Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan permasalahan dan relevansi konsep niteni, nirokke, nambahi dari Ki Hadjar Dewantara dalam konteks pembelajaran sains. Konsep “niteni, nirokke, nambahi” merupakan salah satu konsep pembelajaran dari Ki Hadjar Dewantara yang pandang masih relevan dan dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran pada era saat ini. Reviu sistematis literatur ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada prinsip PRISMA pada data base dari Google Scholar periode 2010-2020 dengan menggunakan kata kunci “niteni, nirokke, nambahi” untuk analisis secara kritis. Ekstraksi data atau analisis data dari artikel atau makalah menggunakan quasi-kuantitatif menggunakan software NVivo 12. Hasil reviu menunjukkan permasalahan penelitian terkait konsep “niteni, nirokke, nambahi” yang dominan adalah (1) kemampuan berpikir kritis; (2) urgensi sikap kreatif; (3) urgensi pemecahan masalah; dan (4) membangun sikap ilmiah. Selain itu, konsep “niteni, nirokke, nambahi” menujukkan masih relevan untuk terus diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sains untuk (1) mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21; (2) membangun sikap ilmiah; (3) meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis; (4) mengembangkan sikap kreatif; (5) mengembangkan keterampilan dikusi, dan (6) meningkatkan penguasaan konsep. Simpulan reviu adalah konsep pendidikan Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi dari Ki Hajar Dewantara masih relevan dan dapat terus diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sains sampai saai ini. Implikasi reviu ini adalah sebagai upaya pelestarian warisan budaya dari KHD dengan proses pengajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Selain itu, reviu ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan komparatif dan bahan rujukan, dalam mengimplementasikan konsep “niteni, nirokke, nambahi” untuk pembelajaran sains.Kata Kunci: Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi, Ki Hadjar Dewantara, dan Pembelajaran Sains

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze science process skills (SPS) and students' interest in learning at SMP Negeri 62 Surabaya while learning uses media Microsoft Teams. This type of research is categorized as descriptive quantitative. The participants selected in this study were students of class VIII B, with 35 students. The instrument used in this study was a test instrument with 18 multiple choice questions covering 6 SPS indicators and a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire containing 20 selected questions. This research using descriptive data analysis techniques. The research’s results are obtaining an average SPS level for class VIII B students in the sufficient group with a percentage of 52%. The highest skill is in the conclusion indicator with percentage of 74%, while the students’ lowest skill is in the indicator measuring with a large percentage of 20%. For the average student interest in learning using media, it falls into the very interested group with a total percentage of 74.2%. It can be concluding that the level of SPS for grade VIII B students of SMP Negeri 62 Surabaya is in the sufficient group so that there is a need for improvement in the SPS-based learning process and students' interest in online learning is in the very interested group so that media is Microsoft Teams suitable for use in the learning process. The implication of this research can be used as a reference and separate in designing learning that can increase SPS and student interest in learning.

Abstract

This research has the aims of representing science learning with the help of video conferencing during the Covid-19 pandemic era, which includes aspects of the level of productivity or pedagogy of science teachers as facilitators and active involvement interests, as well as the expectations of learners. This research method used an exploratory study research type with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques using survey techniques that use instruments questionnaire where scale 5 Likert and open. The technique of determining participants using purposive sampling. There are two data analyses of Miles and Huberman’s data analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques through percentage calculations. The results of the research showed their perception preference for video conference media is very helpful for them in learning online and fostering the interest of learners. Then in the pedagogy aspect, the teacher gives a clear explanation of the material, but the use of video conference has not been fully effective due to connection quality problems which ultimately cut learning time and interaction such as feedback and discussions are only given if there is time left in learning. The expectations of learners include learning by being directly like practice, demonstrating by utilizing props as well as improving the quality of visual video, images and sound in the use of video conferences. The implications of this research include the use of video conference is very helpful for learners’ communication in online learning and tends to develop the interest of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students learning motivation preferences and cognitive learning outcomes using Quizizz on the respiratory system material. The participants of this study were class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pacitan, class VIII F (experimental class), and class VII G (control class). Data collection techniques using motivational questionnaires and giving pretest and posttest. The questionnaire instrument was designed according to the indicators of learning motivation and the tests (pretest and posttest) referred to indicators of cognitive learning outcomes. The statistical test of cognitive learning outcomes between classes VIII F and VIII G also showed consistent results where the average increase test for classes VIII F and VIII G gave the results that there was a difference in the average increase in average between classes VIII F and VIII G with the (p<0.01). The conclusions of this study indicate that the Quizizz evaluation media affects learning motivation and student learning outcomes. This research implies that the teacher can determine interesting and motivating media to be used in science learning so that it can affect student learning outcomes for the better. The use of Quizizz media is very helpful for students in online learning and tends to develop learning motivation during a pandemic and is in line with the Ministry of Education and Culture's policy on education policy in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Nowadays, marine environmental problems are already very worrying. Human activity is the main cause of lack of an attitude towards the environment. The research that has been carried out aims to describe the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards caring for the marine environment that students have, after oceanographic literacy-based learning. The subjects in this study were 30 students in class VII in the area near Paciran beach. Data collection for students' knowledge uses the assignment assessment of poster making and uses questionnaire sheets for student attitudes. Based on the results of the study, 9 data students got poster scores in the very good knowledge category with a very strong attitude category, 13 students in the good knowledge category with 12 students had a very strong attitude category, and one person categorized as a strong attitude, 6 students in the category enough knowledge with very strong attitude categories, the remaining 2 students with less knowledge categories get very strong attitude categories and one of them is strong. Based on calculation using SPSS with a score of 0.695 is known a positive correlation the ability of knowledge and attitudes to care for the environment which is included in the strong category.

