Abstract

Employee performance research is still popular in various organizations, including for-profit companies. Performance issues are also a concern in Supperdazzle; not all employees consistently meet sales targets, consumer complaints regarding service performance have not been fully handled, tasks are not completed on time, employees are not ready to work according to standard operational procedures. This study is intended to analyze the impact of perceived organizational support (POS) on task performance through psychological empowerment (PE). The research method used is a quantitative method. Researchers determined all 49 SupperDazzle employees as respondents through a questionnaire and analyzed using the classic assumption test and using multiple linear regression. This classic assumption test includes normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. Mediation testing uses the Sobel test. The results showed a positive influence of POS and PE on task performance. The significant influence of POS on PE also has an impact on the mediating role of PE on the influence of POS on task performance. Organizations can strengthen antecedents to improve employee performance.

Findings – LMX, job satisfaction, and POS partially have a significant positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Leader-member exchange and perceived organizational support partially have a positive effect on OCB Perceived organizational support increases job satisfaction. Leader-member exchange has no significant effect on job satisfaction. The influence of leader-member exchange on OCB is mediated by job satisfaction. Conclusion – POS support plays a role in increasing job satisfaction and then has an impact on strengthening OCB. Research implication – Organizational leaders can improve the implementation of LMX, job satisfaction, and POS variables to increase employee OCB. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the relationship between employee performance at the Yogyakarta City Education, Youth, and Sports Office with job satisfaction, transformational leadership, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This study used an accidental sampling method, with offline questionnaire distribution to employees who were willing to participate. To determine the sample size, the Slovin formula was used which resulted in a sample requirement of 104 respondents from a total population of 140 employees. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software to test the relationship and influence of independent variables on employee performance as the dependent variable. The results showed that transformational leadership had a negligible effect on employee performance, so the direct role of this leadership style was less significant in improving performance. In contrast, job satisfaction had a significant and positive impact on improving employee performance, indicating that psychological well-being, job comfort, and job satisfaction were important factors. In addition, organizational citizenship behavior or OCB has also been shown to significantly improve employee performance. OCB, which reflects employees' voluntary actions to help coworkers or support organizational goals, plays a strategic role in creating a productive, conducive, harmonious, and sustainable work environment. Based on these results, it is recommended that organizations prioritize programs and policies that can improve employee job satisfaction and encourage organizational citizenship behavior. This step is considered effective in optimizing the potential performance of human resources in the Yogyakarta City Education, Youth, and Sports Office. This study contributes to academic understanding of important factors that influence employee performance in the public sector, as well as being a practical guide for organizations to improve employee performance sustainably and consistently. Keywords: Job satisfaction; organizational citizenship behavior; transformational leadership; employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of Education, Training, and Work Environment on Employee Performance and provide strategic insights for human resource management. This study uses a quantitative approach with the census method, involving the entire employee population in Sleman City Mall which totals 114 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5 that included variables of training, education, work environment, and employee performance. The questionnaire is distributed through the appropriate media, with clear instructions for filling and returning. The collected data was analyzed using Path Analysis (SEM) with the help of AMOS software, which included initial data processing, preparation of measurement models, construction of structural models, and hypothesis testing to test the relationships between variables. The results of the analysis show that education plays an important role in improving employee abilities and productivity as well as decision-making capacity. Continuous training strengthens technical and non-technical skills and helps employees adapt to industry changes. However, the Work Environment proved to be the most dominant factor, affecting employee motivation, comfort, and productivity. In conclusion, management needs to strategically integrate education, training, and improvement of the work environment to achieve optimal performance. The implications for organizations include the importance of investing in employee education, developing continuous training programs, and creating a conducive work environment. These measures will increase employee productivity, satisfaction, and loyalty, as well as create a sustainable competitive advantage for the organization.
