Abstract

In today's era of digital transformation and the dominance of artificial intelligence, cognitive and social-emotional skills, such as social-emotional learning (SEL) and early moderation, have become vital competencies for students from an early stage of education. Adaptive instructional systems (Adaptive AI)-based instruction integrated with automated formative assessment is seen as an effective and creative strategy to enhance these skills through in-depth personalized learning. Over the past two decades, research on immersive technology has increased rapidly, but evaluation of its impact on character development and moderation attitudes in early childhood remains very limited. This study evaluates the impact of Adaptive AI-driven instruction on students' SEL skills and moderation behaviors, and systematically investigates the key factors contributing to their cognitive and affective development. The primary objective of this study is to map the effectiveness of AI-based formative assessment in monitoring the development of digital tolerance and resilience values ​​from an early age through integrative quantitative evidence. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and meta-analysis of 137 empirical studies indexed in the Scopus database from 2000 to 2026. Data analysis was conducted using the Google Colab platform using the R programming language (metafor package) to calculate effect sizes and ensure data transparency. Key findings indicate that adaptive instructional systems have a significant positive impact on children's emotional maturity and inclusive attitudes. Variables such as scaffolding features in AI interactions and multimodal communication strategies were shown to significantly influence outcomes, while geographic location factors had no significant impact. In conclusion, the ethical integration of AI has profound implications for the development of early childhood education curricula based on digital resilience and moderation.

Abstract

Natural Science (IPA) learning today in elementary schools tends to be still theoretical and less contextual with students' lives. This research aims to develop science teaching materials in the form of an ethnoscience-based digital encyclopedia that integrates the local wisdom of Sukoharjo Regency. The ethnoscience approach is used to bridge scientific concepts with local cultural values to increase the relevance and meaning of learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, including the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were obtained through literature studies, field observations, interviews with community leaders, and validation by material and media experts. Preliminary results suggest that various local practices, such as traditional food processing, herbal medicine, and agricultural systems, have scientific value that can be integrated into science material. The developed digital encyclopedia is equipped with illustrations, interactive narratives, and multimedia content to make it easier for students to understand. These findings show that the development of ethnoscience-based contextual teaching materials has the potential to improve the quality of science learning in elementary schools in a creative, meaningful, and rooted in local culture

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Kehadiran kembali perempuan dalam pemberitaan politik di instagram selalu menjadi pembahasan yang populer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan apa saja bentuk jenis-jenis representasi yang digunakan dalam pemberitaan dan pola bahasa yang terbentuk dari kolom deskripsi pemberitaan Puan Maharani dan Megawati Soekarnoputri di Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik literature (dibacam ditandai, dan dicatat) dipergunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Sumber data diambil dari kolom deskripsi yang terdapat pada unggahan instagram berisi pemberitaan Puan Maharani dan Megawati Soekarnoputri di akun resmi media sosial instagram Kompas.com. Hasil penelitian ini kalimat dalam pemberitaan yang dianalisis menggunakan ilmu analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills yang dibagi menjadi 3 posisi, yaitu : posisi subjek-objek, posisi pembaca, dan posisi media. Selain itu, ditemukan 25 data yang masing-masing dikategorikan ke dalam berbagai jenis representasi seperti representasi nama, representasi kata ganti, representasi jabatan, dan representasi kekerabatan.

Abstract

Linguistically, "gemoy" is not listed in the KBBI. This word is a pun on "gemas," which in KBBI means very irritated or very irritated, but in slang, "gemoy" describes more positive feelings of resonance. This article explores how the term 'gemoy' is used strategically in the 2024 presidential election campaign through the lens of Fairclough's critical discourse analysis model. This case study focuses on the @mypresident.id Instagram account and a post entitled "When 'Gemoy' Becomes a Trend in Indonesian Society". This study aims to analyze the use of the term "gemoy" during the 2024 presidential election campaign. This research applies qualitative descriptive methods with critical discourse analysis techniques. The data collected is in the form of all lingual elements, namely words, phrases, clauses, and sentences containing the word "gemoy" in the comment column of netizens on Instagram @mypresident.id. The data were analyzed using the three dimensions of Fairclough's Model Critical Discourse Analysis, which consists of a textual dimension, a discursive dimension, and a sociocultural dimension. The dimensions of sociocultural practices were further analyzed using Dell Hymes' SPEAKING theory. The results show that communication strategies that utilize "gemoy" branding to build politicians' self-image have provided practical examples of how politicians can use digital media to create a more relatable and attractive image in this digital age to influence public opinion. The use of creative and varied language is an important element in politics to attract public attention, build relationships with voters, and achieve political goals, especially for Generation Z and millennials

