Abstract

Technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) is critical for effective technology-enhanced education and has been increasing for several years. This research aims to provide a historical overview of TPACK-related studies for pre-service teachers, particularly those in the science department. The databases held 143 papers from 2012 to 2022, which were reviewed in four steps: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, yielding 44 noteworthy articles on TPACK research. The meta-analysis design was utilized in the study, with the parameters of the study's purpose, method/design, sample, data collection, and location. According to the data, most studies measure pre-service teachers' TPACK using a variety of techniques and samples. And recently, the quantitative method has grabbed the lead. TPACK studies have grown in quantity over time, with the emphasis on measuring and enhancing pre-service teachers' TPACK. Despite the fact that the trend is increasing, the Indonesian context is still rare, and this study suggests that additional research into the TPACK environment in Indonesia is essential.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui sistem e-learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah 2R2D yang dikembangkan oleh Willis. Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari pendefinisian,  perencanaan dan  menyebarluaskan. Data diperoleh melalui pretest, angket dan posttest dengan bentuk instrument berupa lembar angket dan butir soal berpikir kritis. Subyek penelitian adalah 35 Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Jember yang memprogram pada mata kuliah Fisika Sekolah I. Hasil indikator yang dikembangkan dalam berpikir kritis adalah interprestasi, analisis, evaluasi dan inferensi. Validasi ahli menjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan adalah cukup valid. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata pada uji coba perangkat. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan simpulan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dengan sistem e-learning meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Guided discovery is a learning model that can expect students to identify knowledge and organize to final concept that is helped by LKS. This type of research is experimental research held in MA Negeri 1 Jember. The purpose of this study are to assess the influence of guided discovery learning for student’s cognitive learning outcomeon in straight motion learning,to assess the influence of guided discovery learning for student’s affective ability in straight motion learning, and to assess the influence of guided discovery learning to student’s science skill process in straight motion learning. Data collection technique use tests, observations, portofolios, interviews and documentation. Reseach testing by using analyse of Independent Sample t-test with SPSS IBM 23. The result show that guided discovery learning model significantly influence to student’s cognitive learning outcomeon in straight motion learning, that guided discovery learning model significantly influence student’s affective ability in straight motion learning, guided discovery learning model significantly influence to student’s science skill process in straight motion learning. Abstract

This study was aimed at describing: (1) the validity of comic-based thematic worksheet, (2) students performance assessment while used comic-based thematic worksheet and (3) students responses after used comic-based thematic worksheet. This study was development research of 4-D method (define, design, develop, disseminate). The subjects of this study were students of class VII MTs Bustanul Ulum, Panti, Jember. The validity was assessed by user experts validator and audience related to feasibility of the content, language, presentation and graphic. The instruments used are sheets of worksheet validation, sheets of student performance assessment and sheets of student responses. The results showed that: (1) comic-based thematic worksheet classified as valid which has proven by qualitatively and quantitatively, (2) Students performance while used comic-based thematic comic is 83,19% and classified as excellent, (3) students responses was very positive showed that students feel happy, know, understand and attracted to the comic-based thematic worksheet. Abstract

AbstractThis research was a developmental research. The product of this research was inthe use of an android -based snake and ladders as a learning media on the topic of globalwarming phenomenon in senior high schools. This research were developed by Borg andGall method that modified into 5 step: (1) study literature, (2) planning, (3) designing (4)validation and revision, and (5) testing media and final revision.The results showed thatthe use of an android -based snake and ladders as a learning media can be valid,practically anf effective for use. This can be seen from the validation assesment criteriagets valid with a assesment scores reached 4,552. The practically assesment showed frompercentage 93,33 % with a criteria practice indicating that the media was good for useaccording with the teacher implementation planned learning and also showed frompercentage 80,64 % with a criteria practice indicating that study activity learning washigh. The effectiveness assesment showed from improvement student learning outcomeswith the average of N-gain score was 0,73 which was in the high category.Keywords: effectiveness, practicality, android based snake and ladder, validity

