Abstract

One of the activities that can develop social emotional is through fun cooking activities at KBI Usamah Tegal City which has implemented fun cooking activities regularly every Wednesday. The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of fun cooking activities and identify supporting and inhibiting factors of fun cooking activities in developing social emotional early childhood at KBI Usamah Tegal City. The type of research in this study is field research with a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data were obtained from the principal and educators at KBI Usamah Tegal City. Secondary data were obtained from literature references and supporting documents. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of fun cooking activities in developing social emotional early childhood at KBI Usamah Tegal City consists of three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning includes determining objectives, menus, and preparation of tools and ingredients. Implementation includes opening activities (prayer, introduction of tools, and habit of washing hands), core (individual/group cooking practice), and closing (prayer, tasting the results of cooking, and cleaning the classroom). Evaluation is carried out through observation and recalling to record the development of children's social emotional. The supporting factors are the availability of infrastructure, teacher creativity, and parental support, while the inhibiting factors are the limited number of accompanying teachers and the limited availability of certain cooking equipment.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and increasingly complex global challenges have a significant impact on the mindset and behavior of today's youth. Pondok pesantren, as a traditional Islamic educational institution, plays a crucial role in shaping the character of young people, fostering good morals, discipline, and responsibility. This study aims to explore the role of pondok pesantren in character building among youth in the modern era. The research adopts a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis with pesantren leaders, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that pondok pesantren play a vital role in shaping students' character through religious education, the application of daily routines that instill discipline, and social activities that promote a sense of responsibility. Pondok pesantren also adapt to modern times by incorporating technology into the learning process while maintaining traditional values. In conclusion, pondok pesantren are effective in shaping a generation of youth who are not only intellectually capable but also possess strong character, discipline, and high moral standards.

Abstract

Vocational high schools (SMK) play a strategic role in producing graduates who are ready for work. However, students' career readiness is not only determined by technical skills, but also by their ability to plan for the future psychologically and socially. Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers have an important responsibility in assisting students to recognize their potential, set goals, and make appropriate career decisions. The research question in this study is how BK teachers play a role in preparing students' careers, what obstacles they face, and what strategies they use in providing career guidance services. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of BK teachers at SMK Ma'arif NU Kajen. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of BK teachers, identify the obstacles that arise, and explore the strategies applied in the implementation of career services. The results of the study indicate that the role of guidance counselors includes the functions of facilitator, consultant, and character developer, although it is not yet optimal due to limitations in time, resources, and school policy support. The strategies used include individual approaches, collaboration with the Career Guidance Center (BKK), and strengthening communication with students. Career services require structural support to be more effective and sustainable.

Abstract

Studi ini menyoroti Pondok Pesantren Bali Bina Insani yang berlokasi di tengah masyarakat mayoritas Hindu, dengan fokus pada peran pesantren dalam mengembangkan pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola strategi moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren menerapkan tiga strategi utama: metode kontribusi melalui partisipasi santri dalam kegiatan lintas budaya, metode pengayaan dengan integrasi materi toleransi ke dalam kurikulum, dan metode aksi sosial berupa keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan masyarakat multikultural. Implementasi strategi ini berdampak pada terbentuknya budaya toleransi, penguatan dialog antaragama, serta pengakuan publik terhadap pesantren sebagai model kerukunan, sebagaimana ditunjukkan dalam forum nasional dan internasional. Kesimpulannya, moderasi beragama yang dijalankan di Pondok Pesantren Bali Bina Insani berkontribusi pada pembentukan santri yang inklusif sekaligus memperkuat kohesi sosial di lingkungan multikultural. Temuan ini merekomendasikan agar pesantren di daerah lain dengan keragaman serupa mengadopsi pendekatan moderasi beragama sebagai model pendidikan transformatif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the worship model of Agama Djawa Soenda (ADS) from the perspective of Islamic education. This research focuses on how spiritual and moral values in ADS can contribute to character-building in Islamic education. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of ADS adherents and document studies. The data were analyzed descriptively to explore the similarities and differences between ADS worship practices and Islamic education. The results show that, substantively, ADS has many similarities with Islam, especially in the aspects of divinity, environmental preservation, respect for parents, and nationalism. However, there are differences in the technical aspects of worship, where ADS is more influenced by local Javanese culture, while Islam follows standardized worship procedures based on sharia. The study concludes that the noble values of ADS, such as nature conservation and social ethics, have the potential to be integrated into Islamic education without having to sacrifice the basic principles of Sharia. This research offers a new contribution to understanding the interaction between local religion and Islamic education, as well as the importance of an inclusive approach in education that respects religious and cultural diversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

