Abstract

Digital mass media is expected to provide educational information about politics in order to raise the political participation of its readers. This article aims to explain the role of digital media in increasing political participation, the obstacles it faces, and its solutions, by looking at Tirto.id.This research was a descriptive qualitative research. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation and focus group discussion. They were complemented with literature study and online research to obtain secondary data. The result of this research was that as a digital media, Tirto.id exists with its vision and mission as press media in providing actual reports while maintaining credibility. To this day Tirto.id maintains the values and rules mandated in the press law to continue providing information, education, entertainment and social control . Tirto.id plays its role in increasing political participation, as seen in its readers’ many responses to its reports, especially with regard to political news which was connected to its social media.  It is also evidenced in how Tirto.id keeps its credibility by giving data-based balanced information data, validated through data checking and independent research, as well as its writer columns, though the latter is still limited.

Abstract

Nurul Jadid is one of the biggest Islamic boarding schools in Probolinggo Regency with many formal and non-formal educational institutions. However, some of them have a lack of supervision in maintaining their quality aspects because of some reasons, such as less qualified human resources, overlapping schedules, and administrative business. Furthermore, this program is to focus on deploying supervision, monitoring, and evaluation over formal and nonformal educational institutions in Nurul Jadid. The result of this program is first, teacher’s and student’s learning tools in MI Nurul Mun’im are relatively completed and standardized, teacher’s understanding of goals of Quranic literacy and furudhul ‘ainiyah is highly demonstrated, the process of uneven semester 2018/2019 final exam in MTs Nurul Jadid is smoothly implemented, about 95% administrative requirements for pre-accreditation in SMP Nurul Jadid is achieved, and educational process in MA Nurul Jadid is based on eight (8) criteria of National Educational Standards.

Abstract

The concept of "structuralism" can be said to be from the word "structure", which means constant and organized links between groups of phenomena. As for "structuralism", people are often understood by the movement of thought or the method of science that affects ideology. Another definition of constructivism is the way of thinking that views all that exists as “all” made up of connected, interrelated structures. And the values ​​of this ideology can be deduced from their application in the field of teaching the four language skills, as the fact that each skill is taught cannot be separated from the other. And teaching the skill of listening, for example, has a strong association with other skills. The relationship between a language skill and other skills can be said to be the concept of "parts in a whole".

Abstract

this study aimed to describe the comparison of phonology of Arabic and Indonesian and to reveal the location of the similarities and differences between the both of it. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings of this study are: 1) the sound of Arabic is six types, three short and three long. The short sound type is (ـَ ، ـِ ، ـُ), and the long sound is ا ، و ، ي. While the sound of Indonesian is seven, and all of it is short, namely, a, i, u, e, o. Long sounds do not exist in Indonesian, so students do not have difficulty distinguishing. 2) Arabic has 22 silent sounds, that is, ب ، ت ، ث ، ج ، ح خ خ ، د ، ذ ، ر ، ز ، س ، ش ص ص ، ض ، ط ، ظ ، ع ، غ ، ف ، ق ، ك ، ل ، م ، ن ، و ، ه ، ء ، ي ،. While Indonesian has 20 mute sounds, namely b, c, d, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, ny, ng, p, r, s, t, w, y. 3) the sound of Arabic that has no equivalent in Indonesian, including ث ، ح ، خ ، ذ ، ز ، ش ، ص ، ض ، ط ، ظ ، ع ، غ ، و. Therefore, to minimize the difficulties of students, these differences need to be taught gradually, starting from the easy to the difficult. The methods that can be used include: the Abjadiyah method, the sound method and the language dualism method

Abstract

Food security is one of the most important things for a country, including Indonesia. This study aims to explain the various factors or constraints of land use, the optimization that has been or is expected from land managers, and the resulting implications at the Panca Arga Kesatuan dormitory at the Magelang Military Academy. The method used was a qualitative survey with in-depth interviews using purposive random sampling and data triangulation for analysis. In land use there are factors that hinder such as expensive fertilizer prices, unstable selling prices, different land forms, availability of infrastructure, pests and knowledge for each cultivator. Land cultivators also do various things to optimize their yields by joining the farming community in the area around the Panca Arga Military Academy dormitory, prioritizing selling crops to residents of the Panca Arga Unitary Military Academy dormitory, attending counseling or discussions about agriculture from people who are competent in the field prepared pesticides and build adequate infrastructure. The benefits that land cultivators get are numerous, such as being closer to other members of the soldiers, increasing their income, and also maintaining their health while not serving as soldiers. The Magelang Military Academy Unity and the community also benefit from the use of the land.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the design of character education in forming social awareness in Islamic boarding schools. The method used in this study was a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While checking the validity of the data was carried out by extending the time and persistence of observations, triagulation techniques and discussions with seniors. The findings of the research are as follows: (1) The design of character education for the social care of students at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School runs naturally by maintaining the traditions of the pesantren which lead to the formation of the character of the social care of students. (2) Efforts to form the social care character of the students include: (a) The formation of the character of the social care of the students through organizational culture. (b) Formation of the character of social care for students through kiai figures (c) Formation of character for social care through alumni (d) Formation of the character of social care for students through books and lessons.

