Abstract

This study aims to determine how the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 31 Lubuklinggau social studies after the implementation of smart box learning media significantly completed. The research method uses a pre-experimental research method that only involves one class as an experimental class without a control class with a one-group pretest-posttest design, in this design there is a pre-test before treatment and a post-test after treatment so that the conditions after treatment can be compared. The population in this study is fourth grade totaling 42 students. The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling technique, a sampling technique used if the author has certain considerations in sampling or determining samples for certain purposes. Data collection techniques use interview sheets, observation sheets, and written tests. Data analysis techniques use data normality tests and hypothesis tests. The instrument used by the author is in the form of essay questions totaling 10 questions and then after being analyzed, 8 (eight) valid questions are obtained. The data is analyzed using the "t" test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, t count = 5.08 and ttable 1.73. So tcount (5.08) > ttable (1.72) with this, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it is concluded that the results of social studies learning of grade IV students of SD Negeri 31 Lubuklinggau after the application

Abstract

The present study was conducted in response to the low learning outcomes of students in understanding Pancasila Education content, particularly in applying Pancasila values in everyday life. This problem was related to the use of learning media that were still limited and less engaging, as well as learning activities that tended to be conventional. One way to improve students’ understanding is through the use of interesting, contextual learning media supported by Artificial Intelligence, such as CTL-based e-comics. This study aimed to develop an e-comic, identify its validity, and examine students’ knowledge acquisition outcomes after using the developed e-comic. This research adopted the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE framework. The study involved 20 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 23 Lubuklinggau as research participants. The findings indicated that the developed e-comic obtained validity scores of 0.96 from the material expert, 0.85 from the media specialist, and 0.87 from the linguistics specialist, all of which were categorized as highly valid. The practicality test results showed percentages of 94.2% in the individual trial, 91.08% in the small-group trial, and 97.3% in the product trial, which were categorized as highly practical. The pre-test and post-test results indicated an increase in students’ academic performance after using the developed e-comic. The mean N-gain value was 0.52, which was categorized as medium. Based on the results of the study, the AI-assisted CTL-based e-comic developed using Canva is feasible for use in Pancasila Education learning at primary schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based e-comic for cultural diversity learning in grade IV and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed the ADDIE research and development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product integrated contextual learning activities with local cultural elements and was evaluated by media, language, and subject-matter experts. Practicality was examined through teacher responses and one-to-one and small-group trials, whereas effectiveness was assessed using pretest and posttest scores from 32 students. The expert validation yielded an average score of 96%, indicating that the product was highly valid. The practicality assessment reached 95%, indicating that the media was highly practical. Students’ mean score increased from 54.49 on the pretest to 82.52 on the posttest, with an N-gain of 0.62 in the moderate category. These findings indicate that the CTL-based e-comic is valid, practical, and effective for supporting meaningful cultural diversity learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the learning mastery of Grade V students in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SD Negeri 32 Lubuklinggau after the implementation of the Make A Match cooperative learning model assisted by Flash Card media. The main problem addressed in this study was the low student learning outcomes, with only 25% of students achieving the minimum mastery criterion. This research employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 24 students from Class V.A. Data were collected through an objective test and analyzed using a one-sample t-test. The results showed that the mean score increased from 46.11 on the pretest to 78.61 on the posttest. The hypothesis testing indicated that the calculated t-value (4.061) was higher than the critical t-value (1.714), leading to the conclusion that the implementation of the Make A Match cooperative learning model assisted by Flash Card media significantly improved students' learning mastery in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) for Grade V students at SD Negeri 32 Lubuklinggau.