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of deep learning in hikayat (classical Malay literature) instruction, examine students' responses, and explore the character values that emerged through the learning process among tenth-grade students at SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed in this research. Data were collected through three methods: a four-point Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 47 students, direct observation during learning activities, and review of instructional documents. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, encompassing the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity verified through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that deep learning was implemented based on three core principles, namely mindful, meaningful, and joyful, with the meaningful principle being the most dominant, as reflected by 53.2% of students who acknowledged the relevance of hikayat material to their lives and future. Positive responses across all indicators exceeded 86%, with no students strongly rejecting any statement related to comprehension of hikayat content or character development. Character values successfully cultivated included honesty, responsibility, discipline, and adherence to rules, with discipline demonstrating the most significant growth. This study concludes that deep learning-based hikayat instruction is proven effective as an alternative strategy for strengthening character education in vocational high schools. These findings imply the necessity of reconceptualizing classical literature instruction to extend beyond cognitive achievement toward the holistic and sustainable formation of students' character. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran mendalam pada materi hikayat, menelaah tanggapan peserta didik, serta menggali nilai-nilai karakter yang tumbuh melalui proses pembelajaran pada siswa kelas X SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tiga cara, yakni penyebaran angket berskala Likert empat poin kepada 47 siswa, pengamatan langsung selama kegiatan belajar berlangsung, serta penelaahan dokumen perangkat pembelajaran. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis memakai model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup tahap pemilahan data, pemaparan data, dan penyimpulan, kemudian keabsahannya diverifikasi melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran mendalam dijalankan dengan bertumpu pada tiga prinsip pokok, yaitu berkesadaran (mindful), bermakna (meaningful), dan menggembirakan (joyful), dengan prinsip bermakna sebagai yang paling dominan, tercermin dari 53,2% siswa yang mengakui relevansi materi hikayat bagi kehidupan dan masa depan mereka. Tanggapan positif peserta didik pada keseluruhan indikator melampaui angka 86%, tanpa ditemukan penolakan tegas pada indikator pemahaman isi hikayat maupun pembentukan karakter. Nilai-nilai karakter yang berhasil ditanamkan mencakup kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, dan ketaatan pada aturan, dengan kedisiplinan sebagai nilai yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan paling nyata. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran hikayat berbasis pembelajaran mendalam terbukti efektif sebagai strategi alternatif penguatan pendidikan karakter di SMK. Temuan ini mengisyaratkan perlunya pembaruan pendekatan dalam pembelajaran sastra klasik yang tidak semata mengejar capaian kognitif, melainkan juga membentuk karakter peserta didik secara utuh dan berkesinambungan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the strategy of describing objects as a public speaking learning for vocational high school students. The study used a qualitative descriptive design with one Indonesian language teacher and 32 grade XI students at a state vocational high school in Sukoharjo in the 2025/2026 academic year selected by purposive sampling as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of In-Depth Learning Plan (RPM) documents. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validity maintained through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study showed that this strategy was implemented through five integrated aspects: (1) functional teaching materials based on CP Indonesian speaking aspects delivered demonstratively; (2) media in the form of concrete objects in the classroom environment chosen spontaneously; (3) six stages of the strategy including the teacher as a model, offering rewards, spontaneous topic selection, directions for minimizing pauses, oral descriptions without text, and evaluation; (4) formative evaluation based on appreciative oral feedback; and (5) independent follow-up in the form of practice in front of a mirror and family. The conclusion of the study shows that the strategy of describing objects effectively increases students' participation, speaking courage, and fluency, while progressively reducing anxiety about appearing in front of the class. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan strategi mendeskripsikan objek sebagai pembelajaran public speaking siswa SMK. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek satu orang guru Bahasa Indonesia dan 32 siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMK Negeri di Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen Rencana Pembelajaran Mendalam (RPM). Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan, dengan keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi ini dilaksanakan melalui lima aspek yang terintegrasi: (1) bahan ajar fungsional berbasis CP Bahasa Indonesia aspek berbicara yang disampaikan secara demonstratif; (2) media berupa objek konkret di lingkungan kelas yang dipilih secara spontan; (3) enam tahapan strategi meliputi guru sebagai model, penawaran reward, pemilihan topik spontan, arahan minimalisasi jeda, deskripsi lisan tanpa teks, dan evaluasi; (4) evaluasi formatif berbasis umpan balik lisan yang apresiatif; serta (5) tindak lanjut mandiri berupa latihan di depan cermin dan keluarga. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi mendeskripsikan objek efektif meningkatkan partisipasi, keberanian berbicara, dan kelancaran siswa, sekaligus mengurangi kecemasan tampil di depan kelas secara progresif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan bentuk bahasa gaul, 2) jenis makna bahasa gaul, 3) fungsi penggunaan kosakata bahasa gaul yang terdapat di dalam grup WhatsApp di kalangan remaja Sanggrahan Kecamatan Grogol Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode yang digunakan oleh penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa wujud kosakata bahasa gaul, sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk, makna, dan fungsi kosakata bahasa gaul pada grup WhatsApp. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi yang digunakan berupa Screenshot (layar tembak) pada grup WhatsApp dan teknik catat yang dilakukan dengan mencatat data-data yang relevan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh penelitian ini adalah teknik distribusional. Dalam penelitian ini teknik yang digunakan dalam memperoleh bukti yang valid terhadap isi adalah teknik member checks. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Grup WhatsApp remaja Sanggrahan Kecamatan Grogol Kabupaten Sukoharjo dibuat pada tanggal 14 Agustus 2021 terdapat 7 kosakata bahasa gaul yang terbentuk melalui perubahan struktur fonologis dan 8 kosakata bahasa gaul yang mengalami proses pembentukan secara morfologis. Makna denotatif terdapat 4 kosakata bahasa gaul dan makna konotatif terdapat 2 kosakata bahasa gaul. Jenis fungsi penggunaan kosakata bahasa gaul yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu fungsi emotif yang terdiri dari 1 kosakata, fungsi konatif 1 kosakata, fungsi referensial 1 kosakata, dan fungsi fatik 1 kosakata.

