Abstract

Coconut fiber waste processed into cocopeat can be an excellent growing medium. The management of scattered coconut fiber waste, which can only spoil the surrounding environment, requires innovation and technological renewal capable of compacting cocopeat into a highly useful and economically valuable growing medium. The production of growing media involves adding rice husk charcoal, husk, and burnt soil in an environmentally friendly manner. The cocopeat pressing machine can be used to facilitate farmers' work, making it more effective and efficient, thus addressing the problem of cocopeat waste and turning it into a growing medium that can increase the income of coconut farmers. The aim of this program is to improve the economy of the Dusun Karya Tani community through the implementation of a growing media press machine by utilizing cocopeat and rice husk waste. This program involves several key stages: needs identification and planning, procurement and installation of the press machine, technical and business management training, production and marketing, and monitoring and evaluation. The results of this program show a significant increase in community knowledge and skills related to the operation of the press machine and business management. Production of growing media increased from 50 kg to 300 kg per week, with better and more consistent product quality. This production increase directly impacts community income, rising from IDR 500,000 to IDR 2,500,000 per month. Besides the economic impact, the program also provides social and environmental benefits. The utilization of agricultural waste reduces the amount of unmanaged waste, while increased community involvement in productive economic activities helps reduce unemployment rates. Program evaluation indicates the need for further training and periodic assistance to ensure program sustainability.

Abstract

PT Hansindo Mineral Persada is a granite mining company. Mining activities at PT Hansindo Mineral Persada use blasting and the help of a hydraulic excavator breaker to break up boulders. The crusher setting at PT Hansindo has a size of 50 cm, so rocks above 50 cm must be crushed first to make them smaller. The research aims to gain the capability of equipment production. Thus, it can assist in meeting production and cost requirements. Apart from that, this is also an effort to increase the production of hydraulic excavator breakers. Data collection in the field is carried out by observing cycle times, work constraints, working time, operational costs, the need for fuel, lubricants, etc. Then, the data is calculated on cycle time, effective working time, number of production tools, and operational costs. After that, it is necessary to make improvements during the effective working time of the obstacles that occur or to increase the number of hydraulic excavator breakers. The calculation results show that the production capacity of one hydraulic breaker excavator unit is 21.77 BCM/hour or 4,277.98 BCM/month. The operational cost for one tool is IDR 2,944,133.88/day. The increased production of the two recommended alternatives resulted in an increase of up to 4,468.41 BCM/month by improving the effective working time and 8,583.03 BCM/month by increasing the number of tools. The value of tool availability for MA increased by 0.1%, PA by 0%, UA increased by around 4%, and EU increased by around 4%.

Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze the role of accounting information systems in improving the quality of management strategic decision-making and analyzing the relationship between the use of accounting information systems and the quality of information and management strategic decision-making. The research method used is descriptive method research. The data source used is secondary data and the data collection method is done through observation, documentation, and literature. The method used in analyzing and processing the collected data is qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study showed that the accounting information system plays an important role in improving management's strategic decision-making at PT Krakatau Sarana Properti. The accounting information system provides accurate, timely, and relevant financial and non-financial information so that it can assist management in making strategic decisions to improve company performance. And found several internal and external obstacles: Internal errors such as limited human resource capabilities and skills in using information systems, and external errors such as the security and integrity of financial data that is vulnerable to cyber threats. Abstract

Family economic transformation in Bayah District, especially through the implementation of financial management by PKK mothers, is the focus of community service activities. Against the background of the need for financial literacy, especially among women, the main objective is to improve the understanding and skills of household financial management. The research methodology used a Participatory Action Approach involving 35 participants. Key outcomes significantly improved participants' financial literacy, from expenditure identification to financial priority evaluation. The implications of this service include the potential to improve family welfare and positive impacts on the community, especially through the active role of PKK mothers as agents of change in local economic development. Targeted financial management is key in improving financial literacy, contributing positively to economic growth in Bayah District. Although this dedication makes a significant contribution, it is recommended to involve more relevant parties, expand geographical coverage, and involve more societal elements to gain a more holistic understanding.

Abstract

Background: West Java is one of the provinces with the highest prevalence of diarrhea. In 2023, the province reported 1,346,230 diarrhea cases of all age groups. Mapping high-risk areas for diarrhea will help in decision-making for the implementation of prevention and control efforts. Methods: This is a descriptive study using secondary data from Open Data Jabar 2023. The analysis was conducted to produce maps showing the distribution of dependent and independent variables, as well as the level of diarrhea risk in each district/city through scoring of all independent variables. Results: Out of 27 districts/cities, 6 were categorized as very high-risk and 3 as high-risk, with the highest scored variables were drinking water facilities, access to proper sanitation and stopping open defecation. However, when the risk levels were compared with the number of diarrhea cases, some districts/cities with low risk reported high and very high numbers of diarrhea cases, while some with very high risk had relatively low case numbers. Conclusion: The analysis shows that in 2023, about one-third districts/cities in West Java fall into the at-risk category for diarrhea. Prevention efforts should be focused on districts/cities with high risk. Further studies are needed to understand the role of other risk factors, as there is an inconsistency between risk levels and reported cases in several districts/cities.

