Abstract

Desa Genengan memiliki potensi geografis yang mendukung budidaya anggur, namun pengembangannya oleh Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) “Sekar Arum” terkendala oleh keterbatasan pengetahuan teknik budidaya modern dan sistem pemantauan lingkungan yang masih konvensional. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota KWT mengenai budidaya anggur dan teknik grafting, (2) mengimplementasikan sistem pemantauan lingkungan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT), dan (3) menganalisis efektivitas pelatihan serta kendala adopsi teknologi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan teoritis dan praktik, implementasi demplot, serta pemasangan perangkat IoT yang memantau suhu, kelembaban tanah, intensitas cahaya, dan pH. Evaluasi menggunakan pretest-posttest dan kuesioner kepuasan. Hasil menunjukkan partisipasi 22 anggota (100%). Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 71,03 menjadi posttest 93,05 (gain 22,02 poin). Tingkat keberhasilan praktek grafting mencapai 75%. Berdasarkan angket yang telah dibagian diperoleh data bahwa keseluruhan peserta menyatakan materi yang disampaikan bermanfaat. Tingkat ketertarikan pada kegiatan 72,2% menyatakan sangat menarik serta 22,8% menyatakan menarik. Keseluruhan peserta menyatakan tertarik untuk melakukan budidaya anggur di rumah. Sistem IoT beroperasi dengan baik, meski mengalami kendala konektivitas internet. Analisis mengungkap penerimaan yang lebih tinggi terhadap materi budidaya konvensional dibandingkan teknologi IoT, serta ketergantungan pada infrastruktur digital sebagai penghambat utama. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas teknis kelompok dan membuka jalan menuju pertanian presisi. Keberlanjutan memerlukan pendampingan lanjutan, penguatan aspek bisnis, dan solusi infrastruktur komunikasi yang adaptif.Kata kunci: budidaya anggur; IoT; kelompok wanita tani; pertanian presisi; pemberdayaan masyarakat

Abstract

Alpukat (Persea americana) merupakan buah yang sudah sangat dikenal dan digemari oleh masyarakat. Alpukat diketahui memiliki khasiat sebagai antioksidan, antidiabetik dan efek hipolipidemik. Nutrisi yang terkandung dalam buah alpukat mampu membantu memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi harian tubuh. Namun, cara budidaya tanaman Alpukat  sangat berpengaruh pada khasiat atau kualitas dan kuantitas dari produk yang dihasilkan. Sehingga diperlukan pemahaman tentang cara budidaya tanaman Alpukat kepada masyarakat. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah agar masyarakat lebih memahami cara budidaya tanaman alpukat sebagai tanaman pekarangan dan mengetahui manfaat buah Alpukat dalam meningkatkan gizi keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian sudah dilaksanakan dengan metode penyuluhan dengan penyampaian materi tentang budidaya tanaman Alpukat, manfaat Alpukat, serta berbagai olahan Alpukat sedangkan pada akhir sesi dilakukan pemberian bibit Alpukat serta pupuk pada masing-masing peserta. Kegiatan yang sudah terlaksana ini bermanfaat untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Kelurahan Wonokarto tentang budidaya tanaman Alpukat dan keanekaragaman manfaat Alpukat untuk kesehatan.Kata Kunci: alpukat; budidaya; penyuluhan; pupuk

Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers and growth stimulants in the form of natural PGR is the main solution to support sustainable coffee cultivation. This research aims to determine the best treatment combination, the best dose of goat manure, and the best concentration of moringa leaf extract for vegetative growth of robusta coffee TBM 1. The research was conducted in Kemuning Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency in October 2023-April 2024. The method used was a Randomized Complete Group Design (RCBD) consisting of two factors and three replications. The first factor was goat manure (0, 3, 4, and 5 kg.plant-1) . The second factor was moringa leaf extract (0, 150, 200, and 250 g.L-1concentration). Data analysis used analysis of variance (ANOVA) at the 5% error level then continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% error level if there were significant results. The observed variables include plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of branches, leaf area, and total chlorophyll. The results showed that the application of goat manure and moringa leaf extract affected the vegetative growth of robusta coffee plants. The combination of goat manure 4 kg.plant-1and moringa leaf extract at a concentration of 250 g.L-1had an effect on increasing chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll. Goat manure had no effect on all variables. Without the moringa leaf extract had better effect on plant height and the moringa leaf extract concentration of 250 g.L-1affected the increase in leaf area 6 weeks after application.