Abstract

With the urgency of research in exploring the implementation of the independent curriculum, this study aims to understand how various classroom teaching methods can be used to strengthen students' understanding of concepts and enhance their abilities. The research data is analyzed through a descriptive approach, which is a qualitative method in the context of this study. The results of the study highlight several issues that arise when both schools implement the independent curriculum. One of the main findings is that the independent curriculum encourages teachers to be more creative in designing teaching modules, setting learning objectives, and organizing the flow of learning. As a result, teachers can no longer produce Lesson Implementation Plans (RPP) independently every week. Consequently, the efforts made by schools are more focused on improving the students' profiles that reflect the values of Pancasila. Summative Assessments (PS) are still given to students every day, but not only during the learning process inside the classroom. One important implication of this research is the need to expand the learning space outside the classroom to encourage active and innovative student engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyse reflections in the context of Lesson Study, focusing on teacher teaching practices in primary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Learning activities are still in the form of an assignment system and are not centered on students. Thus, students have not been able to be active in the learning process. In addition, there are still many students who are not disciplined in doing assignments. This study aims to provide insight into effective and efficient reflection and feedback activities on good and correct Lesson Study activities. Therefore, this research is important to be carried out because it can improve learning practices by adjusting appropriate learning strategies for learning activities that need to be improved, improving student learning outcomes by developing teaching strategies and adjusting to students, Lesson Study can help improve the quality of learning better, and can increase student participation in learning through more interactive, innovative, and student-centered learning. The team of teachers can find the best solution by drawing on the experiences experienced by fellow teachers. The teacher team analyzed the problems of grade 4 students, to find the right solution for learning. The collaboration of the teacher team in lesson study can observe and analyze each other's teaching practices. This allows them to give each other constructive feedback and suggestions to improve each other's teaching skills. Reflection in lesson study plays an important role in improving teaching practices and student learning achievement. By doing deep reflection, teachers can identify problems, evaluate their practices, and find appropriate solutions. Reflection also involves critical, logical, and analytical thinking to produce structured and weighty thinking

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mendeskripsikan tentang bentuk tradisi lokal yang dianut oleh masyarakat Kota Solo, 2) untuk mendeskripsikan karakter apa sajakah yang ada di dalam tradisi lokal yang dianut oleh masyarakat Kota Solo, dan 3) untuk menganalisis relevansi kajian tradisi lokal dengan upaya peningkatan kesadaran sejarah bagi generasi muda di Kota Solo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sehingga dalam menjawab rumusan masalah harus dilakukan melalui pengkajian secara teoretik maupun empirik. Kajian teoretik menggunakan studi pustaka dan literatur yang relevan, data yang diperoleh di lapangan, disertai dengan tehnik trianggulasi data. Nilai kearifan tradisi lokal memegang fungsi penting bagi pembentukan karakter pada generasi muda, bisa memunculkan sikap yang menjunjung tinggi nilai serta kearifan lokal. Nilai kearifan lokal berpotensi dapat menyadarkan generasi muda akan pentingnya meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah demi terwujudnya persatuan dan kesatuan karena sadar akan perannya bagi Bangsa Indonesia. Pembentukan jati diri nasional dapat didasari oleh pendidikan yang didasarkan pada "genius lokal" atau kearifan lokal.
