Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept offered by Buddhayana regarding pluralism and the implications of the Buddhayana concept of pluralism for the relations between internal sects of Buddhism and other religions. Pluralism is an idea or method that recognizes and appreciates diversity within a community or country. This means recognizing that there are different viewpoints, values, beliefs, and cultures that can exist within it. Pluralism seeks to encourage tolerance, respect differences, and promote cooperation between diverse groups. This research uses library research and interviews which focus on figures from the Buddhayana Council as primary data, as well as related books as secondary data sources. The approach used is a sociological approach, which includes the concept of institutional structure as a conceptual tool. Its function is to integrate relationships and interactions within a social community. The concept of pluralism offered in Buddhayana values in dealing with the issue of plurality is the concept of active harmony. Namely the concept of coexistence with stronger associations and mutual appropriation from various traditions, schools of thought and sects in Buddhism. Abstract

Knowledge is an important resource that supports process management to produce efficient and effective products and services. The research objective is to examine the influence of process management on performance through the role of knowledge creation in the future of new normal. Survey method with saturated sample was used for data collection on 126 head of study programs at public and private universities in the city of Semarang. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach was used to analyze the data. The results of the study found that process management has no direct effect on organizational performance and knowledge creation directly affects performance. Tests indirectly show that the knowledge creation shown to mediate the effect of process management on organizational performance. Implications of research for leaders as a consideration in the implementation of process management practices and knowledge creation in the new normal era of the organization. Suggestions for future research should use a longitudinal design, so that studies can be developed and explored more deeply and prepare other techniques or strategies as alternative solutions in data collection so that they are in accordance with the set targets

Abstract

The objective of the study was to examine the direct and indirect influences of Islamic work ethics on employees behavior toward organization change with organizational commitment as mediation. The population of the study was Public Civil Servants of the general inspectors of finance ministry. The samples were taken by Solvin method. It was a purposive sampling with 87 respondents. The results of the study showed that there was a direct influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment, there was not any direct influence of organizational commitment on employees behavior toward organizational change, there was an indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on employees behavior toward organization change with organizational commitment as the mediation. It is concluded that there were a direct and an indirect influences of Islamic work ethics on employees behavior toward organizational commitmen as the mediation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauhmana pengaruh WCT, CR dan DTA terhadap ROI perusahaan manufaktur di Bursa Efek Indonesia baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2008-2009 sebanyak 149 perusahaan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan non probabilistik sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 62 perusahaan. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan, dimana secara simultan (WCT, CR, DTA) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas sebesar 21,9%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 78,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Secara parsial variabel efisiensi modal kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas yang artinya secera keseluruhan adalah bahwa besar kecilnya profitabilitas perusahaan dipengaruhi oleh efisiensi modal kerja, sedangkan likuiditas dan leverage tidak berpengaruh. Secara bersama-sama besar kecilnya profitabilitas dipengaruhi oleh efisiensi modal kerja, likuiditas dan leverage.This study aimed to assess simultaneously or partially the influence of WCT, CR and DTA toward ROI of manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling was carried out using non-probabilistic sampling and obtained 62 of 149 manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2009. The results of regression analysis show that WCT, CR, DTA simultaneously have a significant effect 21,9% toward profitability, while the rest of 78,1% is influenced by other factors. Meanwhile, the efficiency of working capital variable influence significantly toward the overall profitability. It means that all variables include the size of the company’s profitability is affected by the efficiency of working capital, but liquidity and leverage. Abstract

This study examines the effect of social capital and entrepreneurial leadership on the performance of MSMEs with innovation capability as a mediating variable. The population of this study was culinary sector MSMEs in Semarang City, with a sample of 193 respondents determined by Taro Yamane formula. Data analysis techniques include validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, and hypothesis testing using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS version 4.0. The results show that social capital and entrepreneurial leadership have a positive effect on innovation capability and MSME performance. This finding confirms the role of innovation capability as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between social capital and entrepreneurial leadership on MSME performance. For further research, it is recommended to include other variables such as market orientation and different leadership styles in order to expand the conceptual model developed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain influence of conflict management strategy on teamwork performance. This kind of conflict can happen to everyone and in any places disregarding status, income and position. Someone who can not manage conflicts will have a threat for his personal performance, and unfortunately, company’s performance will also gain the effect. Accordingly, we need a strategy to manage  conflicts as an effort to create a good performance for individual employee performance as well as tha team performance. The population af this research is the entire educational employees in UNNES by taking some samples using propotional sampling to around 88 samples. The result of this research  proves that hypothesis stating “conflict management strategy” influenced positively and significantly on teamwork performance is accepted. This explains that conflict management strategy can give contribution to the teamwork performance through employee’s ability to accomodate ideas from partners of work, avoid disputes by respecting each other, maintaining communication and conduct colaboration on working methods. It is suggested that this research should improve strategies in managing conflicts such as strategies to compete at work by giving chance to other partner to use theirs skill in making decision and finding solution to solve the job.Keywords: conflict management strategy, teamwork’s performance, educational employee

