Abstract

Starting from the assumption that mathematics is identical to calculating numbers, complicated formulas, working on questions that are difficult to understand, making mathematics uninteresting to the point of having an impact on the low mastery of mathematics in students not only at the higher education level but also secondary education feels the same thing. This situation inspired researchers to change students' thinking patterns so that they consider mathematics not only about calculating numbers but more about unique learning that is definitely used and useful in everyday life so that it is fun to learn. This study aims to describe the collaboration of mathematical concepts with aquaponics to become mathematical aquaponics which can later be used in mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection method used is documentation with the data analysis method using literature study. Furthermore, the results obtained from this study indicate that mathematics is still quite relevant if collaborated with aquaponics to become mathematical aquaponics. Furthermore, mathematical aquaponics are worthy of being developed as an innovative mathematics learning medium in the future. Then, for the suggestions that can be conveyed, through this research, mathematics should be collaborated with various disciplines so that it does not only focus on calculations and numbers which are considered boring for most students, so that later mathematics will feel fun and be liked by many people.

Abstract

Background: One approach to preventing stunting among toddlers is by providing complementary food (MP-ASI) made from nutrient-dense local ingredients, particulary those rich in animal-source protein. Chicken liver and anchovy power are high protein local food products that are relatively inexpensive and accessible, making them promising candidates for use as innovative ingredients or formulations in complementary feeding. Objectives: to evaluate the physical characteristic and proximate composition of a complementary food formula based on chicken liver and anchovy flour, and to assess its potential in fulfilling the nutritional needs of toddlers. Methods: An experimental design a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. Proximate analysis was conducted at the Food Technology Laboratory of Politeknik Negeri Lampung, using standard methods from the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) to determine moisture, ash, fat, protein, and carbohydrate contents of the MP-ASI formula. Results: The analysis revealed that the MP-ASI formula contained 8,26% moisture, 65,58 g/100 g protein, 12,,74 g/100 g fat, 8,26% ash, and 5,16 g/100 g carbohydrate. The nutritional composition of the formula meets the daily requirements for toddlers, providing more than 2-3 times the recommended protein intake and fulfilling 25,48% - 28,31% of the recommended fat intake. Although the carbohydrate content is less than 3%, the high ash content indicates a considerable amount of essential minerals, particularly iron and calcium. Conclusion: T Based on its nutritional composition, the formula demonstrates strong potential as a nutrient-dense MP-ASI ingredient for stunting prevention interventions. Future studies are recommended to analyze micronutrient content (iron, calcium, zinc, vitamin A, omega-3), as well as food cost and acceptability in toddlers.

Abstract

This investigation examines the significance of Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) in facilitating sustainable tourism by scrutinizing the digital marketing methodologies and operational practices of Lombok Hidden Trip and Goodfriend Travel in the regions of Bali and Lombok. Although eWOM has been established as an influential mechanism in shaping traveler behavior, its strategic deployment in the context of sustainable tourism marketing is yet to be thoroughly investigated. This research seeks to bridge this gap by evaluating both agencies' adherence to the standards set forth by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) through semi-structured interviews, analysis of social media content, and operational assessments. The findings reveal that Lombok Hidden Trip exhibits a robust commitment to environmental sustainability, integrating eco-tours, initiatives for reusable resources, and proactive engagement on social media platforms. Conversely, Goodfriend Travel prioritizes the preservation of cultural heritage, providing Balinese culinary workshops and traditional rituals; however, it lacks a coherent strategy for the effective utilization of eWOM. Despite their respective contributions, both agencies encounter significant challenges, such as constrained financial resources, inadequate visitor awareness, and a lack of systematic monitoring of sustainability practices. To optimize sustainability outcomes, this study advocates that Goodfriend Travel enhance its eWOM engagement strategies, while Lombok Hidden Trip should broaden its sustainability initiatives. Furthermore, both agencies are encouraged to implement visitor education programs, conduct systematic sustainability audits, and provide training for staff to improve adherence to GSTC standards. This investigation highlights the transformative potential of eWOM in promoting responsible tourism and provides actionable insights for travel agencies, policymakers, and tourism stakeholders to advance environmental, cultural, and social sustainability in the regions of Bali and Lombok.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of the Unit Usaha Simpan Pinjam (USP) in Induk Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, with a focus on assessing the potential for reinvestment from a financial and non-financial perspective. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with primary and secondary data collection through a purposive sampling technique that targets USPs with high capital. The investment feasibility analysis was conducted by reviewing non-financial aspects, including legal, socioeconomic and environmental aspects, market and marketing, and management and human resources. Financial aspects were analyzed using investment evaluation tools such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Profitability Index (PI). The results showed that the USP in Desa Induk is feasible from both non-financial and financial aspects. The positive NPV, PI of more than 1, and reasonable PP indicate that the investment is profitable. However, the IRR of only 11% is still below the Minimum Acceptable Rate of Return (MARR) of 13.25%, indicating a need to improve operational efficiency. Nonetheless, the main objective of the USP development focuses more on improving the economic welfare of village communities rather than solely achieving financial returns. The USP development strategy includes a sustainable approach that is oriented towards improving the welfare of the villagers.
