Abstract

The development of digital technology and cloud computing services has significantly transformed the tourism and accommodation sectors. Annisa Inn, located near Pattimura Airport in Ambon, still manages room reservations, souvenir sales, and shuttle services manually, which can lead to recording errors and service delays. This study specifically aims to design and implement a real-time reservation system model based on cloud architecture integrated with additional service features, using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development method. The resulting system integrates room reservation features, a catalog of traditional Maluku souvenirs, and shuttle services into a single web-based platform. The implementation of Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) Supabase, along with the integration of payment gateway Midtrans and email notification service Brevo, supports real-time transaction automation and user communication. The system was tested using the black-box testing method to ensure that all functions operate according to user requirements. The main contribution of this research lies in providing an integrated cloud-based system model that can serve as a reference for digitalization implementation in small and medium-scale lodging businesses.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi saat ini memberikan peluang besar dalam pelestarian kebudayaan daerah di Indonesia. Salah satu budaya yang mulai kurang dipahami oleh generasi muda adalah budaya Batak. Minimnya media digital yang menyajikan informasi budaya secara praktis menjadi penyebab menurunnya minat untuk mempelajari budaya tersebut. Aplikasi pembelajaran budaya Batak berbasis mobile ini dikembangkan untuk memperkenalkan nilai-nilai budaya Batak secara interaktif dan mudah diakses. Proses pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode Waterfall melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan framework Flutter dan basis data Firebase guna mendukung penyimpanan serta pembaruan data secara real-time. Hasil uji coba terhadap 30 pengguna menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik pada perangkat Android dengan tingkat kepuasan pengguna mencapai 90%. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana edukatif yang membantu masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, untuk mengenal, memahami, dan melestarikan budaya Batak melalui media digital yang informatif dan menarik.

Abstract

Inventory management in retail businesses has not yet fully optimized the process of goods issuance. The primary problem in managing goods issuance is the risk of loss due to products approaching their expiration dates. This research aims to design and implement a goods issuance recommendation system. The application is developed by implementing the K-Means algorithm to analyze product data. The goods issuance process can be carried out manually or based on recommendations generated through clustering. The recommendation system is integrated into a web-based inventory application. The research methodology encompasses data collection, data preprocessing using aggregation techniques, one-hot encoding for categorical features (type and nature of goods), and feature engineering on expiration dates. The K-Means algorithm is applied to group goods based on similarity. The number of clusters (K) is determined dynamically based on the amount of available data. The system automatically identifies the cluster with the nearest average expiration date as the recommendation target. Clustering results are visualized using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). This system provides end-to-end functionality, ranging from a dashboard and K-Means analysis to the execution of goods issuance. The research results conclude that the system is effective in providing actionable decisions. By prioritizing the issuance of high-risk goods, the system supports operational efficiency and minimizes losses due to expired products.

