Abstract

This research aims to analyze studies on religious moderation in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through bibliometric analysis. Bibliometric analysis was carried out to identify research trends, dominant topics, as well as collaboration and citation patterns in related literature. The research method used was bibliometric analysis by collecting scientific publication data from various digital sources. Data is processed and analyzed using software such as VOSviewer to visualize bibliometric maps. Publication data is collected using the publish or perish application to obtain article data in journals indexed on Google Schoolar. Received 200 articles and 137 relevant articles from the 2020-2024 time period. In 2020 from 2022 to 2024 there will be an increase and decrease in the number of articles studied from the 200 articles found. Some of these topics are often discussed in relation to religious moderation. The influence of religious moderation in Islamic religious education is very significant. And individuals who have more moderate religious views tend to be more tolerant towards individuals with different religious beliefs. keyword : Bibliometric analysis, religious moderation, PAI

Abstract

Abstract. The learning atmosphere, especially in the environment, is still not optimal so that it does not have a positive impact on the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe Research Trends and Gaps in Characteristic Learning Environment in the Community: A Bibliometric Analysis (2019–2024). The approach used is quantitative which specifically uses bibliometric analysis. Data source from Crossref, a publish or perish (PoP) application with 500 articles as a sample with the keyword characteristics of the learning environment in the community for the period 2019-2024 produced 1000 articles which were then analyzed using the VOSViewer application version 1.6.20. The results of the research on the topic of characteristics of the learning environment in the community with a span of 2019-2024 show that the ups and downs of publications seem to be decreasing in 2024. The results of the research with the most publications on the characteristics of the learning environment in the community in 2020 (27 publications). Productive researchers include Michael Cann, Gary Harfitt, Marjorie Mayo, Ntimi Mtawa, Muhammad Hassan Raza, Rachael W. Shah, and Osly Usman. Based on the source from VOSViewer, a map of research development was produced, there are 3 clusters. Cluster 1 (36 items), cluster 2 (31 items), and cluster 3 (20 items). The keywords that are widely researched include characteristic, teaching, community engagement, program, and analysis. Meanwhile, those that are included in the category of research recommendations that still do not have research are community service, learning process, learner, higher education, online learning environment.  The topic of community service makes a very positive contribution in creating a learning environment and of course the learning environment is not only directly manum but must also be done through learning in an online learning environment.

Abstract

Peatlands play a crucial role in maintaining environmental balance and mitigating global climate change. Peatland damage due to human activities continues to occur. One of the efforts to deal with this problem is to improve students' environmental literacy through science learning that integrates peatlands. This study aims to analyze the dimensions and indicators used in the development of environmental literacy measurement tools in peatland integration science learning. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The results of the analysis show that environmental literacy measurement tools generally cover four main dimensions, namely environmental knowledge, attitudes towards the environment, cognitive skills, and environmental behavior or participation, with specific indicators in each dimension. The majority of existing measurement tools have not specifically integrated the peatland context. However, some recent studies have begun to develop environmental literacy measurement tools by integrating the peatland context. One example is the development of a questionnaire specifically designed to measure environmental literacy in peatland areas. The development of peatland-integrated environmental literacy measurement tools in science learning to increase students' understanding and concern for peatland conservation is urgently needed.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi sains siswa Indonesia mengharuskan adanya upaya-upaya peningkatan sehingga generasi dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa melalui penggunaan e-magazine momentum impuls berbasis prediksi-onservasi-evaluasi. Desain penelitian adalah pre-experimental one grup pretest-posttest  pada sampel 37 siswa kelas X-IPA MA Muslimat NU Palangka Raya. Instrumen penelitian berupa perangkat pembelajaran, e-magazine, dan tes esai literasi sain. Perangkat pembelajaran divalidasi isi oleh ahli dan praktisi serta validasi empiris dengan ujicoba lapangan. Validasi ahli dianalisis dengan teknik Indeks Aikens dan validasi empiris untuk soal esai literasi sain dianalisis dengan analisis butir soal klasik dengan validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, dan tingkat kesukaran. E-magazine valid dengan indeks Aikens 0,921. Soal esai literasi sains terdiri dari 3 aspek dan 7 indikator dengan 10 butir soal valid, reliabel, daya beda cukup baik, serta tingkat kesukaran sedang. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan kategori baik. Literasi sains siswa meningkat dari pre-test dan post-test secara signifikan dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada indikator mengidentifikasi pendapat ilmiah yang valid dan peningkatan terendah pada indikator penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan data kuantitatif. Literasi sains siswa yang berkembang pada tahap awal atau level sederhana, namun belum berkembang pada level kompleks. E-magazine momentum dan impuls berbasis prediksi-observasi-evaluasi dapat dipergunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi sain siswa. Upaya peningkatan literasi sains siswa harus terus dilakukan agar generasi dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan teknologi.

