Abstract

Critical thinking skills, independence, and low learning outcomes for most students are the essential background for this research. This problem causes the learning process carried out in class not to run optimally. This research aims to determine the influence of implementing the Jigsaw learning model assisted by e-modules on students' critical thinking abilities, independence, and learning outcomes. The approach in this research is quantitative with a Quasi-Experimental research type. The design of this research is Posttest Control Group Design. The population is classes VA and VB using total sampling techniques where all population members are used as research samples. Data collection techniques include questionnaires (measuring critical thinking abilities and learning independence) and tests to measure learning outcomes. The analysis shows the influence of using the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by e-modules on critical thinking skills, independence, and student learning outcomes in grade 5 elementary school ecosystem material. Thus, learning with the Jigsaw model can overcome students' learning problems and needs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low pedagogical competence of teachers in implementing constructivist learning and the minimal use of AI-Enhanced Learning technology at SMP Negeri 4 Sentani. Existing conventional training is considered ineffective in providing practical guidance on technology integration in learning. This study aims to develop a training E-Module that has been tested for validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving teacher pedagogical competence through the Professional Learning Community (PLC) forum. Using the modified Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model method. Field trial subjects involved 30 teachers. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests, which were analyzed using quantitative descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test and N-Gain). The results showed that the E-Module met the criteria of very valid (material experts: 3,69; media experts: 3,95) and very practical (91,05%). The effectiveness test showed a significant increase in competence (Sig. 0.000) with an N-Gain score of 0.76 (High category). The AI-Enhanced Learning-Based Constructivism Training E-Module has been proven to be feasible and effective in improving teachers' pedagogical competence and digital literacy, as well as being able to build a collaborative culture in PLC.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital literacy training module assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Waibu District. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The research location is SD Inpres Doyo Lama and SD Kristen Alam Indah with field trial subjects of 21 teachers. Data collection through validation sheets, practicality sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques include descriptive percentage analysis, Paired Sample T-Test, and N-Gain Score. The results showed that the material and media expert validators rated the module valid with an average score of 3.46 and 3.31, respectively. Practitioners rated the module very practical with a percentage of 87.08%. The effectiveness test proved the module provided a significant increase with a significance value of 0.000 and an N-Gain score of 0.61 in the moderate category. The researcher concluded that this module is feasible and effective in improving teachers' digital literacy skills and pedagogical competence. Researchers suggest teachers form learning communities to share good practices in using AI.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital transformation of school management by utilizing Google Sites. The design of this research and development uses the Borg & Gall model which consists of ten steps. However, the researcher will only reach the fifth step, namely the main product trial. The subjects in this study were the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and parents of students at SD Kristen Lentera Ambarawa. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data was validated using source and technique triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman Model. The products produced were the Google Sites website, model books and user guides. Research results: 1) The use of Google Sites can facilitate access to information for teachers, students, and parents, and strengthen the school's digital documentation system at SD Kristen Lentera Ambarawa. 2) Development of school management by utilizing Google sites with the results of content validity of management of 88.6%, while media validity was 92.5%, meeting the criteria of "very valid" or worthy of being tested. while the average trial of the Google Sites application for teachers, principals, and school stakeholders was 98%, so based on this, the development of digital transformation of school management by utilizing Google Sites at SD Kristen Lentera Ambarawa is in the very good category.