Abstract

Time management poses a critical challenge for the academic community, particularly students, in the era of digital transformation. Distractions arising from excessive device usage often compromise concentration and productivity while escalating academic stress. This study aims to develop a mobile-based application implementing the Pomodoro Technique to assist users in managing work and rest intervals in a structured manner. The system development follows the Prototyping approach, encompassing requirements analysis, interface design, system coding, and functional testing. Constructed using the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language, the application utilizes SharedPreferences for a lightweight local data storage mechanism. Black Box testing results demonstrate that key features such as the custom timer, to-do list management, and theme personalization operate according to functional specifications. The implementation of this system proves effective in providing students with a tool to independently enforce time discipline, thereby minimizing potential mental fatigue and enhancing daily productivity.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan artifisial menghadirkan peluang baru dalam peningkatan efisiensi administrasi akademik, termasuk dalam proses presensi siswa. Sistem presensi konvensional seperti barcode atau sidik jari masih dinilai kurang efektif untuk siswa sekolah dasar karena risiko kartu mudah hilang, antrian panjang, serta kegagalan pemindaian yang cukup sering terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem presensi siswa berbasis pengenalan wajah menggunakan algoritma Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang mampu bekerja secara real-time. Metode penelitian mencakup studi literatur, pengumpulan data primer berupa 320 foto wajah siswa Kelas 5 di SDN 01 Muara Enim, serta proses pengolahan data melalui normalisasi, konversi ke skala abu-abu, dan augmentasi (rotasi, flip, dan zoom) untuk meningkatkan variasi data. Model CNN kustom yang dibangun terdiri dari beberapa lapisan Convolution2D, Max Pooling, Dense, dan Dropout. Hasil sementara menunjukkan bahwa model yang diusulkan mencapai akurasi 96,8%, presisi 95,4%, dan recall 94,7%, serta memiliki performa Confusion Matrix yang lebih baik dibandingkan model pre-trained seperti VGG16 dan ResNet. Model terbaik kemudian diintegrasikan ke dalam prototipe sistem presensi yang terdiri atas aplikasi Android on-device dan website admin berbasis cloud. Temuan sementara ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan CNN berpotensi meningkatkan keakuratan, efisiensi, dan keandalan proses presensi siswa di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Educational Equity in Indonesia is categorized low, it is approved by decreased amount of facilities used in learning process. There are finded in only particular sectors like city, then in village and minorities have not been got the same right. The using of learning media is so helpful in delivering the material among to the students and can be used as dynamic teaching material so it can help in catching and understanding the material. Augmented reality is one of technological development that can be used in making learning media in android operation system with using marker as object reader such as seven wonders of the world. The using of augmented reality makes the object more factual so it can increase students’s motivation in learning. The method used in making this media is Systems Development Life Cycle method followed as 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Testing, 4) Implementation and 5) Maintenance. Testing in making learning media application seven wonders of the world is applied with using black box testing and media expert, material expert and users’s testing. The testing result presents this media can help teaching learning process with percentage average is 90.37 % got from media expert’s testing in 86,36%, material expert’ testing in 87,5%, and user’s testing in 97,27%. It means this learning media is so practiced.

Abstract

Diseases in pig livestock are a major cause of economic losses for farmers, especially when treatment is delayed, leading to disease spread and increased mortality rates. In addition, high consultation costs and limited access to animal health service centers (puskeswan) often result in farmers performing manual diagnosis, which is inaccurate and may worsen the livestock’s condition. This study develops a web-based expert system for diagnosing pig diseases using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method as a solution to assist farmers in conducting independent and early diagnosis based on observable symptoms. The system is built using Python with the Flask framework, Bootstrap for the user interface, and Supabase as a cloud-based database. The diagnosis process consists of three main stages: symptom fuzzification, rule-based fuzzy inference, and defuzzification using the centroid method. Testing was conducted on 8 types of diseases and 45 symptoms using validated test data, resulting in an accuracy of 100%, with the system consistently producing diagnostic outcomes that match the symptom inputs. The system also includes an online consultation feature with experts, enhancing accessibility and effectiveness in identifying diseases in pig livestock.

