Abstract

Abstract: Behavior addiction watching Korean drama is an overreaction that arises from one's self towards Korean art. The phenomenon that occurs among students is the students who use the Korean language during the learning process, during the spare time students use to watch Korean drama, some students invite teachers to use Korean language and students collect accessories related to korea. The purpose of this research is to know the description of behavior of student addiction level about drama korea and to know picture of student character value. This research uses quantitative method with descriptive approach. The sample in this study were 105 students of class X and class XI consisting of male and female students. The results of this study indicate that the addiction to watching Korean dramas is at the low category level (71%). Someone said to be addicted to watching Korean dramas can be seen in the behavior of salience, mood modification, conflict, tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, and relapse. The student character score in this study was at the good category level (77%). Abstract

Abstract: Modules are printed teaching materials designed for students tostudy independently. These media are often called independent teaching materials.Teachers do not teach or teach their students directly, but this module is sufficient. Thepurpose of this study is to find out the developmental procedure and results of thevalidity of the Quranic therapeutic module of surah Al-Hujurat Ayat 11-13 to reducesocial prejudice. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research which isa method of research and development can be defined as a scientific way to research,plan, produce and test the validity of the product that has been produced. After goingthrough the stages of study and analysis and review, the validity of the development ofthe Quran therapy module Surah Al-Hujurat Ayat 11-13 to reduce social prejudice isdivided into five aspects of evaluation, namely physical / appearance, introductoryaspects, content aspects, task aspects, summary aspects. Based on the evaluation resultsof the learning module qualification material achieved an average score of 84.25%. Abstract

Abstract: At this time many students and students are dating so that it has an impact on the learning process of these students, besides that dating behavior exacerbates the mental health of students in school which can interfere with their minds and minds. This study aims to determine the mental health of dating students and to determine the mental health of students in terms of psychological aspects and social aspects. This research is also useful as a contribution to the thoughts of the duinia of education and can increase the treasury of science, especially in the science of guidance and counseling related to the mental health of students who are dating. Descriptive research method with a quantitative approach to understanding the mental health behavior of students dating. The population of this study were all class X students who were dating with a sample of all students who were dating at school. The data used is data about the mental health of students who are dating using an instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire. Based on the psychological aspects of mental health, the dating students are categorized as not healthy and based on the social aspects of mental health the dating students are categorized as healthy.Keywords: Mental Health, Dating

Abstract

Abstract: Environmental education creates characters of environmental caring which will be have by somebody to repair and to manage the environment and beneficial without damage the real condition, to maintain and to preserve the environment so that there will be continuous benefits. The effort to foster the character of the students’ environmental awareness was in line with the Adiwiyata’s program. The purpose of this study is to know the levels of students’ awareness before and after group counseling, to know the difference in awareness levels and to know the effect of group counseling to students’ environmental awareness with the Adiwiyata’s school. The research was conducted to the first grade of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research was pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test. The data collection a technique was used questionnaires. The Percentages, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and Spearman’s rank were used to analyzing the data. The sample was 20 students. The result of this research showed that there were differences in the levels of students’ environmentall awareness before and after and there was a significant improves the group counseling in environment of Adiwiyata School.Keywords: Students’ Awareness, Adiwiyata’s School Environment, Group Counseling

Abstract

Abstract: Every child who has stepped into adolescence will undergo a process of developmental tasks of adolescents. In undergoing the development of his duties many teenagers who have difficulty because the teenager feels that he is able to determine and keep himself, do not want to be regulated and want to know everything, so arise aggressive and passive behaviors, but also there are students who successfully run all the tasks development so formed Assertive behavior. This research analyzed the assertive behavior of junior high school students from ethnic Malays, Minang, Java, Batak, and Mixed. The purpose of this research is to know the assertive behavior of students from ethnic Malays, Minang, Java, Batak, and Mixed. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and data analysis using percentage techniques. The sample in this study amounted to 200 students. The results of assertive behavior of students from ethnic Malays, Minang, Javanese, Batak, and Mixed are both in the high category, although the percentage of assertive behavior of each ethnic group differ in achievement percentage. The percentage achievement, ethnic Minang is higher percentage compared to Javanese ethnic whereas Javanese ethnicity is higher percentage than Mixed ethnic, and Mixed ethnicity is higher percentage than Batak ethnic, Batak ethnicity is higher percentage compared to ethnic Malays, but all of them are in high category.Keywords: Assertive Behavior, Junior High School Students, Ethnicity

Abstract

Abstract: The progress of the times that have occurred affects various aspects of human life, one of which is in a marriage. In a marriage there will be various problems that require maturity in handling so that a marriage is not seen as mere material readiness, but also mental readiness and maturity to wade through it. Usually the condition where a partner who is unable to resolve and overcome the problems that occur can cause various other problems that can lead to family divorce. This is caused by married decision making that is too concise and lacks consideration for time efficiency so it does not solve the problem but accumulates problems with other problems. Therefore, the authors are interested in conducting research on this matter. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which students' perceptions of marriage conducted by students, seeing the phenomena that exist in the faculty and teacher education sciences at the University of Riau, there were several students who had married and continued their studies. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. Analyze data using a percentage formula. The sample in this study was 146 students. The results of this study are the perceptions of students who do marriages among students quite well because they can be more mature and independent and quickly get offspring and do not even affect the study being undertaken. The conclusion of this study shows the students' perceptions of marriage among students, namely: 1) cognitive aspects of marriage among students is the knowledge of marriage to prevent premarital sexual behavior; the meaning of marriage to establish a relationship; the benefits of marriage teach how to be responsible; 2) the affective aspects of marriage among students are feelings of fun and motivation in study; easier to adapt; 3) the conative aspect of marriage among students does not affect the studies being undertaken.Key Words: Student Perceptions, Marriage Among Students

