Abstract

Abstract: This research is caused by low study outcome mathematic lesson student class fifth grade students state elementary school 188 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes subject Mathematic fifth grade using Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach. Object of this research is student class fifth grade amount 34 person. Metode of this research using Classroom Action Research (CAR),was carried out in two cycle. The result of research mathematic learning outcomes is increase. Activities of teacher in the first meeting of first cycle of the percentage 75%, the second meeting of first cycle had become 84,14% . Furthermore, the first meeting of the second cycle activity score of 89,28% of teacher increased, the second meeting increased to 92,85%. The result of analysis student activity in the first cycle to 71,42%, 75% in the second meeting increased the student already understand this cycle of learning activity with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. The second cycle student activity increased 82,14%. At the second meeting increased to 89,28%.. The results showed that the average value of learning outcomes mathematic subjects in the basic score is 71,02 and 76,17 in the first cycle, and the second cycle get 80,58 score. Based on the results of this study is concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can improve learning outcomes Mathematic subject of fifth grade students state elementary school 188 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach (CTL) and Mathematiclearning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the gender issue presented in pre-service elementary teacher-designed mathematics picture books (BBM). Thirteen BBMs are analysed based on male and female characters presented in the titles, pictures in the cover, main characters, and a number of pictures, conversations, and words in book contents. The findings show that the male characters are presented 1.79 times more often than the female characters. The numbers of pictures, conversations, and words in the book contents for males is 1.79; 1.99; and 1.79 consecutively times more often than the female characters. Meanwhile, each of the two BBMs presents only male or female characters. The implications of this study indicate that gender is still an important issue in BBM being developed.

Abstract

Abstract : This study is based on the low learning outcomes of students especially on subjects IPS. This happens because at the time of the learning process students are less interested with the material being taught because the teacher is still using lecture methods and less conducive class circumstances, less lighting, slightly narrow and less well organized that makes students become bored and unmotivated to learn. The application of quantum teaching model is expected to be influential in improving students' IPS learning outcomes. This research is a research with quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of quantum teaching model to the learning outcomes of IPS students of class III State Elementary School 110 Pekanbaru in the experimental class and to know the difference in learning outcomes of IPS students of third grade students of Elementary School 110 Pekanbaru between experimental class and control class. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 110 Pekanbaru with class IIIA as control class treated with ordinary learning and class IIIB as experimental class treated by applying quantum teaching model. The result of the research shows that there is influence of the application of quantum teaching model to IPS learning result and there are difference of IPS learning achievement between experimental class and control class. In the experimental class there was an increase in IPS learning outcomes from the pretest average of 61.91 to 75.58 in the posttest test with an average gain of 0.38 medium category. While the control class had an increase of 62.05 on pretest to 67.64 in the final test (postest) with an average gain of 0.12 low category. In this research, it is known that there is influence of the application of quantum teaching model is strong enough to the learning result of IPS of third grade students of State Elementary School 110 Pekanbaru in experiment class with coefficient of determination 0,53. The quantum teaching model influences the IPS learning result by 53.29% while the other 46.71% is influenced by other factors, it can come from inside the students (intern) and from outside the students themselves (extern).Key Word : Quantum Teaching Model, IPS Learning Result

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the fact that is found in the class VA SDN 005 Siak Hulu, which shows the results of learning in IPA is still relatively low. Formulation the problem is this research is : “Docs the application of cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) to model can improve learning outcome in IPA students class VA SDN 005 Siak Hulu?”. This research aims to improve learning outcomes in IPA students class VA SDN 005 Siak Hulu with application of cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS). The hypothesis og this study is that if applied learning model cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) it can improve learning outcomes in IPA student class VA SDN 005 Siak Hulu. This study was conducted in SDN 005 Siak Hulu in April 2016. This from is research is classroom action research (PTK) are planned as much as two cycle. The subjects were students of class VA SDN 005 Siak Hulu academic year 2015/2016 which amounted to 22 people consisting of 11 men and 11 women. Based on the results of research of teacher activity sheet seen rising each meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 70%, the second meeting of the first cycle 75%, at the fourth meeting of the second cycle of 85%, and the fifth meeting of the second cycle of 95%. Student activity observation sheet also increased at every meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 60%, the second meeting of the first cycle of 70%, at the fourth meeting of the second cycle of 80%, and the fifth meeting of the second cycle of 95%. Mastery learning outcomes to repeat at first cycle increased 24,73% from the base score of 61,59 to 76,82. In the second cycle increased by 33,58% to 97,50. The average value in the base score 61,59, UH then the first cycle to 76,82 with an increase of 15,23. Where as the second cycle of the average value of UH become 35,91 with an increase of 97,50. So that research result are consistent with the hypothesis.Key Word : Learning Model Cooperative Type Think Pair Share (TPS)

