Final Project. Management Department. Faculty of Economics. Semarang State University. Advisor. Sri Wartini, S.E., M.M. This research is motivated by the emergence of the phenomenon of the increasing use motorcycle of Honda brand compared to the other brands. It can encourage consumers to switch to motorcycle of Honda. The problem in this research is there any influence of product attributes, advertising, and reference groups to the brand switching partially or simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of product attributes, advertising, and reference groups to the brand switching partially or simultaneously. The population of this study is all consumers of CV Cendana Motor Cepiring, Kendal. The sample of this research was determined using iterations formula method with a total of 116 respondents using Purposive Sampling. The data collection methods of this study was questionnaires. The data analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis, classical assumption and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21. The regression analysis resulted the equation, Y= -5.351 + 0.388 X1 + 0.299 X2 + 0.419 X3. Based on partial hypothesis testing the results of partially, product attributes, advertising and reference groups give positive influence to the brand switching decision. While the results of simultaneous hypothesis test show that product attributes, advertising, and reference groups give positive effect on the brand switching decision. It can be concluded from this study that the higher the frequency of product attributes, advertising and the influence of the reference groups, the higher the decision to switch to Honda motorcycle. Advise for companies are suggested to convey input regarding product’s attributes to Honda’s producer, maintaining the effort advertising, and maintaining the marketing effort through agents or reference groups. Suggestion for the future researchers is to add another independent variables and expand the object of research by comparing other brands that have the same characteristics, such as comparing brand gadget and fashion.

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to explain transformational leadership, quality of work life, and affect on organizational citizenship behavior trhough organizational commitment. The population in this research was all production employee’s PT Ungaran Indah Busana Semarang with of 94 respondents. Method sampling used by proportional stratified random sampling. Method of data collection used questionnaires that measure used a likert scale. The method of analysis in this research used proggame SPSS 21.0 for windows. Result show that transformational leadership to have influence of organizational citizenship behavior amount 0.013, quality of work life to have influence of organizational citizenship behavior amount 0.041, transformational leadership to have influence of organizational commitment amount 0.015, quality of work life to have influence of organizational commitment amount 0.046, and organizational commitment as a mediating variables influence transformational leadership and quality of work life on organizational citizenship behavior mounted to 0.262. Conclusion from this research was more increase of transformational leadership and quality of work life, so it will be increase organizational commitment so it can increased organizational citizenship behavior. Advice for the company is to increased employee motivation at work

Abstract

Decreased levels of employee performance of sales in the last year, among 1.1 % on a special performance and employee absenteeism rate target of 1% is not achievable indicate satisfaction and quality of life of employees can affect employee performance. The problem in this research is there any influence of the quality of work life , job satisfaction on employee performance. The population in this study were all employees of Honda Semarang Center Setiabudi 521 people with a sample of 84 people using the formula Slovin. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, methods of analysis, test instrument (validity and reliability test), descriptive analysis of the percentage, the classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The results showed that the variable quality of worklife positive effect on job satisfaction; the variable quality of working life has positive influence on employee performance; variable job satisfaction has positive influence on employee performance; and the variable quality of working life through the indirect effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. Suggestions for the company in improving the performance of employees in order to pay attention to aspects of quality of work life and job satisfaction of employees proved influential on employee performance.

Abstract

Organizational support and work engagement are important for public health personnel at Balai Kesehatan Masyarakat to feel comfortable and safe at the workplace. Patient visits data assessed and evaluated by Dinas Kesehatan Central Java Province shows that the average patient visits within the last five years in several working areas at Balai Kesehatan Masyarakat Central Java Province significantly decrease. The purpose of the research is to examine public health personnel’s performance through perceived organizational support and work engagement. This research used a quantitative research method and questionnaires distributed to 86 public health personnel in Balai Kesehatan Masyarakat that were tested using SEM-PLS with smart pls 3.0 program. The findings show that perceived organizational support and work engagement significantly affect performance; thus, all of the hypothesis is acceptable.

