Abstract

The learning organization idea represents a shift in how organizations are developed and grow. Within the training and development literature, staff development and individual learning were emphasized. This review undertakes a critical review of the confused and confusing literature on the learning organization. Draws on both psychological and organizational perspectives and focuses on the distinction between organizational learning and the concept of the learning organization. The discussion is centered around the issues of learning organization and the nature of learning organization. The issues include the neglect of intra-organizational phenomena and a lack of clarity regarding the treatment of the organization, the nature of learning itself, the lack of an accepted theory of what constitutes a learning organization's culture and climate, the impact of organizational size, the role of teamwork within the learning organization concept, and the fundamental question of whether the learning organization is a variable or a root metaphor. This article looks at some of the problems with the learning organization literature and then asks whether the learning organization is a concept that is applicable to organizations. Much of the literature on organizations doesn't take into account the unique nature of organizations in terms of their membership and the people with influence within them. Collaborative learning allows employees to gain new knowledge, skills, and attitudes by working together. Finally, it concludes with a consideration of the issues involved in creating a learning organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain results: the influence of micro and macroeconomic factors of the company on investment opportunities. This research is conducted in five ASEAN countries, such as; Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines (ASEAN-5). The microeconomic factors are measured by firm size, financial risk, profitability, and debt policy. The macroeconomic factors are measured by interest rates, exchange rates, inflation, and economic growth. The analysis unit of this study is 175 large capacity manufacturing industries listed on ASEAN-5 stock exchanges for the 2012-2017 period. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. The result shows that the Debt Equity Ratio has a negative and significant effect on investment opportunities in Microeconomic influence for the ASEAN-5 Countries. Risk does not have a significant effect on investment opportunities. Profitability is insignificant for the ASEAN-5 Countries and is significant for the State of Singapore, Thailand. Firm Size is significant for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. GDP growth has a significant effect on investment opportunities for the ASEAN-5 countries. The interest rate has harmed the opportunities of investment in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Inflation has a negative and significant effect in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Exchange rates are significant for Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Investment opportunities have a positive effect on the value of the company in ASEAN-5 Countries. The benefits of this study for creditors are as a guideline for disbursing credit, and for investors it is as a guideline for placing capital investments in companies that have favorable debt and equity considerations in five (5) ASEAN Countries.

Abstract

The present study investigated the relationship between human capital, structural capital, capital employed and market value with the mediating intervention of supply chain management in Indonesia This study uses purposive sampling method with 34 total sample companies and applies the VAIC method in carrying out its measurements. The measurement of market value used in this study is market to book value. The result shows that IC as a whole has significant positive effect on market value. Human capital has significant positive effect on market value. Structural capital does not significantly affect the market value of the company. Capital employed has significant negative effect on the market value.