Abstract

Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku penggunaan media digital dan pembelajaran berbasis penelitian pada mahasiswa baru di Program Studi Pendidikan Sains Unesa yang mencetak calon guru IPA. Penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa baru angkatan 2015 yang terbagi pada kelas A, B, dan C. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan survei dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa secara umum mahasiswa cenderung berperilaku menggunakan media untuk menunjang pembelajaran (95,3%). Pengaksesan terhadap penelitian dosen sebagai bahan pembelajaran berbasis riset juga ditunjukkan dengan persentase sebanyak 82%. Hasil ini merupakan rerata pada masing-masing kelas. Simpulannya, bentuk representasi penggunaan media digital bagi mahasiswa adalah untuk menunjang pembelajaran dan pembelajaran berbasis riset dilakukan dengan cara menelaah hasil penelitian dosen dengan bidang-bidang yang relevan. Untuk itu, rekomendasi yang dibuat ialah penggunaan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran dan pembelajaran berbasis riset dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengasah kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru sains guna menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran abad 21.Kata Kunci: perilaku, media digital, PBR, calon guru sains

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah melihat validitas penilaian otentik yang telah dikembangkan baik teoritis maupun empiris. Subyek penelitian ini adalah penilaian otentik yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan menggunakan desain penelitian R & D (Research and Development). Instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan adalah rubrik penilaian project report dan presentasi. Penilaian yang telah dikambangkan diuji kelayakannya berdasarkan validitas teoritis dan empirisnya. Validitas teoritis diukur berdasarkan perspektif dari pakar, sedangkan kepraktisan dievaluasi berdasarkan pendapat mahasiswa terhadap penerapan penilaian tersebut. Hasil yang ditunjukkan penelitian ini adalah instrumen yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk diterapkan berdasarkan hasil validasi kepada pakar dan respon mahasiswa. Penilaian yang telah dikembangkan berada pada kategori œsangat baik dan œbaik. Setiap item penilaian memperoleh skor 3 dan 4. Analisis kepraktisan yang digambarkan melalui hasil uji coba terbatas dan respon mahasiswa, menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan penilaian tersebut, meskipun ada beberapa bagian dari rubrik penilaian perlu untuk direvisi lebih lanjut.Kata Kunci: penilaian otentik, validitas teoritis, validitas empiris

Abstract

Capabilities include competence, self-efficacy; self-confidence; self-discipline; to be responsible; self-initiative; and metacognition and what someone will bring to the workforce. This research strives to analyze the capability preferences of the prospective teacher in terms of learning independence. This descriptive study uses learning methods. Participants in this research were 21 students from the State University in East Java using purposive sampling techniques. The probing question is used as a research instrument. Descriptive data analysis. The consequences of data analysis explained that the ability in the aspect of high score learning skills was 85.4% responsible, 84.1% confidence, and 82.5% self-discipline. The conclusion of this study is the efficacy of the prospective student teacher from the perspective of independence learning shows the quality in the aspects of responsibility, self-confidence, and self-discipline. Nevertheless, the representative of self-establishment shows a lower trend correlated to other guidelines as much as 79.5%, or in other words, the meaning of participants is not optimum concerning their own desire for independence. This study reserves the need for further investigation into efforts to enhance the ability of prospective student teachers in higher education in theoretical and practical examinations.Keywords: Capabilities, Exploration, Learning independence, Promised teachers

Abstract

Keputusan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Nomor 16/2009 tentang Jabatan Fungsional Guru dan Angka kreditnya salah satunya, diatur bahwa kegiatan guru harus meliputi unsur utama Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan, yang meliputi: (1) pengembangan diri; (2) publikasi ilmiah; dan (3) karya inovatif. Dengan memperhatikan unsur-unsur kegiatan yang harus dipenuhi oleh guru di atas, di mana guru dituntut untuk bisa menghasilkan karya ilmiah (inovatif) dan mempublikasikannya, maka Tim Pelaksana PKM bermaksud untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru-guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Jombang dalam menyusun proposal penelitian tindakan kelas. Metode dalam kegiatan PKM ini meliputi: memberi informasi tentang PTK dan workshop pendampingan penyusunan proposal PTK.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe how the experiential learning model increases motivation and improves student learning outcomes in the knowledge domain. The research was a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Junior high school (SMPN 1 Surabaya) students in the 7th grade were the subject. The research instruments are learning observation forms, pretest and posttest, and a motivation questionnaire. Data was collected using the learning method, student questionnaire, and pretest and posttest methods. The data analysis included examining learning implementation, test findings of enhanced motivation and learning outcomes using the Wilcoxon test and normalized gain analysis, and a checkup of motivation and student learning. The results showed that the learning model was implemented very well, with an average score of 93 percent at the first meeting and 96 percent at the second meeting. The students' motivation from the pretest was 59 percent with a strong category at the first meeting and then improved to 89 percent with an excellent classification at the second meeting. The second meeting had a higher percentage of 96 percent for student learning outcomes on knowing competency than the first meeting, with a measurement of 64 percent. In conclusion, the experiential learning preparatory in science learning can boost students' motivation and learning outcomes.
