Abstract

Kemampuan manajemen merupakan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki kepala sekolah dalam menggunakan kegiatan pengelolaan administrasi sekolah, meliputi kemampuan perencanaan, kemampuan organisasi, kemampuan pelaksanaan, dan kemampuan evaluasi. Peneltian bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi manajerial kepala dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif menggunakan deskriptif. Instrumen dalam penelitian yaitu angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode interview atau wawancara kepada pihak yang secara langsung memiliki hubungan atau pihak yang berkepentingan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, pengumpulan data pada penelitian dilakukan melalui pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, pengawas dan guru pada SD dibawah Gugus Bungong Jeumpa Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa proses manajemen sekolah, terlihat bahwa kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar telah meningkat, dan kepala sekolah telah menunjukkan berbagai kualitas kepemimpinan yang efektif, termasuk kepribadian yang kuat, kemampuan mengambil keputusan dan keterampilan komunikasi yang sangat baik, dedikasi yang sepenuh hati. , dll. Berperan sebagai pemimpin sekolah; mendorong guru agar konsisten menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diajarkannya; menerapkan model kepemimpinan yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan sekolah.

Abstract

Pada abad ke-21, proses pembelajaran harus terus mengikuti kemajuan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan untuk menciptakan suasana kelas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman. Namun, sampai saat ini, proses pembelajaran masih jarang menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran terutama ditingkat taman kanak-kanak, sehingga siswa hanya belajar dengan cara konvensional dan mendapatkan hasil belajar yang buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan video pembelajaran berkearifan local Aceh, (2) menguji validitas video pembelajaran berorientasi pendidikan karakter, (3) mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan video pembelajaran berkearifan local Aceh. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) rancang bangun video pembelajaran menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, (2) Pengembangan video pembelajaran ini valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli aspek kelayakan isi meraih rata-rata 4,8 (kategori sangat layak). Aspek kebahasaan meraih rata-rata 4,6 (kategori sangat layak). Aspek sajian meraih rata-rata 4,7 (kategori sangat layak). Aspek kegrafisan meraih rata 4,8 (kategori sangat layak). Secara keseluruhan rata-rata yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli materi adalah 4,6 (kategori sangat layak)

Abstract

Differentiated instruction has emerged as a pivotal approach to addressing the diverse learning needs of elementary school students, particularly in enhancing mathematical concept comprehension. This study aims to investigate the impact of differentiated instruction on improving mathematical understanding among students with varying abilities in elementary schools. Utilizing a literature review method, this research synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed journals indexed in SINTA and Scopus over the past five years. The results reveal that differentiated teaching strategies, such as live worksheet-based e-LKPD, educational games like INDITGO-MATH, and learning stations, have significantly increased student comprehension by up to 32%. Furthermore, these strategies have been effective in boosting motivation and engagement, contributing to an inclusive and adaptive learning environment. Despite the evident benefits, challenges such as limited teacher training and preparation time persist (Pamungkas, 2024). To overcome these barriers, the integration of digital learning resources and intensive teacher training has proven to be a feasible solution. This study recommends that elementary schools implement differentiated instruction more widely, supported by adequate resources and continuous professional development. The findings underscore the importance of developing interactive learning materials that align with differentiated teaching to further optimize learning outcomes across varying student abilities.

Abstract

Basic immunization is one of the main pillars in the effort to control infectious diseases, which is important for the health of children from an early age. In order to achieve optimal health, immunization helps prevent diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, and measles that can cause serious complications or even death. The immunization program implemented at Posyandu Terkini 1 in Mario Village has a positive impact on public health, with an immunization coverage rate showing 97.90% in the South Sulawesi region. This study focuses on factors that influence the utilization of basic immunization at Posyandu Terkini 1 in Mario Village. In a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach, researchers involved the entire population consisting of 89 infants and toddlers in Mario Village through a total sampling method. Using the Chi Square test, this study identified factors related to the utilization of immunization services, namely maternal knowledge, maternal attitudes, family support, and support from health workers. The results showed that these factors significantly influenced the utilization of basic immunization, while access to immunization services did not show a significant relationship. This research makes an important contribution to the development of public health policies, particularly in increasing community participation in immunization programs. With a more integrated approach, particularly in educating the community about the benefits of immunization and the importance of support from families and health workers, it is hoped that immunization coverage in villages will be broader and more equitable. These findings will be published in the Jurnal Kesehatan (Health Journal) to provide further insights for relevant stakeholders in improving the quality of immunization services. Furthermore, this study also emphasizes the importance of the active role of health workers in educating parents, especially mothers, about the benefits of immunization and the vaccine schedule.

Abstract

This program was conducted to improve the competencies of elementary school teachers at the Laboratory School of Universitas Negeri Malang through the use of children’s storybooks as cross-subject learning media. A total of 25 teachers, teaching Javanese, Physical Education, English, Indonesian, Mathematics, and Science, participated in an in–on–in training model, consisting of face-to-face sessions, online mentoring, and classroom practice. The training materials included the introduction of children’s storybooks, strategies for integrating them into classroom activities, and practical exercises in designing innovative lesson plans. The results of the program revealed a high level of teacher enthusiasm in developing interactive learning by using children’s storybooks, both as a literacy resource and as contextual media across subject areas. Teachers were also trained to follow a systematic process: analyzing learning objectives, selecting appropriate storybooks, preparing pre-reading, while-reading, and post-reading activities, determining relevant assessments, and designing worksheets. This program had a positive impact on enhancing teachers’ competencies in designing mindful, joyful, and meaningful learning that is relevant to students’ needs.

