Abstract

ABSTRAK Kawasan pariwisata kuliner merupakan pusat penyebaran penyakit bawaan makanan, terutama disebabkan oleh kurangnya protokol keamanan pangan yang memadai. Meskipun telah diterapkan instruksi higiene dan sanitasi secara luas, perubahan perilaku di kalangan penjamah makanan masih terbatas. Penerapan warung makanan percontohan dengan manajemen higiene yang unggul dapat menjadi model untuk peningkatannya. Namun, aspek hukum dan perencanaan ruang dari inisiatif ini—terutama kepemilikan tanah, batas wilayah pesisir, dan perizinan masih sedikit dieksplorasi. Studi ini menganalisis aspek hukum dan regulasi dalam pendirian warung kuliner percontohan di zona pariwisata pesisir Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) multisektoral dan analisis konten tematik menggunakan NVivo. Hasil analisis mengidentifikasi delapan tema utama: (1) Persetujuan bersyarat untuk pendirian warung kuliner; (2) Kompleksitas hukum dan perizinan; (3) Arsitektur; (4) Revitalisasi; (5) Identitas kuliner lokal dan sertifikasi halal; (6) Modal, ekonomi, dan promosi; (7) Kesehatan dan layanan; dan (8) Tantangan lingkungan. Kesuksesan warung percontohan tidak hanya bergantung pada faktor ekonomi dan kualitas layanan, tetapi juga pada perencanaan ruang yang jelas, kepastian hukum, regulasi yang adaptif, dan penerapan standar kesehatan dan kebersihan. Kerjasama institusional antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah, Keraton Ngayogyakarta, dan masyarakat lokal sangat penting untuk implementasi yang berkelanjutan dan berorientasi pada kesehatan. Abstract

Dehydration is a common problem among individuals engaged in physical activity and workers exposed to heat, and it contributes to decreased work capacity and increased fatigue. Effective rehydration strategies require not only adequate fluid intake but also sufficient electrolyte replacement to maintain body fluid balance. Young coconut water is a natural beverage rich in electrolytes and has the potential to serve as an alternative rehydration drink. This study aimed to systematically synthesize empirical evidence regarding the role of young coconut water as a rehydration beverage on hydration status and work-related fatigue. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines. Literature searches were performed using three electronic databases Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and MDPI and resulted in 16 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis results indicate that young coconut water consumption consistently contributes to the maintenance of hydration status, reduces work-related and physical fatigue, and supports physiological recovery following physical activity. However, its effects on physical performance were found to be variable and context-dependent. Overall, young coconut water demonstrates potential as a natural rehydration strategy, particularly in the context of physical activity and heat-exposed working environments.

Abstract

Cosmetics now continue to be a priority for one's life. Therefore, the cosmetics used must be safely free from harmful ingredients. Mercury is one of the chemicals found in many cosmetic products but its presence is actually dangerous. The selection of safe cosmetics by students is also based on many factors both personal factors such as knowledge and attitudes and social such as from friends and social media. The purpose of this study is to find out the determinants of non-mercury comestic selection. This study is a study that uses observational analytics with a cross sectional research design. The study sample numbered 69 students obtained through random sampling techniques. Data retrieval is done using questionnaires then analyzed using the Chi-square test. There is a knowledge level relationship with the selection of non-mercury cosmetics (p value is 0.004). There is an attitude relationship with the selection of non-mercury cosmetics (p value is 0.004). There is a friend relationship with the selection of non-mercury cosmetics (p value is 0.012). There is a social media connection with the selection of non-mercury cosmetics (p value is 0.048). There is a relationship of knowledge, attitudes, friends and social media with the selection of non-mercury safe cosmetics.

Abstract

This study addresses the relatively high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia, where in 2023 there were 4,460 cases, with hypertension during pregnancy as a leading cause. It aims to examine the relationship between nutrient intake, maternal age, parity, and nutritional status and the incidence of preeclampsia at Umbulharjo 1 Public Health Center in Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, the study involved 45 respondents selected through accidental sampling based on Slovin’s formula, with data collected באמצעות the Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQFFQ). The findings revealed that 33.3% of respondents experienced preeclampsia, with most showing inadequate intake of protein, fat, carbohydrates, sodium, and potassium, but relatively adequate fiber intake. The majority were within the non-risk maternal age group, had low-risk parity, and exhibited poor nutritional status. Bivariate analysis using Fisher’s exact test indicated significant associations between preeclampsia and fat intake, fiber intake, sodium intake, maternal age, parity, and nutritional status, while no significant relationships were found with protein, carbohydrate, or potassium intake. Overall, the study concludes that several nutritional and maternal factors are significantly linked to the occurrence of preeclampsia, highlighting the importance of dietary and maternal health considerations in its prevention.

Abstract

Background: Foodborne disease is food poisoning that can cause illness or death as a result of consuming contaminated food. Food contamination can occur due to biological, physical, and chemical contamination, if food hygiene and sanitation behavior is not good in its application, especially for food handlers. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to hygiene behavior of food sanitation in workers making karak crackers in the home industry of Kerjo Sub-district, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Research Method: This study was using the quantitative analytical observational method with a cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 38 workers making Karak crackers with a total sampling technique. Data analysis used fisher's exact CI 95% (α = 0.05). Findings: This study found that the majority of the age range was 17-45 with education level (81.6%), knowledge level (65.8%), negative attitude (52.6%), and poor food sanitation hygiene behavior (68.4%). The results of Fisher's exact test showed that the variables of age (p-value = 0.147) and education level (p-value = 0.176) were not significantly related to hygiene behavior of food sanitation. While the level of knowledge (p-value = 0.30) and attitudes (p-value = 0.49) have a significant relationship. Conclusion: In sum, the level of knowledge and attitudes of the respondents are the factors that influence the hygiene behavior of food sanitation. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training on food hygiene and sanitation practices for food handlers.
