Abstract

This bibliometric study explores the research landscape on father involvement in parenting as a foundation for family counseling interventions to prevent klitih behavior among adolescents. Data were collected from Scopus and Web of Science (2014–2024), yielding 1,245 publications. Bibliometric mapping and trend analysis were conducted using VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, and R-Studio. Findings identified four major clusters: father involvement and child development (38%), family counseling interventions (29%), adolescent risk behaviors and violence (21%), and cultural contexts in parenting (12%). Research output increased substantially, from 45 articles in 2014 to 187 in 2024, with peak interest between 2020-2022. The United States led contributions (34%), followed by Australia (18%) and the United Kingdom (15%), while Southeast Asia accounted for only 6%. Key frameworks included Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Social Learning Theory. The study highlights research gaps in culturally specific interventions and emphasizes the need for father-focused counseling models to prevent adolescent violence. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the formation of religious identity, the internalization of values, and students' spiritual attitudes in NU and Muhammadiyah boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study design. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using pattern-matching strategies based on cross-cultural psychology theories (Hofstede, Berry, and Tajfel). The results showed that the NU shapes students' values and character through internalization of symbols, traditions, and spiritual relationships. In contrast, the Muhammadiyah pesantren instills values through rational, structural, and discursive approaches. The religious identity of NU students is inclusive and communal, while Muhammadiyah students show normative and argumentative identities. These findings emphasize that the Nusantara Islam and Progressive Islam models are not only an ideological narrative, but also function as a cultural framework that shapes the psychological structure of students. This study contributes to understanding how cultural frameworks within Islamic boarding schools shape the psychological construction of religious identity, offering an integrative perspective on the relationship between educational culture and faith development. However, this research is limited to two case study sites and qualitative data; thus, further comparative studies with broader samples and quantitative or mixed-methods designs are recommended to deepen these findings.

Abstract

This systematic review synthesizes the contribution of sense of purpose to subjective wellbeing (SWB) and validates it through a bibliometric analysis of keyword co-occurrence. Using a Systematic-oriented Literature Review approach based on the PRISMA protocol, searches were conducted on the Scopus database and Google Scholar for publications in 2021–2025, resulting in 16 articles that met the inclusion criteria and were thematically analyzed, while the conceptual structure of the research field was validated through keyword co-occurrence analysis using VOSviewer against the initial recording of Scopus search results. The results of the thematic analysis identified six themes: health and aging; spirituality and existential wellbeing; sense of purpose as post-adversity psychological capital; socio-structural determinants; meaningful activities in work and social participation; and family and interpersonal relationships. In most themes, sense of purpose appears to act as a psychological mechanism linking external determinants to SWB. However, relationship patterns and directions vary across contexts and should be interpreted with caution given the dominance of cross-sectional design. Bibliometric analysis confirms the structural distinction between predictor and outcome keywords, but reveals minimal direct link strength between the two constructs—indicating terminological fragmentation, not weak substantive linkage. These findings confirm the need to consolidate terminology and adopt a longitudinal design in future studies, and provide an initial basis for interventions to strengthen the sense of purpose during life transitions.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out due to environmental and health problems in the Padukuhan Nogosari area, Dadapayu Village, Kapanewon Semanu, Gunungkidul Regency. The problem is in the form of piles of hay after harvest which can be a breeding ground for mosquitoes that cause dengue fever, especially when the rainy season arrives where humid conditions accelerate the growth of mosquito larvae. On the other hand, burning straw indiscriminately can cause land or residential fires, especially when carried out unsupervised and without paying attention to weather conditions and safe distances from buildings and dry vegetation. Therefore, this activity aims to provide education to the public about how to burn straw that is safe, controlled, and can reduce the risk of mosquito spread and help prevent fires, so that the community can maintain environmental cleanliness while avoiding disaster hazards. The method of activities includes counseling with the guidance of the Gunungkidul Fire Fighting Team (Damkar), as well as rapid fire reporting simulations so that the public is familiar with emergency response procedures and knows where to report when an emergency condition occurs. In addition, the community is also taught about the importance of early detection and rapid response to fire hazards around the house, such as recognizing the early signs of a fire and using simple extinguishers available in their respective neighborhoods. The involvement of the Gunungkidul Fire Department in this activity strengthens community cooperation in building preparedness for various potential disasters, ranging from mosquito-borne diseases to environmental fires, so that synergy is created between residents and related agencies in maintaining environmental safety and health. Overall, these service activities have a positive impact by increasing collective awareness, skills in reducing risks, and strengthening the emergency reporting system at the community level as part of efforts to build a disaster-resilient society.
