Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of good corporate governance proxied managerial ownership on firm value with financial performance as an intervening variable. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2015-1017 period. Samples were selected using non-purposive sampling. The results of the study show that good corporate governance has a significant positive effect on firm value. Good corporate governance has a significant positive effect on financial performance. Financial performance has a significant influence on company value. While good corporate governance has a significant indirect effect on firm value by using financial performance as an intervening variable.Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Company Value, and Financial Performance.

Abstract

Learning about straight motion can be observed in everyday life. The condition of students in the research school where some SMK students find it difficult to understand how to observe objects moving or going so fast, and do not know how to determine the right time. This research is the application of learning using arduino-based infrared sensor media to measure the speed of GLB-GLBB straight motion. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of media in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is a pre- experimental Data was obtained using 10 number critical thinking essay questions, the results of the pretest and posttest will be converted using a critical thinking instrument grid with 4 criteria, namely: Analyzing skills, synthesizing skills, problem solving skills and concluding skills.  Critical thinking criteria data were analyzed using the percentage formula to see the percentage level of student skills increase. As for the hypothesis test analysis, the Paired Two Sample for Means t test or paired test was used. The average pretest = 60.9 and the average posttest = 81.8. Critical thinking skills data analysis results from 4 criteria: (1) analyzing skills at pretest = 58.9% and at posttest = 75%; (2) synthesizing skills at pretest = 60.7% and posttest = 85.7%; (3) problem solving skills at pretest = 66.1% and posttest = 76.8% and (4) conclusion skills at pretest = 55.4% and posttest = 83.9%. While the significance test of the analysis results is t-statistic = 7.42 and t-table two-tail = 2.02 so that overall it can be concluded that the use of infrared sensor media based on arduino measuring the speed of GLB-GLBB straight motion can affect and improve the critical thinking skills of SMK students.

Abstract

Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) is the bacterial causative agent of leaf blight in rice (Oryza sativa L.), the most serious bacterial disease of rice in many rice growing areas worldwide. This study aimed to identify and characterize several virulence factors of seven Xoo isolates from Yogyakarta, West Java, and West Sumatera. The identification of Xoo using 16S rRNA confirmed high homology to Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae PXO99A and revealed three groups. The first group was Xoo93229, the second group containing Xoo1110, Xoo1122, Xoo1130, Xoo7624 and Xoo8024 as the same cluster with PXO99A and the third group was KACC10331 and MAFF311018. The amounts of exopolysaccharide (EPS) and cellulase produced were varying depending on the Xoo isolates. The EPS were produced more by isolate Xoo1130, Xoo1122 and Xoo8024. All tested isolates revealed similar cellulase activity except for isolate Xoo8024. The pathogenicity assay among the Xoo isolate showed that all tested isolates were virulent except Xoo7624. The in planta assay revealed that the tested isolates have multiplied and continued increasing the population size except for Xoo1110 and Xoo7624. High yield of EPS, cellulase activity, more virulence, and increasing population size revealed from isolate Xoo1130 and Xoo1122.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the design of a water distiller to produce fresh water converted from seawater through a distillation process. This research aims to be a learning material for high school physics to understand the concept of evaporation. The method in this research is to carry out the process of heating, evaporation and condensation using an electric heater that has been modified as needed such as adding pipes and cooling tubes and conducting performance tests of the designed tool. The results of the research data obtained from the results of measuring the volume of distilled water and the quality of water produced. The data of distillation results include the volume of fresh water with an average of 93 with a standard deviation of 185 ph average of 7.4 with a standard deviation of 14.7, the number of particles contained with an average of 42 with a standard deviation of 83.4 and a temperature with an average of 103 with a standard deviation of 206 with the resulting water quality parameters including colourless water with fresh taste and odourless. Based on the quality tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the distilled water is suitable for consumption based on the drinking water quality standards