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students Kulim jaya 007 District of Lubuk jaya in the academic year 2014/2015. Subjects in this study were students in fourth grade Kulim jaya State 007 Kulim jaya District of Lubuk Batu Jaya Indragiri the number of students 28 students, consisting of 13 men and 15 women. This study is a Class Action Research (Classroom Actions Research) which comprises two cycles. Based on the results of research and data analysis known that an increase in the percentage of activity for teachers to get an average of 79.17% success criteria very well. Implementation of the second cycle of activities for teachers to get an average of 91.03% success criteria very well.Implementation of the first cycle of activity students gain an average of 66.67% sufficient with both criteria. Implementation of the second cycle of activity students gain an average of 95.83% success criteria very well. before implementation of cooperative learning model type Make A Match was 65.25 from 28 people who follow replicates only 12 people were completely and 16 students have not completed the completeness percentage of 42.86% with less qualification. In the first cycle UH 1 daily value increased to 68.57 students who have increased as much as 17.85%, the number of students who completed 17 students. In the second cycle increased the average value of as much as 25% to 70. The implementation of the UH 2 daily value increacentage with a percentage of 89,29%. Class declared complete when it reaches ≥ 80 of the number of students who reach the specified KKM is ≥ 70. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model Make A MatchStudent can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students Kulim Jaya 007 Kulim Jaya District of Lubuk Batu Jaya.Keywords: Make A Match, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: Background problem in this research is the lack of science student learning outcomes, which can be seen in students' grades. The research was conducted in Pekanbaru. In the second semester of the 2015/2016 Academic Year. With this research subject is class IV A SDN 165 Pekanbaru by the number of students 37 people. The number of students who do not reach KKM many as 16 people with a percentage of 43.24%, while the number of students who reached the KKM many as 21 people with a percentage of 56.75% with the average - average grade 65.45. KKM has been established in schools, 73. According to this problem, this research uses classroom action research by applying direct instructional model. The learning result obtained from UH before action with value - average rose 65.45 at UH I cycle I with value - average into 76.62 (17.06% increase). At UH II increases the value - average 81.08 (23.88% increase). Individually completeness of the original base score 21 increases in the first cycle were 28 people and the second cycle increased to 32 people. Classical completeness on the basis of the percentage score of 56.75% with a category is not finished, the second cycle of 75.67% with a category is not exhaustive, and the second cycle increased to 86.49% with the category completely. The application of direct learning model can improve the performance of teachers, so as to improve learning outcomes IPA A fourth grade students of SDN 165 Pekanbaru. Keywords: Direct Learning Model, Learning Outcomes IPA

