Abstract

Kepatuhan minum obat merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan terapi yang perlu dicapai. Kepatuhan ini mendukung peningkatan kualitas hidup pasien serta mencegah komplikasi penyakit ke tahap yang lebih berat. Berdasarkan hasil survei dan observasi, tingkat kepatuhan minum obat pada kelompok Prolanis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mokoau tergolong rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran pasien hipertensi dan diabetes mellitus yang tergabung dalam kelompok Prolanis terkait pentingnya kepatuhan dalam minum obat secara rutin. Kampanye ini dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen Farmasi dan Keperawatan Institut Teknologi dan Kesehatan Avicenna melalui metode edukasi, evaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, serta diskusi interaktif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan, implementasi, dan penutup. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pasien terkait hipertensi, diabetes mellitus, tata cara penggunaan obat yang benar, serta pentingnya kepatuhan minum obat. Peningkatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap perubahan perilaku pasien, mendukung keberhasilan terapi pada pasien hipertensi dan diabetes mellitus di kelompok Prolanis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the reading strategies used by the sixth-semester students of English Language Education Study Program who have the highest grade in reading subjects. There were 37 students who participated in this research. The data were obtained through the Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS) questionnaires developed by Mokhtari and Sheorey (2002) and interviews with 10 students. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis. The result revealed that students frequently used three categories of reading strategies: global reading strategies, problem-solving strategies, and support strategies. The students also used skimming, scanning and mind mapping strategies. Then, the most frequently used reading strategies were problem-solving strategies, followed by global reading strategies and support strategies. In conclusion, the students used various reading strategies to comprehend readings well.

Abstract

Tema yang dimuat di dalam pengkajian ini adalah analisis ekonomi dan kelembagaan usahaternak ayam KUB di Kecamatan Jambi Selatan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Pengkajian ini dilakukan pada bulan Nopember 2019. Tujuan pengkajian ini adalah untuk menganalsis kelayakan finansial usahaternak ayam kampung KUB di salah satu peternak ayam KUB Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, dan keragaan kelembagaannya. Metode pengkajian yang digunakan adalah survei. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam pengkajian ini meliputi data primer berupa informasi dari petani ternak ayam KUB serta data sekunder, serta kondisi wilayah pengkajian, demografi penduduk, potensi sosial dan ekonominya. Data primer diambil menggunakan teknik survei yakni mewancara langsung dengan petani ternak ayam kampung KUB dan informasi kunci menggunakan daftar pertanyaan. Setelah dilakukan diskusi dengan koordinator, dan beberapa petugas lapang (PPL) di BPP Jambi Selatan, pengambilan sampel ditentukan secara acak pada populasi petani ternak ayam kampong KUB di lokasi pengkajian. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis tabulasi digunakan untuk pemahaman kondisi usahatani ekonomi petani, analisis kelayakan ekonomi menggunakan R/C ratio. Hasil pengkajian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai R/C ratio dari usahatani ternak ayam KUB adalah 1.17 yang berarti usahatani ternak ayam kampung KUB ini layak untuk dilaksanakan. Namun demikian perlu adanya insentif usahatani bagi petani ternak ayam sehingga petani lebih semangat untuk melaksanakan beternak ayam KUB. Selain itu, aspek ketersediaan dan akses terhadap sumberdaya pakan dan aspek pemasaran telah teridentifikasi sebagai simpul kritis di dalam koridor pengembangan usahaternak ayam KUB di masa depan.

Abstract

Upaya meningkatkan efisiensi reproduksi ternak sapi melalui IB sudah diterapkan secara luas di masyarakat. Pelaksanaan program IB juga mencakup penanganan beberapa kasus kegagalan reproduksi pada ternak betina. Kebanyakan penyebab terjadinya kasus gangguan reproduksi berakar pada permasalahan kualitas pakan. Oleh karenanya perbaikan pakan memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja reproduksi ternak sapi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh respon dari ternak dan peternak terhadap penerapan pakan sapi introduksi pada kelompok tani dalam kondisi eksisting. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga September 2019 di Desa Kotabaru Kecamatan Geragai Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Pemilihan lokasi pengkajian dan kelompok tani kooperator ditentukan secara purposive. Kegiatan dimulai dengan koordinasi, peninjauan lokasi, identifikasi kepemilikan dan status reproduksi ternak. Hasil identifikasi ditetapkan dua kelompok tani sebagai kooperator yaitu kelompok tani Sukamaju dan kelompok tani Sumber Jaya. Diperoleh data bahwa 10 ekor sapi betina yang layak mendapat perlakuan dari kedua kelompok tani tersebut. Perlakuan berupa introduksi penggunaan bahan pakan basal dan aditif, terdiri dari daun indigofera, solid sawit dan aditif minoxvit. Pelaksanaan pemberian pakan introduksi dilakukan selama 60 hari dan pengamatan perkembangan reproduksi dilakukan hingga bulan keempat semenjak perlakuan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa 70% dari sapi perlakuan mengalami perbaikan kondisi reproduksi dibanding kondisi sebelumnya. Sebanyak 3 dari 4 ekor induk yang mengalami postpartum anestrus (PPA) sebelumnya telah dinyatakan bunting 2 ekor dan estrus 1 ekor. Separuh dari 4 ekor dara yang mengalami anestrus telah menunjukan gejala estrus. Satu ekor sapi yang mengalami repeat breading karena sudah 4 kali di-IB tidak kunjung bunting telah dinyatakan bunting pada bulan ke 3. Introduksi penggunaan bahan pakan alternatif berhasil meningkat kinerja reproduksi sapi bali betina di lokasi pengkajian. Peternakan juga memberikan respon yang baik terhadap penggunaan pakan tersebut.

