Abstract

Abstract: The research is aimed at 1) finding out the male and female students' personal problems; 2) finding out the male and female students' emotional problems; 3) finding out the male and female students’ learning problems; 4) finding out the male and female students' familial problems; 5) finding out the male and female students' social problems; 6) finding out the overall problems faced by male and female students; 7) finding out the most dominant category of students' problems in general. The subjects of the research are 200 11th and 12th grade students of Kuok State Islamic Senior High School. The sampling technique is the total one, therefore the entire population were taken as samples. There are no greater written subjects or groups because entire individuals in a group are involved directly, hereafter this kind of sampling technique is called total sampling (Ibnu Jahar, 1999). The research results showed that: 1) more female students experienced personal problems than male students. While, the personal problems experienced by male students were emotional ones; 2) more male students experienced emotional problems than female students, in other words female students experienced less emotional problems; 3) more male students experienced learning problems than female students, in other words female students experienced less learning problems; 4) more male students experienced social problems than female students in other words female students experienced less social problems; 5) more male students experienced familial problems than female students in other words female students experienced less familial problems; 6) in general, male and female students experienced more personal and social problems. The personal problems experienced by male and female students caused their difficult learning concentration; 7) the problems experienced by students were generally categorized moderate.Keywords: Students’ problems

Abstract

Abstract: Prosocial behavior is any action taken or planned to help others, regardless of the helper's motives. Prosocial behavior is positive behavior that benefits or makes other people's physical or psychological conditions better, which is carried out on a voluntary basis without expecting rewards. This study aims to determine the development of prosocial behavior in adolescents in Indonesia, to determine the factors that influence adolescent prosocial behavior, forms of prosocial behavior, and efforts to increase prosocial behavior in adolescents. This research is a literature study research. The instrument used in this research is a combination of national and international journals. Data analysis in this study used qualitative. The results showed that among teenagers this prosocial behavior was quite developed because of the efforts made by family, teachers, and peers. This prosocial behavior has been improved in schools where teachers have used services and guidelines in improving this prosocial behavior. Which is in the process of increasing peer group is also one of the factors that influence the development of prosocial behavior in adolescents.Key Words: Literature study, Prosocial behavior

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of cognitive restructuring techniques on the decline in academic procrastination of students at the Vocational High School Health Pro-Skill Indonesian Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with the experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the scale of student academic procrastination measurement which consisted of 47 items before validation, and after validation obtained 34 valid items with validity 0.509 and reliability 0.929. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having high levels of academic procrastination. The data analysis technique used is non parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study prove that the research hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, from the results of the Rank Spearman test, r = 0.793, while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.628. Thus there is the influence of cognitive restructuring techniques on student academic procrastination by 63% in Vocational High School Health Pro-Skill Indonesian Pekanbaru. From the results of the Wilcoxon test obtained (Asymp.Sig) 0.018 <0.05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of student academic procrastination before and after cognitive restructuring techniques are given.Key Words: Cognitive Restructuring, Academic Procrastination

Abstract

Abstract :One of the efforts that individuals care able to live and recognize thecharacters them characters them selves with all the potential that exist and is able todistingorsh a good value and a bad score and can make their choice. So that they cantake necessary action for the improvement of themselves and their environment bylearning the value of character and also studied three aspects of thecharacter(tolerance, care for environment, social care) that can he indepedendently andincrease empathy and concern for the environment. One can say it the character hi hasmanaged to absorb the values and beliefs. Covication people desired, and serve asa amoral in this life. Therefore researchers feel the need to develop a material on theformation of character values in aspects toleranse, care for environment , social care.Which is expected to he used by guidance and counseling teachers to teach theirstudents. There materials were prepared using the methods of research anaddevelopment (R&D).as for the purpose of research is as follows.1)arragement of thematerials on the formation of characters values in aspects toleranse, care forenvironment, and social care necessary for SMK student in terms of clarity, systematic,image support freshness completeness of the materials and support for the materialsand support for imagges or video and games.2)know the quality of the materialproduced. This material consist of understanding the character, the values of characterprincipples the factors that influence the formation of character tolerance, care forenvironment, social care. The result of the development of these materials shows thequality of the materials which is derived in the categori “Good”.with the acquisition ofthe skor is 4.24 for all aspects of assessment.Keywords: Character, Environment Care and Social Care.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a single parent street children's educationmodule in terms of clarity of material, completeness of the material, suitability of thedelivery of material, image support, and systematic material, the research method usedis Research and Development (R&D) which is the research method used for produceproduct. The steps used are (1) Potential and problems (2) Data Collection (3) ProductDesign (4) Design Validation (5) Design Revision (6) Manufacture of products. Theinstrument in this research is the validation sheet literature study, while the validatorsin this study are 2 Guidance and counseling lecturers and 2 Guidance and counselingteachers. The results showed that the single parent parent street child education modulewas compiled about being a strong single parent in carrying out family functions interms of each aspect, namely (1) Quality in the Material Completeness aspect was 4.25included in the "Very Complete" category (2 ) Quality in the aspect of material clarity is4.5 based on the quality criteria included in the category of "Very Clear" (3) Quality inthe aspect of suitability in delivering material is 4.25 based on the quality criteriaincluded in the category of "Very Suitable" (4) Quality aspects in systematic material is4 based on quality criteria included in the category of "Systematic" (5) Quality aspectsof image support are 4 based on quality criteria included in the "Support" category. Allaspects of street parent's single parent education module material can be said to meetthe expected criteria with the acquisition of a value of 4.2 so that it is included in the"Good" category. Thus the material of the street parent's single parent educationmodule can be said to be feasible.Key Words: Module development, Single parent street children