Abstract

Leadership is an important social skill to develop from an early age in children. The learning process that supports leadership development in elementary schools has an important role in shaping children's character and organizational abilities. In this era of globalization, leadership abilities are no longer the exclusive domain of adults or state leaders. Leadership is now seen as a skill that can be developed from an early age. This research aims to document and analyze the efforts of Banda Aceh State Elementary School 14 in cultivating children's leadership through special programs. This research uses a qualitative approach method with descriptive research type. Through a series of interviews, information was obtained about understanding the concept of child leadership, student participation in leadership activities, concrete programs implemented, the role of parents and teachers, visible positive impacts, as well as challenges faced and strategies for overcoming them. The interview results show that the school implements a holistic approach in developing students' social skills, responsibility and decision-making abilities. Programs such as leadership training and collaborative projects are designed to give students hands-on experience. The role of parents and teachers is recognized as an important element in supporting children's leadership development. Visible positive impacts include increased student self-confidence and communication skills. Schools overcome challenges by engaging a team of teachers, collaborating with parents, and conducting ongoing evaluations.

Abstract

The lack of references for HOTS questions is considered an obstacle for teachers in developing HOTS-based questions. This study aims to produce test instrument development products to measure students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education subjects. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE method which consists of five stages namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments were a validation questionnaire and a critical thinking skills test. The types of data generated are quantitative data and qualitative data. The quantitative data in the form of the results of the validity of the test instrument products by experts reached an average score of 0.94 with very high validity criteria. While the qualitative data in this study are in the form of suggestions and input from experts, namely (1) Paying attention to the connection of question items with the real life of students and (2) Correcting the word “exclusion” so that it can be better understood by students. Then the empirical validity test was carried out by testing the test instrument on 3 fourth grade students of SDN Madulegi II to produce quantitative data in the form of an average score on each aspect of critical thinking ability based on the FRISCO framework. The results showed that the focus, inference, and situation aspects achieved an average score of 2.5 and the clarity aspect of 2.75 which was in the high category. Meanwhile, the other aspects, namely reason and overview, only reached the medium category with an average score of 2.25. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the test instrument developed is able to measure students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a HOTS question-based assessment instrument that can be used to assess students' high-level thinking abilities in Class V science subjects at SDN Tulusrejo 3 Malang. This research uses an R&D (Research and Development) approach. This research uses the ADDIE development model which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design (planning), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). The test subjects in this research were 21 students of class V (five) at SDN Tulusrejo 3 Malang. The types of data used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. In this research, qualitative data was obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained from question validation sheets and trial results. The results of this research show that the product validity test results of the HOTS question-based assessment instrument assisted by Google Form obtained an average score of 4.26 with the criteria "Very valid". So, it can be concluded that the development of an assessment instrument based on hot questions with the help of Google Form is valid for use in testing activities with students. Meanwhile, in terms of product testing, an average score of 80.9% (rounded to 81) was obtained, which is included in the "Effective" category. It can be concluded that the development of Hots question-based assessment instruments in science learning assisted by Google Form is effective in improving the evaluation, creativity, analysis and critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN Tulusrejo 3 Malang.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the CTL model on cognitive and learning activities of fifth-grade students at SDN 16 Banda Aceh, particularly when their cognitive scores in heat transfer topics in science do not reach the minimum threshold (KKM) of 76. This quantitative research uses a one-shot case study design with measurement and observation sheets as instruments. The analysis shows that the average student score before using the CTL model was 80.76 with 72.73% classical completeness, and after using the CTL model, it was 76.33 with 69% classical completeness. Hypothesis testing indicated t count > t table (2.49 > 1.69), thus H1 is accepted. Average cognitive scores were C1 = 22, C2 = 27, and C3 = 31. The instructor's task average score was 4.74 (very good), and student learning experiences were 85% very good, 9% good, and 6% acceptable. The results indicate that the CTL model positively affects individual cognitive outcomes with an average score of 80.76. However, it does not significantly impact the percentage of classical completeness, which remained at 72.73%, below the required 80%. The CTL model enhances teacher and student learning experiences, making students more engaged and enthusiastic as the learning connects directly to their lives.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a project-based STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning tool for the "Meliuk Menerjang" material in the Emancipated Curriculum for grade IV students in Indonesian elementary schools. The objective is to create a tool that is feasible, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, specifically following the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data was collected through validation from material and design experts, questionnaires, and student performance assessments. The study included 25 students and 20 teachers from various elementary schools in Malang City to identify the needs and effectiveness of the project-based STEM learning model. Data analysis was performed using SPSS for effectiveness analysis and qualitative analysis for feedback and validation results. Findings: The project-based STEM learning model demonstrated high feasibility with significant improvements in students' understanding and skills. Validation results showed that the content was relevant and supportive of STEM skill development. Both teachers and students positively accepted the learning model, indicating increased confidence and motivation. Conclusion: Integrating project-based STEM learning in the Emancipated Curriculum positively impacts student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. This approach fosters critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork among elementary students, preparing them for future technological challenges.