Abstract

This research was conducted to empower ustadzah in Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools through an empowerment program to read the bald book, by applying the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method for five months, from March to the end of July 2021. The results of the research show that the ustadzah are very active in da'wah and general education activities through the Muhammadiyah association. However, the majority of Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school ustadzah lack competence in reading Arabic books which are the main focus of Islamic boarding school learning. The program that was implemented to empower reading the bald book was successful in increasing the ability to read the bald book simply among ustadzah. Based on these results, researchers provide several suggestions. Islamic boarding schools are advised not to involve ustadzah too much in activities outside of Islamic boarding school activities so that they can focus more on increasing Islamic boarding school competency. Apart from that, Islamic boarding schools need to continue to improve the abilities of their ustadzahs through upskilling efforts in mastering Arabic books. Simultaneous follow-up to programs that have been implemented is also needed. If weaknesses are found in future program implementation, a review needs to be carried out using appropriate research methods. In this way, efforts to empower ustadzah can continue to develop and make a greater contribution to Islamic boarding school learning.

Abstract

بعد ظهور الإسلام وانتشاره ودخول الناس –من الأعاجم – فيه بدأ ظهور المولدين الذين لا يستطيع ضبط لسانهم بالفصحى فبدأ ظهور اللحن بينهم. ثم نشأ عمل وضع علم النحو استجابة لظهور اللحن في العربية بدأه في ذلك أبو الأسود الدؤلي. واستمر اهتمام العلماء بعلم النحو فنشأ ما يسمي بالمدارس النحوية – بما فيها من الاختلافات – ومنها مدرستا البصرة والكوفة اللتان تختلفان في مسائل نحوية كثيرة. والمؤسس الحقيقي لمدرسة البصرة هو الإمام الخليل بن أحمد الفراهيدي، أما المؤسس الحقيقي لمدرسة الكوفة هو أبو الحسن على بن حمزة الكسائي. تميّز مذهب البصرة بالحزم الصارم والتشدد الزائد في قبول الشعر المروي للشواهد النحوية والقدرة الفائقة على الاستدلال بالبراهين العقلية والأقيسة المنطقية والعلل الفلسفية، أما مذهب الكوفة فكان أكثر رواية للشعر من البصريين، فكان مذهبهم بذلك أسمح وأوسع وأيسر وأسهل Abstrak Setelah Islam lahir dan menyebar ke wilayah non Arab, mulailah terjadi fenomena ‘Lahn’ di kalangan muslim non Arab. Merespon hal tersebut, Abul Aswad ad-Duali memelopori penulisan kaidah nahwu. Lebih lanjut, hal tersebut berkembang sehingga muncul kelompok ahli nahwu yang tergabung dalam ‘Madrasah Bashrah’ dan ‘Madrasah Kufah’ yang keduanya berbeda pandangan dalam banyak masalah nahwu. Pendiri ‘Madrasah Bashrah’ adalah imam Khalil bin Ahmad al-Farahidy sementara ‘Madrasah Kufah’ dipelopori – menurut pendapat terkuat – imam al-Kissaiy. Ciri utama ‘Madrasah Bashrah’ sangat ketat dan selektif dalam menerima syi’ir Arab serta kemampuan luar biasa dalam berargumen menggunakan logika, analogi, dan prinsip-prinsip filsafat. Sementara ‘Madrasah Kufah’ terkenal dengan kelonggaran, keluwesan dan toleransi dalam menerima sya’ir Arab sebagai hujjah dalam masalah nahwu

Abstract

The essence of the problem of current learning patterns is that there is still a delay in students' understanding of the material as a whole. So the purpose of this study is to find out how the teacher's representation as a demonstrator who actualizes himself becomes a figure for students. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenology at the Islamic Elementary School Terpadu Permata Kraksaan. The data collection technique was through observation, in-depth interviews with the school principal, Vice Head of Student Affairs, Deputy Head of Curriculum, homeroom teachers for class I, and II, as well as related documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Interactive Model by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is reached by the process of triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that SDIT Permata Kraksaan requires its teachers to be practitioners of good demonstrators for students. Teacher representatives as demonstrators are actualized with personal capability, capability to innovate, and capability to develop. The role of teachers with various skills makes it easier for students to understand simply and clearly. The learning process will also be dynamic and rich in broad insights. Of course, this research will be a scientific charity for educational practitioners in positioning themselves for educational success. More importantly, the utility of the teacher figure as a demonstrator will make it easier for students to reach wider information.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of Arabic learning based on e-mobile instrumental using the appypie application. The method used in this study is a qualitative type, in which the authors use Contex Analysis as data analysis from primary sources in the form of appypie applications and Arabic learning material in jer letters. After the writer conducted the research, the design of the Arabic learning model based on e-mobile instrumental showed that the researcher tried to create a quality e-mobile that had been designed so that it also had an impact with the creation of quality learning. In addition, the design of e-mobile in Arabic learning based on e-mobile instrumental developed in this study only refers to one topic or one Arabic material as an example, namely the “Jer Letters”. E-mobile is presented using the appypie application. Then found the advantages of this learning model are saving time, giving more space in learning, greater motivation in learning Arabic, more encouraging students because of e-mobile based, and saving material. The disadvantages of this Arabic learning model are difficulties for students who do not have internet data packages, need time to check the quality of the existing internet, cannot control students directly, lack of learning evaluation features, and the application is still paid