Abstract

Abstract: The development of technology is inevitable and even the development of social media. 39% of the largest results in the survey, social media users are young people aged 16-21 years, not to mention among students also follow its development. So this study entitled "The Use of Social Media and Social Sensitivity Students in SMA N 12 Pekanbaru". The purpose of research is to know the use of social media and know the social sensitivity of students who use social media. Sample study 178 people. Quantitative descriptive research method. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis technique percentage. The results show that many students access social media every day. Social media used Instagram, LINE and WhatApp. The duration of accessing social media is more than five hours per day, four hours per day and three hours per day. The condition of accessing social media is before bed, get together with friends, certain events and wake up. Social media used by students to display self-image is by dividing the writing about the feelings and things they do, get entertainment like looking at the history shared by friends. Student social sensitivity is high in awareness of social conditions and the ability to respond to social conditions such as knowing current issues, helping others and thinking about the safety of others. From the research results obtained many students who use social media categorized medium that has a high social sensitivity. Recommendation: To parents and teachers to pay attention to the use of children's social media, so that children can use social media wisely and also help children develop social sensitivity. To the next researcher, to be able to examine some other variables and with other methods such as experiments or correlations.Key Words: Social media, Social sensitivity

Abstract

Abstract : Problems experienced by students in the implementation of education in schools influenced by factors in and outside himself. One of the problems that hinder the process in learning is the low self-confidence of students. In this regard schools play an important role in improving students' self-confidence. But so far the school has not shown any effort to handle it. Therefore it is necessary to develop a material about Student Self Confidence that is expected to be used by guidance and counseling teachers to be submitted to students. This material is prepared using research and development (R & D) methods. The purpose of this study is 1) The creation of Student Self Confidence material in terms of clarity, systematics, image support, update and completeness of the material and support games / video 2) To know the quality of material produced. This material is validated by the lecturers 1 & 2, teachers Counseling Guidance and 38 students SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. This material is tested to students with allocation time 3 hours lesson (3 x 45 '). The results of this material development show the quality of the material produced is in the category of "Very Good", with a score of 4.35 for all aspects of the assessment.Keywords: Modul Of Guidance and Counseling, Self Confidence.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this researchs to develop a single parent street children's education module in the MALL SKA Pekanbaru red light area in terms of clarity of material, systematic material, image support, matching time in the delivery of material, and completeness of the material. In this study using the lowest type of research and development which conducts research but is not followed by field testing. After many revisions and suggestions by supervisors I and II, the education module was validated by validators from two Guidance and Counseling Lecturers at Riau University and two Guidance and Counseling teachers. From the values and suggestions that have been given by the validator, the results of calculations for the clarity of the material are obtained values that fall into the clear category with a score of 3.75, for systematic aspects of the material to get a value including the systematic category with a score of 3.75, for the aspect of image support obtain a value that is categorized as very good with a score of 4, 25, for the aspect of time suitability in the delivery of material to get a value that includes a category that matches a score of 3, 75, and aspects of the completeness of the material get a value that includes a complete category with a score of 4.0. Whereas for all aspects of material assessment, the material compiled has fulfilled the expected criteria by obtaining a score of 3.90 which is included in the good category so that it is appropriate to use. The validator also provides suggestions to add verbatim to the module, add the source to the image, remove enough words with the word single parent, add goals and evaluate to the module.Keywords: Module, Education, Single Parent

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to know the effect of outbound on student self confidence level of the first grade student of SMPN 4 pekanbaru year 2016/2017. This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Pekanbaru from March 2 until May 2017. The method of this research used true-experimental design with pre test-post test control group desin pattern. The subject of this research was the first grade student of SMPN 4 Pekanbaru who have low confidence. The instrument of data collection used is questionnaire which likert scale. The data analysis technique were used is quantitative data analysis that is used statistc. Based on the result of t test of correlated sample, there were significant different to the self confidence level of students before and after given outbound, the result of calculation obtained that thitung -16.916 < ttabel -2.052. Furthermore, the result of t test sample calculation is not correlated obtained thitung -8.984 < ttabel -2,005, if it is compared between experimental group and control group there was significant difference of outbound implementation toward student confidence level.Key Words : Outbound, Level of Self Confidence.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of assertive training therapy on students' social interactions in communicating at Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of measurement of social interaction of students in communication consisting of 53 items before the validity, and after the validity obtained 29 valid items with validity of 0.396 and reliability of 0.812 The subjects of this study were 7 students of Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School who were identified as having low levels of social interaction in communication. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. To that end, it can be concluded that there are differences in scores of students' social interactions in communicating before and after being given treatment in the form of assertive training. From the results of Rank Spearman test obtained r = 0.778 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.605. Thus there is the effect of assertive training therapy on social interaction of students in communication by 60,5% in Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School.Key Words: assertive training, student social interaction in communication
