Abstract

This study aims to examine positive mindset as a major factor in optimizing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools. A descriptive qualitative approach was used involving 5th grade students and teachers who use AI technology in learning. Data were obtained through observation, interviews and document studies and to test the validity of the data tested using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the use of AI provides significant benefits by increasing personalization of learning, assessment efficiency, and provides significant benefits by increasing personalization of learning, assessment efficiency, and students' understanding of complex concepts. The percentage of student learning outcomes completion increased from 35% to 90% after the implementation of AI-based media. Students' positive mindset plays an important role in maximizing the effectiveness of AI technology, while teachers are the main facilitators in creating a supportive learning environment. However, challenges such as dependence on technology, limited infrastructure, and the need for teacher training need attention. With the right regulations and cooperation between educational institutions, government, and society, AI integration can have an optimal impact on improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This study focuses on the issue of ineffective educational service marketing in enhancing the institution's image. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of educational service marketing, identify weaknesses in the applied marketing model, and explore aspects of Local Wisdom-Based Educational Service Marketing in improving the institution's image. This research uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. The subjects of the study include the school principal, the vice principal for student affairs, cultural figures, and religious leaders. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, document studies, and focus group discussions (FGD). Data analysis was performed using the model proposed by Miles and Huberman, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data validation was conducted using triangulation techniques, including source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of educational service marketing in this school has not been effective and has not been maximally executed. Identified weaknesses include the lack of structured marketing activities, insufficient use of local wisdom as an attraction in marketing, and a lack of understanding among school members regarding educational service marketing. Furthermore, local wisdom has not been optimally applied in every aspect of the marketing mix. The conclusion of this study is that efforts need to be made to maximize the implementation of educational service marketing by incorporating local wisdom into every aspect of marketing to enhance the institution's image.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to extend a guideline for creating High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions or test for Computer and Network Engineering majors at the Vocational High School in Salatiga City. Research and development (R & D) approach is used in this research. This research uses the five steps of the Borg and Gall (1983) model: research and information gathering, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. All vocational school teachers majoring in Computer Engineering and Networks in Salatiga City were participated in this research. Data collection techniques were carried out by document studies, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis. The results of the research were in the form of extending a guideline for creating HOTS questions and test for Computer and Network Engineering teachers at Vocational High Schools in Salatiga City. Based on limited trials, this guideline received a score of 3,68 out of a maximum score of 4,00. That is what makes a book great. So, it can be concluded that this guideline can be used for Computer and network engineering teachers outside Salatiga City.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Papua Bintang Mountains Regency Regional Government scholarship program for students at Satya Wacana Christian University using the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model (Tyler). The research approach uses mixed methods. The research subjects were star mountains students, managers and assistants of the scholarship program. The research sample was 50 student respondents who received scholarships. Qualitative data analysis techniques: interviews, document studies and observations, and questionnaires. Qualitative data analysis techniques include: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Quantitative data analysis techniques use percentages and categories. The results of the research from 7 (stages) can be concluded: The formulation of objectives includes general objectives and specific objectives, general objectives include: improving the quality of human resources for regional sons and daughters and after graduating they will return to develop their region, measured after students graduate, and specific objectives include: academic achievement in the form of Index Cumulative Achievement in 2022/2023 with an average of 2.25. the ability to build academic cultural character in the sufficient category, the ability to build self-confidence with sufficient hatred, and the ability to adapt in the high category. This shows that the achievement of goals has increased after 3 years of college students.

Abstract

This research aims to start a Home Learning (BDR) program at elementary schools in the city of Ambon including SDN Negeri Lama Ambon, SD Inpres 35 Passo and SD Inpres 53 Batugong. This research involved 39 informants. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) evaluation model. The subjects in this research were the principal, homeroom teacher for grades 1, 4 and 6. Students in grades 1, 4 and 6 and their parents from these three schools. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used include: Data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The validation test in this research used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the research show that in the context component the school has implemented it in accordance with the home learning program planning and technical guidelines from the government which have been adjusted to suit the needs of each school. The input component shows that there are fundamental differences between the three schools in terms of the availability of Human Resources, Facilities and Infrastructure and Financing. The process component shows that the implementation of BDR is carried out boldly and offline, where the implementation of online learning encounters a number of obstacles. The product component at the third school was considered less satisfactory than in previous years due to the limited input and learning processes found.