Abstract

This research aimed to describe validation and effectiveness of interactivemultimedia and students’ response after the learning process was using interactivemultimedia accompanied drills on the subjects of pressure. This research includedresearch development to produce a product of media learning namely interactivemultimedia accompanied drills on the subjects of pressure in junior high schoolstudents. The development model used the Four-D (Define, Design, Develop, andDisseminate) model. The result of this research showed that assessments validator tointeractive multimedia was perfectly valid with the acquisition the percentage was88,65 %. In the developmental testing known that interactive multimedia was veryeffective used to improve students’ learning outcomes with the acquisition N-gain testwas 0,715 with was in the high category. In addition, the students’ response toward theinteractive multimedia had a positive and good response with the acquisition thepercentage of 87,95 %.Key word: interactive multimedia, drills, effectiveness, students’ response.

Abstract

Technology development effect included in education field especially physics. In learning process, technology presented as teaching materials based on computer assisted instruction. This learning materials included many media as picture, graphic, animation, text, video, and physics theory especially simple harmonic motion in one product. This article was the result of development research of physics teaching materials based on computer assisted instruction on topic simple harmonic motion. Computer assisted instruction based teaching materials in this research used tutorial type. The purpose of this research were to describe validity of CAI based teaching materials, student’s response, and student’s learning result. The techniques of data collection were test, observation, interviews and documentation. The Result of this research were CAI based teaching materials on topic simple harmonic motion was valid with point 4.23, this learning materials had positive response in learning process for topic simple harmonic motion with percentage of agreement 79% and students’learning result is high with score 77. Abstract

This research purpose was to create a new product in the form of multi-representation based module that can be used in learning activities. Multi-representation based module was an interesting module that made students understand the material easily. The purpose of this research was to produce a valid multi-representation based modules, to describe the students’ multi-representation ability and to know the students' response to the use of multi-representation based modules. The research design used the 4-D model that was reduced to be 3-D. The results of the research showed that the multi-representation based module was categorized quite valid with the value of expert validation was 3.89. Multi-representation capability on high criteria with N-gain value is 0.75. Meanwhile, the student's response was in the positive response category with the value of 79.4%. Multi-representation based module contained verbal representation, mathematical, pictures and graphs that were useful to help students to understand the material. Based on the results of this research, it could be concluded that the multi-representation based module was suitable to use as an interesting learning module. Abstract

This research was a developmental research. The product of this research was inthe form of students’ worksheet or LKS along with anime video in the topic of fluiddynamic at senior high school. The model of this development was ADDIE (Analyze,Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The research instruments used inthis research were in the form of validation sheet, critical thinking ability test, andstudents’ response questionnaire. Based on the validation results from the experts and theusers, it was known that the score for the LKS was 86,45% while for the anime video87,05%. Both of them were at the level of perfectly valid. The result of the pre-test andpost-test analysis showed that the average of N-gain score was 0,56 which was in themedium category. The students’ response of the use of LKS with anime video was 83,17%which was categorized as positive response.Key words: LKS, anime video, validation, students’ response, critical thinking.

Abstract

Guided inquiry is the application of constructivism learning theory which is based on scientific examination and investigation. The purposes of this research are too: (1) examine the differences in students science learning result using guided inquiry learning model with contextual-based video and learning model commonly used in SMP; (2) describe students activities; (3) describe students motivation. This research is a kind of experimental research which uses randomized post-test only control group design. The samples of this research are the students of class VII at SMPN 7 Jember, i.e. class VII B as a control class and class VII C as an experimental class. The data were analyzed using Independent Sample T-test in SPSS 16 to show differences between experimental class and control class. The results of this research are: (1) there are differences in students science learning result using guided inquiry learning model with contextual-based video and learning model commonly used in SMP; (2) the percentage of students activities is 87.81%; and (3) the percentage of students motivation is 85.77%.