Abstract

Anestesi adalah suatu tindakan menahan rasa sakit ketika melakukan pembedahan dan berbagai prosedur lainnya yang menimbulkan rasa sakit pada tubuh. Istilah anestesi pertama kali digunakan pertama kali oleh Oliver Wendel Holmes Sr pada tahun 1846. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat penggunaan obat anestesi di instalasi bedah sentral RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen. Sifat penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif terhadap resep pasien anestesi di instalasi bedah sentraldengan mengambil resep pasien anestesi sebanyak 300 resep pasien. Data hasil penelitian dari tiap-tiap variabel disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Rekapitulasi persentase rata-rata yangdiperoleh dari resep pasien anestesi berdasarkan jenis kelamin yaitu laki-laki sebesar 51,3%, berdasarkan usia yaitu usia > 50 tahun sebesar 27,4%. Dari hasil tabulasi tingkat penggunaan obat anestesi di instalasi bedah sentral RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen tahun 2018 yang paling tinggi persentasenya adalah pethidin 50 mg/2 ml ampul yaitu sebanyak 22,2%, sedangkan yang paling rendah persentasenya adalah sevofluran sebanyak 0,3%. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat penggunaan obat anestesi di instalasi bedah sentral RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen menunjukkan obat anestesi pethidin yang paling banyak digunakan

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to examine how Article 70 paragraph (1) of Aceh Qanun Number 8, 2012 stipulates the formation of the Wali Nanggroe Election Commission through a process of deliberation and consensus, following democratic principles. and to analyze the characteristics of an ideal Wali Nanggroe Aceh election system, as it pertains to the Regional Head Election Regime. The research methodology employed in this study is normative legal research, utilizing a qualitative approach. The provision stated in Article 96 paragraph (4) of the aforementioned law serves as a safeguard for the distinctiveness and prerogatives of Aceh, as well as the electoral process for the position of Wali Nanggroe Aceh, which aligns with the principles outlined in Article 18B paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution. The findings are the selection process for the period of office of Wali Nanggroe should adhere to a pattern of specificity and privilege, while still respecting the principles underlying the establishment of the Wali Nanggroe position, even within the framework of the regional head regime. The regionalization of Wali Nanggroe's tenure should be implemented alongside respected leaders of society in Aceh, to provide a comprehensive and systematic accommodation of all segments of the Acehnese society.

Abstract

Playing is an activity that is very important for children's growth and development. Playing must be carried out on the child's own initiative, playing in a fun way provides a learning process for the child. Playing can also stimulate various things in children's development, such as physical movement, cognitive, mathematical logic, language, moral-religious, socio-emotional and artistic. Through play, children's creativity will awaken and develop optimally. Child and socio-emotional development: In principle, children learn through social interactions, both with adults and peers. Social development has a positive impact on children's growth and development. Social development supports communication skills, academic success and school adjustment, strengthens peer relationships, and creates a positive learning environment. Therefore, this skill must be developed optimally from an early age. Playing is one way to develop social-emotional skills in childhood. Play can be used as an alternative means to improve social and emotional development in children.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of used bottles as a medium for automatic plant watering. In addition, this study also provides education to the community so that they can use used bottles at home as a medium for automatic plant watering. This activity also has a positive impact on environmental sustainability. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) research method. The results of this study are that the people of Mekar Baru village, Sei Balai sub-district, Batubara Regency are interested and show high interest in the use of used bottles as a medium for automatic watering of vegetable plants. The results of the activity can also maintain environmental sustainability by not littering.

Abstract

Ergonomics is a science that studies the interaction between humans and other elements in the form of a system, as well as a profession that practices theories, principles, data and methods in design to optimize suitability for human needs. High school students spend a lot of time at school in daily activities covering ± 6 hours with teaching and learning activities that dominate in the classroom. In the learning process students are more in a sitting position, as well as those experienced by SMA N 4 Takengon students. In this activity, the increase in knowledge in students increased by 74%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Local Own-Source Revenue (Pendapatan Asli Daerah, PAD), regional taxes, and poverty levels on economic growth in Gorontalo Province during the 2013– 2024 period. PAD and regional taxes are essential indicators of a region's fiscal independence in funding development, while poverty acts as an impediment that can reduce productivity and consumer purchasing power. The research employs quantitative analysis using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and regional financial reports. The results indicate that PAD and regional taxes have a significant positive impact on economic growth, while poverty levels have a significant negative effect. Increased PAD and regional tax revenues contribute to public investment, infrastructure development, and social services, supporting economic activities. On the other hand, high poverty levels slow down economic growth due to limited purchasing power and reduced participation in productive activities. In conclusion, optimizing PAD and regional tax management, along with effective poverty alleviation policies, is crucial to fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Gorontalo. This study is expected to serve as a reference for local governments in formulating more targeted economic development strategies.