Abstract

Manual management at GreenKost in Sleman faces challenges in unstructured recording of room, tenant, and financial transaction data, along with slow and error-prone administrative processes. This study aims to develop a web-based boarding house management information system with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture using Laravel framework to optimize business processes and improve tenant services. The research methodology includes direct observation on February 17, 2025, and interviews with the boarding house owner on February 25, 2025, to identify system requirements. The system was developed using Laravel 12.x with MySQL database and Eloquent ORM, integrated with a payment gateway to support QRIS and E-Wallet payments. Main features include user management, room management with real-time status, online reservation and booking, integrated payments, admin dashboard reports, announcement management, and repair request services. Testing using black-box testing method shows all features function as expected under both normal and abnormal conditions. The research results demonstrate that an integrated digital system can automate payment verification, improve administrative efficiency, and provide ease of information access and real-time transactions for tenants.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid growth of social media has transformed how individuals communicate and manage personal information, while also creating space for oversharing that is often carried out without a clear awareness of its risks. Oversharing opens opportunities for digital crimes such as phishing, especially when users, including university students, fail to manage their privacy boundaries properly. This study aims to analyze how students’ oversharing practices on social media increase their vulnerability to phishing by using Communication Privacy Management (CPM) theory as the main framework, particularly through the concepts of boundary rules, co-ownership, and boundary turbulence. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm and involves 40 informants from four universities in Salatiga. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that most students understand the idea of oversharing, yet they continue to engage in it for social recognition and self-expression. Many of them do not have clear boundary rules in deciding who can access their personal information and to what extent it can be shared, which leads them to unintentionally disclose sensitive data such as location, identity, and daily routines.Once personal information has been shared and becomes co-owned by others, weak coordination over how that information is used can trigger boundary turbulence, creating opportunities for data misuse in the form of phishing. Theoretically, this study reinforces the relevance of CPM in explaining students’ digital privacy management; practically, it underscores the importance of digital literacy and stronger privacy policies in higher education settings. ABSTRAK Perkembangan media sosial telah mengubah cara individu berkomunikasi dan mengelola informasi pribadi, sekaligus membuka ruang bagi fenomena oversharing yang sering kali tidak disadari risikonya. Oversharing menciptakan peluang bagi tindakan kriminal digital seperti phishing, terutama ketika batas privasi tidak dikelola dengan baik oleh pengguna, termasuk mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana praktik oversharing mahasiswa di media sosial meningkatkan kerentanan terhadap phishing dengan menggunakan teori Communication Privacy Management (CPM) sebagai kerangka utama, khususnya melalui konsep boundary rules, co-ownership, dan boundary turbulence. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme, melibatkan 40 informan dari empat perguruan tinggi di Kota Salatiga. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memahami konsep oversharing, tetapi tetap melakukannya demi pengakuan sosial dan ekspresi diri. Banyak dari mereka belum memiliki boundary rules yang jelas dalam menentukan siapa yang boleh mengakses informasi pribadi dan sejauh mana informasi tersebut dibagikan, sehingga secara tidak sadar mengungkapkan data sensitif seperti lokasi, identitas, dan kebiasaan sehari-hari. Ketika informasi pribadi telah dibagikan dan menjadi co-ownership dengan orang lain, lemahnya koordinasi penggunaan informasi memicu boundary turbulence yang membuka peluang penyalahgunaan data dalam bentuk phishing. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi CPM dalam menjelaskan pengelolaan privasi digital mahasiswa serta secara praktis, menyoroti pentingnya literasi digital dan penguatan kebijakan privasi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi pengaruh modifikasi nozel udara pada tungku tempa berbahan bakar limbah oli untuk meningkatkan stabilitas nyala dan capaian suhu puncak dalam konteks praktikum mahasiswa. Dua rancangan diuji, yakni nozel tipe 1 dan tipe 2, dengan perbedaan utama pada keberadaan keluaran udara tambahan yang diarahkan ke permukaan oli. Pengujian meliputi pemantauan suhu benda kerja serta observasi kestabilan pada laju udara terukur yang sama. Hasil menunjukkan nozel tipe 1 mencapai suhu puncak 617°C pada benda kerja, sedangkan nozel tipe 2 mencapai 660°C, yang merefleksikan pemanasan lebih cepat dan stabil. Mekanisme kinerja tipe 2 dipengaruhi oleh aliran udara terarah yang memicu putaran oli dan meningkatkan pencampuran udara–bahan bakar, menghasilkan nyala lebih tinggi dan mudah dikendalikan. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa rekayasa suplai udara merupakan faktor kunci untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan limbah oli sebagai bahan bakar alternatif pada tungku tempa pendidikan, sekaligus meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran termodinamika dan sistem pembakaran luar di laboratorium.Kata kunci: tungku tempa, limbah oli,  nozel udara, stabilitas nyala, suhu puncak, produk kompor oli