Abstract

Bergulirnya era industri 4.0 maka perusahaan diharapkan dapat menerapkan konsep-konsep yang dapat mendukung terciptanya organisasi yang efektif dan efisien. Kinerja perusahaan yang baik merupakan muara akhir yang ingin dicapai oleh semua organisasi. Untuk mencapainya dibutuhkan dukungan semua bagian dalam organisasi, termasuk karyawan. Banyak teori yang menyatakan bahwa komitmen profesi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif kepada performa perusahaan. Riset ini dilakukan di PT. Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur cabang Medan dengan 60 orang subjek penelitian. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah melihat model komitmen profesi dan kepuasan kerja karyawan diasumsikan dapat memberikan sumbangan kepada kinerja perusahaan. Hasilnya menemukan bahwa komitmen terhadap profesi dan kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan berarti bahwa apabila model komitmen profesi dan kepuasan kerja mengalami peningkatan maka diharapkan performa perusahaan juga mengalami peningkatan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dana pihak ketiga, kecukupan modal, risiko kredit, dan nilai tukar terhadap profitabilitas bank umum syariah yang ada di Indonesia pada periode 2012-2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif, dengan sampel 8 bank umum syariah dan menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan alat bantu Eviews 10 dan Microsoft Office Excel 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel dana pihak ketiga, kecukupan modal, risiko kredit, dan nilai tukar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas bank umum syariah dengan hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan adanya pengaruh sebesar 73,13% dan sisanya 26,87% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa risiko kredit berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Dana pihak ketiga, kecukupan modal, dan nilai tukar berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris adakah pengaruh komunikasi internal dan disiplin kerja yang diterapkan untuk mewujudkan kinerja karyawan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desktiptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data yaitu observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner/angket. Pengaruh Komunikasi Internal (X1) dan Disiplin Kerja (X2) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan yang dapat dilihat dari hasil uji F berdasarkan hasil uji F maka dapat diketahui fhitung sebesar dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 kemudian degree of freedom (df) sebesar (k-1) atau derajat pembilangnya dan (n-k) untuk derajat penyebutnya dimana n = jumlah observasi dan k = jumkah variabel, maka diperoleh F tabel sebesar 3,99. Sehingga nilai fhitung lebih besar dari ftabel (242,696 > 3,99). Dengan demikian hasil pengujian menunujukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa secara bersama-sama (simultan) variabel bebas (komunikasi internal dan disiplin kerja) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (kinerja).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Earning Presure and Leverage on Accounting Conservatism in Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector that are Listed on the IDX. The method used is explanatory research with analysis techniques using statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study Earning Presure has no significant effect on Accounting Conservatism by testing the hypothesis obtained t count <t table or (-0.367 <1.994). Leverage has a significant effect on accounting conservatism by testing the hypothesis obtained t count> t table or (4.124> 1.994). Earning Presure and Leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on Accounting Conservatism with the regression equation Y = -0,354 - 0,122X1 + 0,448X2 and the influence contribution is 24,9%, the hypothesis test obtained F count> F table or (7,278> 2,740).

Abstract

Uncertainty in an increasingly competitive business environment, especially in the raising and emergence of several new companies in travel transportation services, should encourage a company to be able to have better performance to compete. Companies are faced with various threats and opportunities that emerge in the business environment, thus exposed to the uniformity of the company’s performance measurement tools as an instrument of the company’s performance evaluation. Measurement of company performance applied by Baraya Travel Bandung still use traditional performance measurement, incomprehensive and not optimal yet. Baraya Travel Bandung needs a performance measurement tool that can provide an overview of the overall achievement of the company’s business. The design of performance measurement tool that became the purpose of this research is Balanced Scorecard. The design of performance measuring tools using the Balanced Scorecard begins with translating the company’s vision, mission and strategic objectives that are linked into four perspectives in the Balanced Scorecard.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of ownership ratio proxyed by equity, the efficiency ratio proxyed by BOPO, profitability ratios proxied with Return On Asset, and company value and to find out how much influence of variable ownership and efficiency to profitability impact on firm value at 18 banking companies listed on the BEI period 2008-2015. This research uses descriptive and verificative methods. Data analysis methods used are multiple regression, multiple correlation, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the ratio of ownership and efficiency ratio simultaneously and partially have significant effect on profitability. The dominant variable is the ownership ratio. Profitability has a significant effect on corporate value.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of price fixing on purchasing decisions at Transmart Carrefour Tangerang Center, to determine the effect of location on purchasing decisions at Transmart Carrefour Tangerang Center, and to determine the effect of pricing and location on purchasing decisions at Transmart Carrefour Tangerang Center. This study uses quantitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Quantitative Research is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical, with the aim of testing established hypotheses. Based on the results of the study, the t-value of 4.069 > 1.96 means that the organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that if the organizational climate has increased, the performance of employees will also increase. The path coefficient is 0.232, which means that the contribution of the influence of organizational climate to employee performance is 23.2% and the remaining 76.8% are other factors not investigated
