Abstract

This study examines the management practices of Situ Pasir Maung, a community-based tourist destination in Dago Village, Parungpanjang District, Bogor Regency, through the lens of Imam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali's Islamic business ethics framework. As tourism intensifies globally, ensuring that tourism management aligns with Islamic ethical principles becomes increasingly critical, particularly in Muslim-majority contexts. This research addresses two principal questions: how tourism management is practically implemented at Situ Pasir Maung, and to what extent these practices conform to Al-Ghazali's ethical dimensions. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study utilizes semi-structured interviews with five key informants, direct field observations, and documentation analysis to gather empirical data. The findings demonstrate substantial alignment between operational practices and Al-Ghazali's four core ethical principles: al-dunya mazra'at al-akhirah (the world as preparation for the hereafter), maslahah (social welfare), akhlaq al-karimah (moral virtue), and avoidance of riba (usury). The management exhibits integration of spiritual consciousness into daily operations through collective prayers and prohibition of un-Islamic entertainment, prioritizes community welfare through local employment and profit-sharing mechanisms, maintains moral excellence through transparent pricing and honest conduct, and adheres to Sharia-compliant financing through mudharabah and musyarakah arrangements. The study concludes that Al-Ghazali's classical ethical framework remains relevant and operationalizable in contemporary tourism management, offering a replicable model for sustainable Islamic tourism development that reconciles economic viability with ethical integrity and social responsibility.

Abstract

Forests are an area and part of the environmental cycle that is very important for survival because forests are areas on Earth that regulate the balance of the ecosystem. Forest fires rank second only to illegal logging in Indonesia's list of forest destruction causes. Forest fires can occur due to two factors, namely natural and human factors. Therefore, the hotspot factor that can cause forest fires is an independent variable. The population of hotspots in the West Kalimantan region in 2020 amounted to 1,416 spots. This study aims to predict the number of hotspot occurrences on land and forests that cause fires before the fires spread and are challenging to overcome or extinguish. The method to indicate the number of hotspot occurrences uses the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) methods. Modeling ARIMA (0,1,1) and SARIMA (0,1,1) (2,2,1)12 obtained Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) evaluation results for ARIMA of 6.61 while SARIMA of 7.61. The ARIMA's Mean Squared Error (MSE) evaluation value is 43.70, and the SARIMA is 58.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the ARIMA model provides excellent and accurate performance in describing the trend of hotspot events that will occur in the future with a smaller RMSE value compared to SARIMA.

Abstract

The development of digital technology drives innovation in education, including in delivering more interactive learning materials. However, the use of technology in learning at the elementary school level is still limited, as in SD Gambiranom, Sleman. This study aims to improve teachers' skills in creating animation-based learning media using Powtoon through a training program. The methods used include observation, interactive workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The evaluation results showed that 85% of participants considered the training materials clear and easy to understand, 78% felt more confident in creating animated media, and 88% considered this training useful for learning. The main obstacles faced include access to devices and the internet, limited time, and adaptation to technology. To overcome these challenges, further training, infrastructure improvements, and learning communities between teachers are recommended. Thus, Powtoon training has proven effective in improving teachers' skills, which is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and cloud computing services has significantly transformed the tourism and accommodation sectors. Annisa Inn, located near Pattimura Airport in Ambon, still manages room reservations, souvenir sales, and shuttle services manually, which can lead to recording errors and service delays. This study specifically aims to design and implement a real-time reservation system model based on cloud architecture integrated with additional service features, using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development method. The resulting system integrates room reservation features, a catalog of traditional Maluku souvenirs, and shuttle services into a single web-based platform. The implementation of Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) Supabase, along with the integration of payment gateway Midtrans and email notification service Brevo, supports real-time transaction automation and user communication. The system was tested using the black-box testing method to ensure that all functions operate according to user requirements. The main contribution of this research lies in providing an integrated cloud-based system model that can serve as a reference for digitalization implementation in small and medium-scale lodging businesses.

Abstract

Inventory management in retail businesses has not yet fully optimized the process of goods issuance. The primary problem in managing goods issuance is the risk of loss due to products approaching their expiration dates. This research aims to design and implement a goods issuance recommendation system. The application is developed by implementing the K-Means algorithm to analyze product data. The goods issuance process can be carried out manually or based on recommendations generated through clustering. The recommendation system is integrated into a web-based inventory application. The research methodology encompasses data collection, data preprocessing using aggregation techniques, one-hot encoding for categorical features (type and nature of goods), and feature engineering on expiration dates. The K-Means algorithm is applied to group goods based on similarity. The number of clusters (K) is determined dynamically based on the amount of available data. The system automatically identifies the cluster with the nearest average expiration date as the recommendation target. Clustering results are visualized using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). This system provides end-to-end functionality, ranging from a dashboard and K-Means analysis to the execution of goods issuance. The research results conclude that the system is effective in providing actionable decisions. By prioritizing the issuance of high-risk goods, the system supports operational efficiency and minimizes losses due to expired products.