Abstract

Cases of drug abuse continue to increase from year to year. It has targeted senior and junior high school students with a social and academic impact. Students' low knowledge about drugs before intervention provides a solid basis for developing more intensive prevention strategies. This service activity aims to build a shared understanding regarding the threat of drugs and gain a deeper understanding of students' perspectives and experiences regarding drug problems. Another aim is to increase knowledge, which is expected to change the behavior of the younger generation towards drugs at SMPN 1 Bayah Barat. Socialization and discussion methods effectively increase knowledge, which is expected to alter positive behavior. The importance of stakeholder collaboration reflects the holistic approach needed to overcome the drug threat. The implications provide a solid basis for involving schools, families, and communities in prevention efforts. The community service that has been carried out has significantly contributed to increasing understanding, which is expected to change behavior and create a safer school environment. This activity's results can sustainably impact efforts to prevent drug abuse at SMPN 1 Bayah Barat and inspire similar community service in other places. Abstrak: Kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba terus mingkat dari tahun ke tahun. Bahkan, ia telah menyasar peserta didik pada jenjang SMA dan SMP yang berdampak secara sosial dan akademik. Rendahnya pengetahuan siswa tentang narkoba sebelum intervensi menjadi dasar yang solid untuk mengembangkan strategi pencegahan yang lebih intensif. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk membangun pemahaman bersama terkait ancaman narkoba serta mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai perspektif dan pengalaman siswa terhadap permasalahan narkoba. Tujuan lainnya adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan yang diharapkan dapat merubah perilaku generasi muda terhadap narkoba di SMPN 1 Bayah Barat. Metode sosialisasi dan diskusi sangat efektif dalam mencapai peningkatan pengetahuan yang diharapkan dapat merubah perilaku positif. Pentingnya kerjasama antar stakeholder mencerminkan pendekatan holistik yang diperlukan dalam mengatasi ancaman narkoba. Implikasi menjadikan dasar yang kuat untuk melibatkan sekolah, keluarga, dan komunitas dalam upaya pencegahan. Pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman yang diharapkan dapat merubah perilaku dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman. Hasil kegiatan ini dapat memberikan dampak positif yang berkelanjutan dalam upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba di SMPN 1 Bayah Barat dan dapat menjadi inspirasi untuk pengabdian masyarakat serupa di tempat lain. Abstract

Mitra pada kegiatan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat ini adalah Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Pontianak yang merupakan sekolah Adiwiyata. Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi dengan mitra, SMAN 3 Pontianak telah ditetapkan sebagai sekolah berbasis lingkungan hijau atau Adiwiyata pada jenjang Provinsi tahun 2016. Saat ini SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak memiliki target untuk menjadi sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional dan Mandiri. Namun ada beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi salah satunya adalah rendahnya inovasi kegiatan Adiwiyata. Maka pada kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah mitra melalui pengelolaan Bank Sampah dan pelatihan pengolahan limbah sampah menjadi produk jadi yang memiliki nilai tambah dilihat dari segi ekonomi. Pada kegiatan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat ini dilakukan transfer IPTEK pada pengelolaan sampah baik organik maupun anorganik yakni pelatihan komposting, ecoprinting dan daur ulang kertas. Selain itu juga dilakukan hibah dan pendampingan teknologi tepat guna (TTG) berupa mesin pencacah sampah organik dan alat press kaleng. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan PKM Adiwiyata ini dapat membantu akselerasi SMAN 3 Pontianak menjadi sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the transaction association method using the Apriori Algorithm in the case study of Ibu Siti's Grocery Store. In a retail environment, understanding customer purchasing patterns is crucial for effective marketing strategies and product arrangement. The Apriori Algorithm was chosen for its capability to discover association rules from large transaction datasets, which will yield valuable information regarding relationships between sales items. The implementation process includes data pre-processing, candidate itemset generation, and the calculation of support, confidence, and lift to extract significant association rules. The results of this research are expected to provide strategic recommendations for Ibu Siti's Grocery Store in arranging product layouts, planning package promotions, and managing product inventory more efficiently. Thus, the application of this algorithm is expected to increase the store's profit and competitiveness.

Abstract

Proses penentuan kelayakan kredit pada Alfiansyah Dealer selama ini dilakukan secara konvensional dimana pertimbangan kredit diberikan kepada calon pembeli atau tidak dilakukan secara langsung oleh pemilik berdasarkan pertimbangan data seadanya. Permasalahan yang sering timbul adalah karena cenderung melakukan penilaian yang subjektif terhadap calon pembeli, tidak jarang kredit yang telah diberikan bermasalah dalam hal kelancaran angsuran atau bahkan konsumen melarikan diri, dan sebagainya. Pemilik selaku pimpinan membutuhkan suatu sistem bantu yang dapat memberikan hasil penilaian/ perhitungan sebagai bahan pertimbangan berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditetapkan untuk Alfiansyah Dealer. Sistem yang dibuat adalah sistem bantu rekomendasi kelayakan pemberian kredit kendaraan pada Alfiansyah Dealer dengan kriteria untuk penilaian adalah jumlah gaji, status rumah, status pernikahan, jumlah keluarga, jumlah anggsuran, dan waktu anggsuran yang diproses berdasarkan algoritma klasifikasi NAÏVE BAYES. Berdasarkan hasil uji sistem diketahui bahwa sistem dapat berjalan cukup baik berdasarkan nilai kriteria dengan data training yang ada. Pihak Alfiansyah Dealer menyimpulkan bahwa dengan memanfaatkan sistem rekomendasi dengan penerapan NAÏVE BAYES, dimaksudkan untuk membantu memperluas kapabilitas Alfiansyah Dealer, namun tidak menggantikan penilaian dan keputusan akhir dari pimpinan