Abstract

The demand for rice in Indonesia continues to increase but production has decreased. Efforts that can be made are the use of local varieties of mentik wangi rice. Mentik wangi rice has the disadvantages of long life, high stems, and low crop production. As a solution, plant breeding is carried out in the form of mutation by giving gamma irradiation which can improve unwanted genetic traits and produce superior varieties with the dose used of 200 gray. This study aims to evaluate the yield potential of promising mutant strains with 200 gray gamma irradiation on mentik wangi rice and get mutant strains that have superior criteria for short-stemmed, short-lived, and high-yielding. This research was conducted in the rice field of Ngampel Hamlet, Gentungan Village, Mojogedang, Karanganyar, Central Java. The research was conducted in June-October 2023. The design used was a Randomized Complete Group Design (RCBD) with a single factor, namely strains consisting of 14 mutant strains and 1 control strain with 3 repetitions. The results of observations were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at the 5% level and continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. All tested strains produced the expected superior criteria, namely short stem, short age, and high productivity.

Abstract

The black orchid or Coelogyne is one of the native orchids of Kalimantan, widely cultivated in Indonesia. Several species of Coelogyne orchids have been crossed to obtain new superior-quality plants. Modifying the media, such as giving PGR, is necessary for good plant multiplication results. This research was conducted by changing MS growing media with ZPT BA and NAA. This experiment aimed to determine the effect of ZPT BA and NAA on the growth of orchid subcultures from a cross between Coelogyne pandhurata and Coelogyne rumphii. The study used a completely randomized design (RAL) with 2 factors, namely ZPT BA and NAA, each having a concentration of 0 ppm, 0.2 ppm; 0.4 ppm, and 0.6 ppm with 16 treatment combinations and 4 replications. They were implemented at the Laboratory Plant Physiology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, UNS Surakarta, from November 2020 to March 2021. The variables observed included the number of shoots, plant length, plant weight, number of leaves, number of roots, root length, when roots appeared, and when shoots appeared. The results showed that BA 0.6 ppm gives the best output on the growth of the number of shoots, and NAA concentration of 0,2 ppm gives the best results on the variable number of roots. The combination of BA 0.6 ppm and NAA 0.2 ppm gave the best results on plant weight growth.

Abstract

Mentik Wangi is one of Indonesia's most popular rice germplasm sources due to its delicate, fluffy texture and arom aroma. Farmers switch to better varieties with high yields due to field challenges in cultivating fragrant rice. The plants are quite tall, harvest time is long, and yield is low; therefore farmers switch to superior varieties with high yields. The purpose of this research was to obtain information on how much yield of 14 mutant rice lines produce and to find mutant lines with short stems and high yields that could be developed to new varieties. The research was conducted at the Tegalgondo Rice Seed Garden Agricultural Land between June to October 2020. This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with a single factor. Each treatment was repeated three times. The data obtained analyzed with analysis of variance and followed with Duncan Multiple Range Test at 5% level if any significant influences were obtained. The results of this research showed that 14 Mentik Wangi rice lines yields were ranging from 6.70 to  8.21 tons ha-1.Stems from 9 lines with high yields were M6-MW3-G10-14-2, M6-MW3- G12-1-17,  M6-MW3-G5-21-3,  M6-MW3-G5-21-14,  M6-MW3-G6-17-14-4,  M5-MW3-G6-20-9-16,  M6-MW3-G1-1-2  M5-MW3-G1-5-47,  M6-MW3-G6-10-9-26.  These lines were potential candidates for new high-yielding varieties, which would then considered to be evaluated for higher yields or multilocation tests before becoming an official new varieties.Keywords: mentik wangi; mutations; short stem; yield potential;