Abstract

Kinerja organisasi menjadi peranan penting sebagai tolok ukur keberhasilan sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan. Untuk mencapai kerberhasilan tersebut kinerja organisasi banyak dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya adalah dari faktor kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya organisasi itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kedua faktor tesebut terhadap kinerja organisasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Perum Bulog Divre Jawa Tengah sejumlah 94 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampel. Bedasarkan olah data dengan program statistik SPSS versi 19.00 membuktikan bahwa pengujian hipotesis secara parsial untuk variabel kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya organisasi terbukti berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi, ini menjelaskan bahwa semakin baik kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi tersebut diterapkan, akan semakin dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi.Kontribusi kedua variabel bebas terhadap Kinerja organisasi dapat dilihat pada nilai R Square sebesar 33,1% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi memiliki peran penting untuk keberhasilan dalam memotivasi kerja karyawan, yang akhirnya berdampak pada kinerja organisasi

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of corporate strategy as a mediating influence between unique capabilities and environmental turbulence on the performance of Legal Entity Universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Berbadan Hukum - PTNBH university). Corporate strategy is important in supporting unique capabilities and environmental volatility to achieve performance. The population of this study were leaders at the PTNBH University in Central Java. The sample collection technique uses purposive sampling, namely data collection, by considering the criteria: it is a state university with a legal entity, and it has been active in structural positions for at least 1 year. The number of samples was a total of 109 respondents. The results found that unique capabilities do not directly influence university performance but directly influence corporate strategy, and environmental turbulence directly influences corporate performance and strategy. The unique capabilities possessed by universities are good capital in the increasingly fierce competition because they can be used to develop higher education strategies. The results of indirect testing (mediation) show that corporate strategy plays a mediating role between unique capabilities and environmental turbulence on the performance of PTNBH University. Future researchers can combine or add other predictor variables to generalize this research.

Abstract

UMKM diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam penyelesaian permasalahan ekonomi di Indonesia untuk menjamin kesejahteraan rakyat. UMKM merupakan salah satu sektor di Indonesia yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar dan terpenting dalam percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Persaingan bisnis saat ini menuntut pelaku bisnis untuk melakukan perubahan-perubahan ke arah yang lebih baik. Banyak pebisnis dengan berbagai macam skala usaha telah melakukan restrukturisasi dan mempersiapkan diri menjadi lebih profesional dan berorientasi pada model bisnis yang kompetitif, termasuk usaha craft souvenir. Environmental marketing atau pemasaran berbasis kelestarian lingkungan adalah perkembangan baru dalam bidang marketing, serta merupakan peluang strategis dan potensial yang memiliki multiplier effect (keuntungan ganda) baik bagi pelaku bisnis maupun bagi masyarakat umum selaku pengguna. Berberapa hasil studi menyatakan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat terhadap isu lingkungan hidup dan kesediaan masyarakat membayar lebih untuk mendapatkan produk berlabel ramah lingkungan merupakan keberhasilan dari edukasi mengenai lingkungan hidup yang telah digagas selama bertahun-tahun. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, yaitu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi UMKM cluster craft kota Semarang dalam mendesain produk souvenir yang berbahan dasar limbah plastik yang inovatif, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan citra dan penjualan produk mereka. Secara lingkup yang lebih luas, dapat memajukan potensi berkembangannya UMKM cluster craft di kota Semarang. Abstract

AbstrakPengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan kepemimpinan konservasi untuk Perangkat Pemerintahan Desa Branjang. Perangkat desa menjadi aset sumber daya yang diandalkan oleh Desa Branjang dalam membangun Desa Wisata yang ramah lingkungan. Kinerja perangkat desa menjadi nyawa bagi berjalannya roda kerja Desa Branjang. Ketidaktercapaian kinerja perangkat desa memiliki dampak yang mempengaruhi cita-cita Desa Branjang sebagai desa wisata. Keterlibatan perangkat desa ini penting dalam mendukung ketercapaian tersebut. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini yaitu Desa Branjang yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Semarang. Berdasarkan permasalahan menjalankan pekerjaan, perangkat desa kurang aktif dalam keterlibatan pekerjaan bersama-sama dengan masyarakat yang dipimpinnya. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan yaitu pelatihan simulasi, group coaching clinic, dan personal communication. Dari kegiatan tersebut membuahkan hasil yang dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat yaitu, perangkat desa menjadi lebih aktif untuk terjun ke bawah mendampingi masyarakat dalam menjalankan program-program kerja desa dengan pendekatan yang lebih persuasive dan lebih komunikatif sehingga warga merasa terbantu dan merasa dibimbing. Hal ini menjadi hal yang sangat positif bagi Desa Branjang yang sedang mengembangkan desanya kearah Desa Wisata. Kata kunci: pelatihan simulasi; kepemimpinan; konservasi; desa branjang Abstract This community service aims to improve conservation leadership capabilities for the Branjang Village Government Apparatus. Village apparatus is a resource asset that Branjang Village relies on in building an environmentally friendly Tourism Village. The performance of village officials is the lifeblood of the work of Branjang Village. The failure to achieve the performance of village officials has an impact on the aspirations of Branjang Village as a tourist village. The involvement of village officials is important in supporting this achievement. The partner in this service is Branjang Village which is located in Semarang Regency. Based on problems carrying out work, village officials are less active in engaging in work together with the community they lead. The activities that have been carried out are simulation training, group coaching clinic, and personal communication. These activities produced results that could be felt by the community, namely, village officials became more active in assisting the community in carrying out village work programs with a more persuasive and more communicative approach so that residents felt helped and guided. This is a very positive thing for Branjang Village which is currently developing its village towards a Tourism Village. Keywords: simulation training; leadership; conservation; branjang village

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pilar utama dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa yang menghadapi tantangan global, seperti ketidaksetaraan akses pendidikan, perubahan iklim, kemajuan teknologi, dan dampak sosial-ekonomi. Untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut, inovasi dalam pengelolaan dan penerapan penelitian pendidikan sangat diperlukan. Salah satu pendekatan yang efektif adalah pengembangan sistem manajemen penelitian pendidikan berkelanjutan melalui kolaborasi internasional. Kolaborasi ini memungkinkan berbagai negara dan lembaga pendidikan bekerja sama untuk mengatasi masalah pendidikan secara lebih efektif. Dalam pengembangan sistem manajemen penelitian pendidikan, tujuan utamanya adalah menghasilkan penelitian yang tidak hanya relevan dan berkualitas, tetapi juga dapat diterapkan secara efektif di berbagai negara dan memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat global. Kolaborasi internasional dalam penelitian pendidikan memiliki banyak manfaat, antara lain peningkatan kualitas penelitian melalui perspektif beragam, peningkatan kapasitas penelitian di negara berkembang, serta diseminasi hasil penelitian secara global. Beberapa bentuk kolaborasi internasional yang umum adalah program penelitian bersama, jaringan peneliti internasional, dan kemitraan pengembangan kapasitas. Selain itu, komponen penting dalam sistem manajemen penelitian pendidikan berkelanjutan mencakup perencanaan penelitian yang efektif, dengan melibatkan perencanaan dan kesepakatan antara negara-negara terkait mengenai tujuan, metodologi, dan sumber daya yang dibutuhkan. Melalui kolaborasi internasional, sistem manajemen penelitian pendidikan dapat lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan, memberikan solusi yang lebih komprehensif untuk tantangan pendidikan global.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the management and utilization of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in elementary schools in the North Sempaja sub-district. The BOS program is an educational policy designed to alleviate the financial burden on the community, especially after the rise in fuel prices. Adequate educational financing plays a crucial role in achieving the goal of quality education. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews with school principals, vice principals, treasurers, and school committees, as well as documentary data related to BOS fund management. The results show that the management of BOS funds in elementary schools has been implemented according to the existing guidelines. However, there are still some challenges in the supervision and transparency of fund usage. BOS funds are used for various school operational needs, such as purchasing textbooks, teacher training, student activities, and facility maintenance. Despite contributions from the school committee or parents, supervision of BOS fund usage still needs improvement to ensure more transparency and accountability. Therefore, it is recommended to enhance the capacity of internal supervisors, deepen the understanding of the fund usage guidelines, and tighten supervision so that BOS funds can be used optimally and appropriately.
