Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan gizi kronis yang signifikan di Indonesia, termasuk di wilayah pinggiran kota seperti Desa Gunung Hasahatan, Kota Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi yang memengaruhi pola asuh dan praktik gizi balita di wilayah tersebut. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap ibu balita, kader Posyandu, petugas gizi, serta tokoh masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya literasi gizi ibu, pengaruh budaya lokal, keterbatasan ekonomi, serta kurang optimalnya intervensi lembaga kesehatan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap tingginya kasus stunting. Praktik pemberian makan yang tidak sesuai kebutuhan mikronutrien, kepercayaan tradisional yang menormalisasi tubuh kurus, dan minimnya keterlibatan edukatif menjadi kendala utama. Intervensi edukasi berbasis komunitas oleh perguruan tinggi menunjukkan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran gizi masyarakat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi penanggulangan stunting berbasis multisektor, partisipatif, dan kontekstual dengan mengintegrasikan pendekatan budaya, peningkatan literasi gizi, serta pemberdayaan ekonomi keluarga. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar perumusan kebijakan lokal yang lebih adaptif dan berkelanjutan dalam penanganan stunting di wilayah pinggiran kota.

Abstract

The integration of augmented reality (AR) technology into education has gained attention as an innovative tool to enhance students' learning experiences, particularly for abstract concepts such as chemical bonding. E-modules that incorporate AR can provide three-dimensional visualizations, making complex topics more accessible and engaging. This study aims to develop and validate practical e-modules using AR technology to enhance students' spatial intelligence while incorporating local wisdom from Padangsidimpuan. The research follows a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model and a pretest-posttest control group design. Data were collected from three high schools in Padangsidimpuan using simple random sampling. Instruments included validation sheets (for material, media, and language), observation, user response questionnaires, and pretest-posttest tests to assess students' spatial intelligence. The e-module achieved high validation scores: 0.9 (material), 0.8 (media), and 0.9 (language). Student response rates were 80% (feasibility), 85% (AR usage), and 83.2% (language). Teachers provided an average response score of 88.6, indicating high practicality. The spatial intelligence assessment across the three schools yielded an average score of 0.85 in the high category. The AR-based e-modules effectively improve students' spatial intelligence by visualizing abstract chemical bonding concepts in 3D. This innovation contributes to enhancing chemistry education and preserving local wisdom in Padangsidimpuan, offering a model for future educational advancements.

Abstract

Stunting adalah gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak akibat kekurangan gizi dalam jangka panjang. Stunting bisa disebabkan oleh malnutrisi yang dialami ibu saat hamil, atau anak pada masa pertumbuhannya. Sosialisasi tentang stunting telah dilakukan di Desa Simatohir, Kecamatan Angkola Julu, Kota Padangsidimpuan pada tanggal 12 Januari 2025. Beberapa materi yang disampaikan saat sosialisasi adalah apa itu stunting, penyebabnya, dan cara pencegahannya. Kegiatan ini melibatkan kolaborasi antara tenaga kesehatan, mahasiswa KKN, dan pemerintah daerah dalam memberikan wawasan tentang pengenalan serta pencegahan stunting dengan pemanfaatan pangan fungsional daun kelor yang diolah menjadi kukis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi, serta demonstrasi pengolahan pangan fungsional (kukis) berbahan dasar kelor. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat desa Simatohir sangat partisipatif dalam sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari sesi diskusi yang dibuka dan demonstrasi pengolahan kelor kukis yang dilaksanakan oleh Dosen beserta mahasiswa KKN

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading skills of fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School 101103 Tolang Jae through the application of the deep learning instructional model. In this context, deep learning is not related to artificial intelligence algorithms but is employed as a pedagogical approach that emphasizes deep comprehension, reflection, and the application of concepts in real-life situations. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design adapted from Kemmis and McTaggart’s model, which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study involved 28 students with varying literacy levels. Data were collected through reading literacy tests administered at each learning cycle and analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ literacy performance from cycle I to cycle II, indicated by an increase in the proportion of students scoring above 80, from 17.8% to 35.7%. The use of critical discussions, concept mapping, and meaning exploration effectively enhanced students’ understanding of reading materials and fostered critical thinking toward texts. Therefore, the deep learning-based instructional approach proved effective in improving reading literacy skills among elementary students, particularly in rural schools with limited learning resources.