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out about the basic concepts of theory, know the factors that affect and how to increase the motivation of achievement of teenage students. The research method used is literature review. Strategies and steps used for literature study research are (1) Having general ideas on research topics, (2) Finding supporting information, (3) Emphasizing focus (expand/narrowing) and organizing reading materials, (4) Finding and finding reading materials, (5) Reorganizing materials and making research notes, (6) Reviewing and reorganizing reading materials, (7) Reorganizing reading materials and writing. The research object used is a teenage student. The results of this study show that the basic concepts of theory about motivation excel, among others: Grand theory by David McClelland, McGregor Theory, two-factor theory Frederick Herzberg, and McShane theory. Factors that influence motivation include: Self-Efficacy, Self-Efficacy, Self-concept, parental support, rewarding, student involvement, interpersonal communication, housing, school status, poverty, and tribal gaktor. Ways that can be done in improving the motivation of achievement include: the application of Symbolic Modeling techniques, Cooperative methods Type Student Teams Achievement Dividions (Stad), Teams Games, Solution- Focus Brief Group Counseling, guidance symbolic modeling technique group, use of cheerful cards, Handout activities, behavioral counseling Modeling Techniques, application of Peer Tutoring equipped with Macromedia Flash animation, providing positive Reinforcement, and Outbound activities.Key Words: Literature Studies, Motivation to Excel, Teen Students

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effects of self management techniques in reducing the aggressive behaviour of students in SMKN 4 Pekanbaru. The quantitative research method was used in this study and the research was designed based on the one-group pretest – posttest design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the aggressive behavioural measurement scale consisting of 50 and 35 items before and after validation respectively. The validity score was calculated to be 0.396 and the reliability score was obtained as 0.948. The subject was determined by using purposive sampling technique, and it was obtained that 7 students in SMK 4 Pekanbaru were identified as having a high level of aggressive behaviour. The data were analysed by using the non-parametric statistical technique and were tested by using the Wilcoxon analysis test. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.017. Because the value of 0.017 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". To that end, it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of aggressive behavior before and after treatment given in the form of self management techniques. The results of the study showed that the there are differences in the scores of aggressive behaviour before and after treatment, in the form of self management techniques. Based on the calculations that have been done, the 71% Pre-test is in the very high category and 29% in the high category. Post-test was 71% in the medium category and 29% in the low category. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that the technique of self management can reduce the aggressive behavior of students of SMKN 4 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Self management, Aggressive behaviour

Abstract

Abstrak: The current phenomenon of addiction to watching Korean drama has an impact on self-control (student self control), such as students being forgetful of time when watching, not focusing on learning, getting nervous when not watching. Therefore, researchers feel interested to conduct research entitled Behavior Addicted Watchhing Korean Drama and Self Control (student control) students. This study aims to determine; 1) An image of addiction behaviorwatching Korean drama; 2) Description of self-control (self control) students in SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. The method of this study was descriptive with the subjects of study of addicted students watching Korean dramas with high categories who watched <6 episodesand found 22 students as subjects. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and data analysis technique technique percentage. The result of this study; 1) Students always feel dissatisfied just watching 2 episodes of Korean drama, students often spend a lot of time watching Korean drama than any other activity, students always get carried away after watching Korean drama, students always spend the day watching Korean dramas, students always have spare drama to be watched, students always goback to watch despite long stops; 2) Self control students who are addicted to watching Korean dramas that students do not force themselves to watch when sick, according to Korean drama student are not contrary to his belief, students always think before acting and students always finish the task before piling up. The conclusion of this study is the behaviour of addiction watching Korean dramas are in the moderate category with self control in the medium category. Suggestions for future researchers are expected to conduct further research from several schools in order to collect complete data.Key Word: Addiction, Korean Drama, Self Control

Abstract

Abstract: Social competence is an effective response from someone to various life situations or the ability to interact effectively with the environment. This study aims to determine the effect of assertive training techniques on improving social competency of students in Pekanbaru Muhammadiyah 1 Middle School. This type of research uses quantitative research with an experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study is a social competency measurement scale consisting of 38 item statements. The subjects of this study were 7 students who had low social competence. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using Wilcoxon analysis test. The results of the study prove that the research hypothesis is accepted. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.017. Because the value of 0.017 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in social competence scores before and after treatment in the form of assertive training techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Social competence of students before being given an assertive training technique is included in the low category and after being given assertive training techniques most are in the high category. (2) There is a significant difference in the level of social competence of students before and after being given strict training techniques. (3) There is a significant effect of assertive training techniques to improve students' social competence.Key Words: Assertive Training, Social Competence.