Abstract

The world of business and industry (DUDI) is currently experiencing a significant transformation due to the influence of technology, this is characterized by machines replacing human labor or what is often known as the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Vocational High Schools (SMK) as providers of Human Resources who are ready to work have big challenges. Based on the results of observations made on the competence of Office Management and Business Services Vocational Schools in Salatiga, Boyolali and Surakarta, there is one subject in Automation and Financial Governance that still uses conventional calculations. Based on the above background, this research focuses on developing web-based petty cash learning media as a technological innovation to answer the needs of human resources who master technology. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) which starts from the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The research results show that the web-based petty cash system is suitable for use. The Feasibility Test showed that information systems experts got a final score of 4.67, material and content experts got a final score of 4.35, and learning media experts got a final score of 4.67. So it can be said that in terms of system, material, content and learning media, the petty cash system as a learning media in vocational schools is "worth using". The results of responses from teacher practitioners show high interest in the application being developed and it is hoped that it will be able to facilitate the learning process on technology-based petty cash material. It is hoped that the resulting system can be used as a learning medium in vocational schools, especially in office management and business service skills competencies. However, further research needs to be carried out to be able to measure the effectiveness of the petty cash system being developed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation on the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 4 Sentani.This study is a mixed method (quantitative and qualitative) study that combines quantitative and qualitative methods. Participants in this study included lecturers, students, and the principal or head of administration at SMP Negeri 4 Senatni. One administrator, twenty-three educators, and one hundred and twenty-two students were all selected by purposive sampling based on their ability to provide the necessary data. Interviews, surveys, and documentation were the tools used in this study. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification were used to analyze qualitative data, while percentage techniques were used for quantitative data.The results of the study showed that the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 4 Sentani, the results were in the very good category. Each aspect of the evaluation consists of, (1) Context evaluation with a value of 3.67, using the implementation of KOSP in schools as a guideline for its implementation is very good, (2) Input evaluation with a value of 3.28, input evaluation consisting of eight indicators is very good in supporting the implementation of the independent learning curriculum (3) Process evaluation with a value of 3.32, consisting of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation is in accordance with the guidelines for implementing the independent learning curriculum used at SMPN 4 Sentani (4) Product evaluation with a value of 3.42, product evaluation must be carried out frequently in order to determine the development and progress of student learning outcomes and encourage learning motivation after completing the learning program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMPN 4 Sentani has been very good and effective in schools that have implemented the independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pandangan masyarakat Papua terhadap pendidikan sepanjang hayat, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, hambatan, serta solusi yang relevan dengan akses dan implementasi pendidikan sepanjang hayat di Papua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Papua memiliki pemahaman yang terbatas mengenai pendidikan sepanjang hayat, yang umumnya dipandang sebagai pendidikan formal atau terbatas pada usia muda. Meskipun demikian, terdapat segmen masyarakat yang mulai menyadari pentingnya pendidikan sepanjang hayat, terutama dalam pengembangan keterampilan praktis yang sesuai dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Selain itu, temuan menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan terhadap pendidikan non-formal, seperti pelatihan keterampilan teknis dan kerajinan, sangat tinggi. Hambatan utama dalam mengakses pendidikan sepanjang hayat adalah keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesulitan ekonomi, dan keterbatasan teknologi. Meskipun ada potensi teknologi sebagai solusi, akses terbatas terhadap perangkat dan internet menjadi tantangan signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan pendidikan sepanjang hayat di Papua, perlu adanya kebijakan yang lebih inklusif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan lokal, termasuk pengembangan infrastruktur pendidikan dan literasi digital. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan di Papua, serta kontribusi terhadap pemahaman tentang pendidikan sepanjang hayat di daerah terpencil.

Abstract

ibu hamil adalah wanita yang sedang mengandung janin di dalam rahimnya, yang umumnya berlangsung selama sekitar 9 bulan atau 40 minggu. Kehamilan merupakan masa yang sangat penting bagi kesehatan ibu dan janin yang dikandungnya. Selama periode ini, ibu hamil membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam hal kesehatan, nutrisi, dan perawatan medis untuk memastikan kesejahteraan mereka dan perkembangan yang sehat bagi janin. Selama kehamilan, perhatian khusus terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan ibu sangat penting karena beberapa alasan mendasar yang mempengaruhi kesehatan ibu, perkembangan janin, dan kesejahteraan keluarga secara keseluruhan seperti kesehatan ibu dan bayi, mengurangi risiko kematian ibu dan bayi. Pada umumnya ibu hamil akan memeriksakan kandungan ke bidan desa atau puskesmas terdekat. Kondisi fisik ibu hamil yang rentan, terutama pada trimester ketiga akan menyulitkan jika harus ke bidan atau ke puskesmas untuk sekedar berkonsultasi saja, tentunya ini dapat mengganggu kesehatan ibu, apalagi jika jarak rumah ke bidan desa yang jauh. Dalam melakukan tugasnya untuk memonitor kesehatan ibu hamil, bidan desa perlu mendatangi satu persatu ibu hamil untuk menanyakan kondisinya atau ibu hamil sendiri yang datang ke bidan desa untuk memeriksakan kehamilannya. Hal ini tentunya menyulitkan dalam memonitor semua ibu hamil di lingkungan kerjanya dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Sebagai salah satu solusi yang bisa mengatasi jarak yang ada, dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang berbasis android yang berfunsi sebagai alat monitor kondisi ibu hamil. Tentu saja aplikasi ini menuntut ibu hamil untuk turut aktif dalam memasukan input data pemeriksaan secara jujur, agar hasil dari pengolahan datanya secara real. Selain bisa melakukan konsultasi chating secara realtime, ibu hamil juga bisa memperoleh informasi asupan gizi yang cocok dengan kondisi ibu hamil. Dengan seperti ini tugas bidan akan menjadi lebih ringan dan terpantu dengan baik kondisi janin maupun ibu hamil.

Abstract

This study discusses the management of educational financing and its impact on the quality of education. The quality of education is the main goal in educational management, and appropriate financing is a key factor in achieving it. This study used a literature study method to analyze educational financing standards, including investment, personnel, and operational costs. In addition, this study highlights the importance of transparency and accountability in fund management, as well as the role of financing as a driving force for other educational standards. The findings show that good fund management, in accordance with the principles of accountability, can increase the credibility of educational institutions and ultimately have a positive impact on the quality of education.