There are three main economic activities that every individual has to do with them in his or her life to achieve economic well-being and prosperity. They are; production, distribution and consumption. Those activities concern not only with need fulfillment and profitability, but also involve human behaviour either producers’ behaviour or consumers’ behaviour. The economic men whose behaviour arises from the scarcity of means to achieve given ends, has made people to behave in a way that is in accordance with economic rationality to achieve maximization. However, rationality does not necessarily imply maximization, as the forms of rationality could be selfish and egoistic, it could also be beneficial for one individual but harmful for the society. This is, because the principle of Economics is that every individual is actuated and motivated by self-interest. In an Islamic perspective, people’s behaviour must be in accordance with the Islamic values and norms and to seek the pleasure of God the almighty. This does not mean to ignore the rational behaviour in economy, but that rationality must be in accordance with the Shari’ah and the Islamic values and norms wich in turn will guide them in dealing with economic activities to bring them into economic well-being and prosperity.

Abstract

Adolescents are in a transitional period where they seek their identity. Their thoughts and stances are constantly changing. If teenagers get good guidance from adults, they will become valuable people for themselves and their environment. Otherwise, they will be in doubt. Eventually, they will fall into a negative direction that will harm them. The purpose of this study is to explain the internalization of the values of faith and piety in the formation of personality through learning contemporary science. This research was conducted using a descriptive-analytic method with a quantitative approach. While the data collection steps used in this study were interviews, participatory observation, documentation studies, and questionnaires, The results of this study indicate that the teacher's efforts to internalize the values of faith and piety in the formation of student personality at Al Azhar 5 Islamic High School in Cirebon City through modern science learning, which includes praying before and after learning, reciting the Koran for 15 minutes the first hour before teaching and learning activities, and linking the subject matter to the content of faith and piety (imtaq), are categorized as very good based on student response data obtained by 82.2%. The obstacles faced by teachers in internalizing the values of faith and piety in the formation of students' personalities at SMA Islam Al Azhar 5 in Cirebon City through modern science learning include the lack of understanding of some teachers of non-Islamic religious education subjects in linking subjects with faith and piety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam materi asmaul husna melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di SD Negeri Kebulen Kota Pekalongan. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada mata pelajaran PAI materi asmaul husna kelas IV dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kebulen Kota Pekalongan yaitu pada Test siklus I dari 11 siswa, siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 8 orang atau dengan persentase 73 % dan siswa yang tidak tuntas berjumlah 3 orang atau dengan persentase 27 % dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 78. Selanjutnya pada Test siklus II dari 11 siswa, siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 10 orang atau dengan persentase 91 % dan siswa yang tidak tuntas berjumlah 1 orang atau dengan persentase 9 %, dengan rata-rata kelas 87.

Abstract

Konsep konstruktivisme Jean Piaget dapat diaplikasikan dalam pendidikan Islam dengan memahami bahwa anak-anak membangun pengetahuan mereka sendiri melalui interaksi dengan lingkungan. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, hal ini dapat diinterpretasikan sebagai pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa untuk aktif terlibat dalam memahami ajaran Islam dan mengaitkannya dengan pengalaman mereka. Pendekatan pembelajaran konstruktivis dapat digunakan untuk membantu siswa membangun pemahaman yang mendalam tentang ajaran Islam melalui refleksi, diskusi, dan eksplorasi aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadopsi pemikiran konstruktivisme Jean Piaget dalam pendidikan Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Validitas data yang digunakan dengan meninjau sumber-sumber relevan, termasuk jurnal terakreditasi, artikel ilmiah dan buku-buku terkait. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran konstruktivisme Jean Piaget sangat penting dan berimplikasi dalam pendidikan Islam. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kurikulum merdeka pada konsep pendidikan P5 dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pendidik untuk mengadopsi konsep pendidikan yang ada. Karena kontekstualisasi konsep pemikiran konstruktivisme Jean Piaget tersebut dapat memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pendidikan Islam dengan menekankan ajaran dan nilai-nilai agama dan moral, mengedepankan pembelajaran berbasis masyarakat serta dapat menjawab tantangan dunia pendidikan pada era modern ini.