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh kecocokan nilai individu dan organisasi terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif dan peran mediasi pemberdayaan psikologis pada pengaruh kecocokan nilai individu dan organisasi terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Populasi dari penelitian merupakan seluruh pimpinan koperasi simpan pinjam dan konsumen di Kabupaten Kebumen. Sebanyak 70 responden telah ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling. Penelitian ini melakukan pengujian hipotesis dengan software SmartPLS versi 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecocokan nilai individu dan organisasi tidak berpengatuh terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Namun, kecocokan nilai individu dan organisasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap pemberdayaan psikologis. Pemberdayaan psikologis juga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Kemudian, pemberdayaan psikologis memiliki peran mediasi penuh pada pengaruh kecocokan nilai individu dan organisasi terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Responden yang terbatas dan pengembalian angket kurang maksimal menjadi keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini, sehingga untuk penelitian yang akan datang diharapkan mampu menambahkan responden untuk mencapai data ideal, mengembangkan variabel independen yang lain seperti kepemimpinan dan persepsi dukungan organisasi.

Abstract

Potensi perikanan yang ada di Indonesia merupakan salah satu sektor yang dimanfaatkan untuk menopang perekonomian sebagian masyarakat. Desa Bulumeduro merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Bancar yang memanfaatkan potensi laut baik dalam penangkapan dan perdagangan. Produk kelautan dan perikanan yang ditawarkan, penting bagi para pelaku usaha di bidang ini untuk memperhatikan aspek packaging, labelling, dan digital marketing guna membedakan produk mereka dari pesaing, meningkatkan daya tarik produk, dan memenangkan persaingan pasar. Sehingga, kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan untuk mendukung inovasi kreativitas dalam pengembangan produk yang dapat meningkatkan daya jual dari produk kelautan dan perikanan maasyarakat. Adapun kegiatan yang pengabdian yang diberikan kepada peserta berupa pembekalan pengetahuan dan teknik terkini meliputi packaging, labelling, dan marketing yang efektif. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik diharapkan kualitas dan keamanan produk kelautan dan perikanan yang dihasilkan, sehingga memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan dan membangun kepercayaan konsumen.

Abstract

The vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the most popular shrimp species, widely cultivated throughout Indonesia. This species has several advantages, including rapid growth, the ability to be cultivated at high densities in intensive systems, and resilience to environmental changes. The presence of plankton and the quality of water in the cultivation medium significantly affect the growth and survival of vannamei shrimp. This study aims to evaluate plankton abundance and the dynamics of water quality in intensive vannamei shrimp farming. The research was conducted at two intensive vannamei shrimp farms in East Java with shrimp aged between 1 and 60 days. Water quality measurements were taken directly from the cultivation ponds (salinity, pH, and dissolved oxygen) and in the laboratory (ammonia, nitrite, phosphate, alkalinity, and total organic content). The average abundance of plankton in the intensive vannamei shrimp farming medium ranged from 190 x 10³ to 960 x 10³ individuals/mL, consisting of four groups: green algae, diatoms, dinoflagellates, and blue-green algae. Green algae were the most abundant group, making up 69.9% to 71.9%, while diatoms were the least abundant at 1.9% to 3.0%. In intensive vannamei shrimp farming, the salinity of the cultivation medium ranged from 16 to 35 ppt, pH from 7.5 to 9.0, dissolved oxygen from 3.2 to 5.7 mg/L, and temperature from 28.0 to 31.3°C. The water chemistry parameters measured were ammonia, nitrite, phosphate, alkalinity, and total organic content, with respective ranges of 0.001–0.030 mg/L, 0.05–1.00 mg/L, 0.25–3.00 mg/L, 104–232 mg/L, and 27–131 mg/L. The dynamics of water quality remained within the optimal range for vannamei shrimp farming, as outlined in Regulation KP Number 75 of 2016 regarding general guidelines for the rearing of tiger shrimp and vannamei shrimp.

Abstract

The regional autonomy program grants greater authority to local governments to manage their potential, improve public services, and encourage community participation. Ensuring public services are efficient and community-oriented poses distinct difficulties for village officials. Village officials’ service quality is significantly influenced by their competency. A lack of public speaking proficiency among village officials can obstruct effective message delivery and weaken public participation. This community service initiative aims to enhance the soft skills of village officials through public speaking training based on simulation method. This method enables participants to simulate situations similar to real-life conditions, enhancing comprehension, memory, and hands-on skills. The training combines oral teaching with hands-on practice, which is considered effective for experience-based learning. Training evaluation results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding and skills related to fundamental public speaking techniques. The findings from this activity also emphasize the importance of training designs that are adaptive to participants’ needs, including the necessity for longer allocated time for simulation sessions and the use  of additional learning media such as representative public speaking practice videos. The sustainability of the program will be strengthened through additional competency training fit with field needs and involving Karang Taruna to form an inclusive and participatory public communication ecosystem from an early age.