Abstract: The problem in this research is in the science learning value of student learning outcomes very rendahmasi bannyak child who likes to talk with sebangkunya, do not want to do the assignment of teachers, students do not want to answer a question that is given by the teacher and did not want to ask if it does not understand , Very obvious from the problems of the students, how the learning outcomes of their students. As a result, students can not absorb the lessons well. Based on these problems it is necessary to find a way to solve those problems.. Subjects in this study were students of class IV Elementary School 003 Lake Juang academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 22 people. The research was conducted in the second cycle of each II meetings in the first cycle as well as in the second cycle and the second time the end of Deuteronomy. Instrument collecting data in this study is the observation sheet rublik teachers and students as well as teacher and student activity assessment tests daily test cycle I and II. This research was conducted with the form of classroom action research (PTK), aims to improve the results bejajar Elementary School fourth grade students 003 Lake Juang in science lessons. These results indicate bashwa Quantum models Teachingdapat improve learning outcomes IPA. This can be seen from the Improvement of learning outcomes of prior to the implementation of the model Quantum Teaching is 56.40 from 22 people who follow replicates only 6 complete and 16 incomplete with persentase72,8% with less category. At UH I Cycle I hariansiswa value increased to 70.68 sebanyak65% who have increased the number of students who tuntas12 people. In the second cycle increased the average value of as much as 26.9% to 76.59. Students who complete mencapai18 people. Class can be declared complete when reaching 70 of the number of students who reach the specified KKM is 70. It can be concluded that Quantum Teaching learning model can improve learning outcomes IPA Elementary School fourth grade students 003 Lake District of Lubuk Batu Juang Jaya.Key word. Base about problem research do that action brazes with learnings model implement Inkuiri who aims to increase IPS'S studying result student brazes IV. SD Country 009 Binio School Year Dignity 2014/2015. This research is executed deep two cycles, whereabouts on each cycle it consisting of two-time appointment gazes to show face and once daily dry run. With be applied Model Inkuiri's Learning, therefore gets to increase IPS'S studying result student brazes IV. SDCountry 009 Binio Dignities on Technological formative material Production, Communication and Transportation. It can at see of acquired studying result student on base score which is with thoroughness percentage 43,75%, with average 61,56, worked up on i. cycle with thoroughness percentage 68,75% by average 72,96. Abstract

Abstract. Based on the observation and documentation writers do, that the class III student learning outcomes SDN 112 Pekanbaru lower than that encountered symptoms in the subject, which is of 40 students, only 22 (55.00%) were completely or scored above KKM 70. the remaining 18 (45.00%) have not been completed, with the average value grade of 68.23. This research was conducted in SDN 112 Pekanbaru are in class III, while the timing of the study was conducted in the first semester of Academic Year 2016-2017. Design of this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). As the subjects in this study were teachers and students of class III SDN 112 Pekanbaru, with the number of 40 students, consisting of 23 men and 17 women. Based on the results of research and pembahsan it can be concluded that the application of the learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) can improve student learning outcomes SDN 112 class III Pekanbaru. The study concluded that the application of the learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) can increase the activity of teachers and students. Application of learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) can improve student learning outcomes visible from basic score with an average of 68.23 increased in the first cycle to 72.00 ie by the thoroughness of 29 students or 73.00% and the second cycle increased to 76.75 or completeness 90.00% with an increase of 21:46%.Key Words: Think Talk Write (TTW), learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the low grade of third grader’s mathematics learning in SDN 164 Pekanbaru, seen from minimum criteria of mastery that defined by school policy is 75. 21 students of 34 in total did not achieve minimum criteria, with average grade value is 63,82. This condition is caused by the teacher learning method is lack of variaton. Beside, teacher does not use creative media in learning process. Those things make students lack of motivation and barely understand what they learn. Due to these issues, the action taken is cooperative learning using napier bone props. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ mathematics grade. The form of this research is a class action research. The subjects are III class students in SDN 164 Pekanbaru, consist of 34 students where there are 18 male and 16 female. Research instruments are test sheets, teacher and students observation sheets, and documentation files. The results showed improvement from each cycle. Teacher’s activities in first cycle was 62,5%, and increase to 66,7%. In second cycle was 83,33%, and increase to 91,7. Students’ activities in first cycle was 62,50%, and increase to 66,7%. In second cycle was 79,16%, and increase to 87,5%. Students’ average grade showed improvement too. Base grade was 63,82 increased to 66,17 on first test, and increased to 78,23 on second test. Based on these results, can be concluded that application of cooperative learning using napier bone media can improve students’ science grade of III class in SDN 164 Pekanbaru.Keyword : Cooperative learning, napier bone props, mathematics grade