Abstract

The capability to speak English is the prime key to being able to master English. Based on an interview between the researchers and the English teacher at school, students could not speak English with their peers or with their English teachers in daily context. Therefore, the researchers offered an alternative technique to aid English instructors by offering a responsive teaching-learning technique, which is the three-step interview technique. The objective of this research was to examine the impact of implementing the three-step interview approach on the speaking proficiency of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Seberuang. The present study used a pre-experimental research approach, specifically using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample was obtained using a cluster random sampling technique, resulting in a sample of 30 students in the X Mia class. The data were gathered from the outcomes of a pre-test and post-test and analyzed using a t-test and effect size calculation. The outcome of the t-test yielded a value of 5.45. The t-table value at a significance level of 0.05 and a degree of freedom (df) of 29 was determined to be 2.04. The data presented indicates that the t-test value (5.45) exceeded the critical value from the t-table (2.04). The results indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The findings also indicat that the impact size score is 0.92, which falls within the moderate effect category. Based on the results, it can be inferred that the three-step interview approach has positive outcomes in enhancing the speaking proficiency of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Seberuang.

Abstract

This study was aimed to identify the components of the informal learning atmosphere exposed to the EFL learner with ADHD who had a surprising capability in vocabulary mastery and to describe the ADHD learner"™s engagements with the informal learning atmosphere in mastering vocabulary. This study was conducted using case study approach with semi-structured interview questions and field notes as the tools of collecting data. To collect sufficient data to analyze this study, the researcher did interviews and observations. After conducting interviews and observations, the researcher found out that three major components of informal learning atmosphere had been exposed to this learner started from his early age. There were everyday family setting, autonomous learner, and visual, audio-visual and digital media taken important parts in developing his language development, especially in his vocabulary mastery. Unfortunately, other components of informal learning atmosphere which should take place in the school could not be analyzed due to the lack of English language exposures in his special needs school. Furthermore, the researcher found that the ADHD learner"™s engagements with an informal learning atmosphere had maximized his strengths and minimized his weaknesses of his ADHD symptoms in enhancing his language skills, especially in mastering vocabulary.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia as a teaching and learning media to teach reading narrative text to the ninth-grade student"™s SMP negeri 4 Sambas. The form of this research was Research and Development (RD). This RD research was conducted to produce innovative teaching media. The method of this research was adapted from Branch (2009), that consists of three phases namely analyzing, designing, and developing (ADD). In the analyze phase found that the actual conditions of students and the teacher. Design phase was done to prepare the appropriate material to create the application. Develop phase was done to create an essential part of the Interactive multimedia using software called Smart App Creator (SAC). The designed product was completed after having internal validation regarding to the needs. Abstract

By using the Early Warning System ratio, this study aims to determine the financial performance of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019-2023. For this study, purposive sampling technique was used, and the data analysis used was descriptive analysis. In this study, the ratio used is the fund adequacy ratio, which consists of the level of adequacy of funds ratio, incurred loss ratio, liabilities to liquid assets, and retention ratio. The results of the study show that insurance companies have had good financial performance, although when viewed from the retention ratio itself, they have poor financial performance. Abstract

The breast milk production of newborn’s mother is influenced by various factors for instance the frequency of breastfeeding, infants birth weight, gestational age, and maternal nutritional status. Hence, this study aims to determine the correlation of newborns birth weight and gestational ages on frequency of the mothers in breastfeeding their babies. This study is designed as an analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. For the population, the researchers took 0 to 23 month infants’ mothers to be investigated, and further, 90 respondents were derived as the sample through simple random sampling technique which conducted in June 2017. As the research instrument, questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. The data gathered was analyzed by Chi Square statistical test. The results expose that most of the newborns, close to 81.1%, were born with normal body weight, on the other hand, 68.9% considered to meet the due-date of the gestational age, and 80.0% mothers experienced high breastfeeding frequency. It was noted the correlation of babies birth weight with p value = 0,005 and gestational age with p value = 0,003 to the mothers breastfeeding frequency. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation of the newborns birth weight and gestational age of the pregnancy on the mothers’ breastfeeding frequency, particularly in the service area of Sei Harapan Integrated Health Post (posyandu) of Sekupang, Batam in 2017.  Finally, it is hoped the respondents to dig out more information from various sources to enhance their knowledge and understanding on the factors that potentially affect the breastfeeding.