Abstract. In an increasingly modern and rapidly advancing era, namely where the advancement of digital era technology and knowledge, especially in the world of education, the role of teachers is very important to prepare a good generation, namely having a character in accordance with religious teachings and state norms and having communication skills. So the role of teachers is very important, especially religious teachers or Islamic religious education teachers. The purpose of this study was made where the progress of the digital era but there are still many shortcomings of students in having a character that is in accordance with religious and state law and there are still many shortcomings in communicating so that because character and communication are very important, especially in today's era and for the future, it is necessary to build student character and communication skills of students in this digital era, so in this study Islamic religious education teachers are taken or become roles in building character and communication skills of students in this digital era. As for the research method using a descriptive qualitative research method which takes data through observation, interviews, and documentation and also takes other literature that supports this research in order to become relevant research that is formed in the form of descriptive qualitative.

Abstract

Lahan gambut merupakan ekosistem vital bagi lingkungan global untuk menghadapi ancaman serius dari aktivitas manusia seperti deforestasi dan konversi lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dan mengevaluasi pendekatan, metode, serta praktik pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) yang terintegrasi dengan konteks lahan gambut, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa tentang konservasi. Melalui metodologi studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber ilmiah relevan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik mengenai ekosistem lahan gambut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis literasi sains, kearifan lokal, dan kreativitas, serta pendekatan interdisipliner yang menggabungkan aspek ekologi, biologi, kimia, dan ilmu tanah, dapat meningkatkan pemahaman holistik dan kesadaran lingkungan siswa. Penggunaan teknologi seperti simulasi komputer dan pemetaan digital terbukti efektif dalam memvisualisasikan kompleksitas ekosistem lahan gambut. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pentingnya melibatkan komunitas lokal dan pengetahuan tradisional dalam kurikulum pembelajaran. Pendekatan berbasis proyek, eksperimen lapangan, dan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif juga direkomendasikan untuk memfasilitasi pengalaman langsung dan pemecahan masalah terkait pengelolaan lahan gambut. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi untuk pengembangan kurikulum dan pelatihan guru yang berfokus pada integrasi IPA dengan isu-isu lingkungan lokal, khususnya lahan gambut. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efisien dalam mengintegrasikan IPA dengan konteks lahan gambut, guna mendukung upaya konservasi dan pengelolaan berkelanjutan ekosistem kritis ini.

Abstract

This study aims to create an integrated assessment instrument for environmental science literacy focused on thermodynamics for high school students. The research methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D), specifically using the 4-D model. Participants in the study included 34 twelfth-grade students from Public High School 1 Palangka Raya. The validity of the instrument was evaluated using Aiken's index with input from five expert validators, while its quality was analyzed through the Rasch Model. The findings indicate that the instrument demonstrates unidimensionality, with a Raw Variance Explained by Measures value of 43.2%, confirming its effectiveness in assessing the desired aspects of science literacy. Out of the 16 items analyzed, 13 were considered fitting. The instrument also showed exceptionally high reliability, boasting a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.89, and most items exhibited no gender bias, according to the Differential Item Functioning (DIF) test. This instrument's development is anticipated to assist students in connecting scientific concepts to real-world scenarios, enhance their science literacy skills, and raise awareness of the importance of environmental conservation, particularly regarding peatland preservation in Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The low level of scientific literacy in Indonesia is an important issue that must be addressed. One of the contributing factors is the lack of reliable and valid scientific literacy measurement tools. This study aims to analyze the dimensions and indicators used in developing scientific literacy measurement tools in science learning. The method used is a systematic literature review by collecting and reviewing 18 related research articles in the last 10 years. The results of the analysis show that most studies refer to the PISA framework which includes dimensions of explaining scientific phenomena, designing and evaluating research, and interpreting data and evidence scientifically. The integration of peatlands as a potential learning environment can be an innovative way to improve students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This study analyzes digital media learning innovations in teaching aqidah and akhlak in the digital era. With the advancement of information technology, digital media has become an important tool to increase student engagement and understanding of aqidah values. The use of interactive media, such as animated films and multimedia applications, has proven effective in enriching the learning experience and increasing student motivation. Although there are challenges, such as lack of training for teachers and gaps in access to technology, a comprehensive strategy can help overcome these obstacles. The integration of digital literacy in aqidah education has also been identified as an important aspect to prepare students to face modern challenges. The results of the study indicate that the use of digital media not only supports the delivery of material but also contributes to the formation of student character. It is hoped that this study can be a reference for the development of more innovative and effective teaching methods in the context of aqidah and akhlak education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which motivation influences students' learning interest in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject at MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya. The research was prompted by the phenomenon of low student interest in learning, despite the relatively high levels of motivation provided by teachers. A quantitative approach with a descriptive method was employed in this study. The sample consisted of 70 students from grades VII and VIII, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results revealed a significant relationship between motivation and learning interest, although the correlation was negative. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.009, which is less than 0.05, and a correlation coefficient of -0.330. In other words, an increase in motivation appears to be inversely related to students’ interest in the SKI subject. These findings suggest that not all forms of motivation have a positive effect on learning interest, highlighting the need to reevaluate the motivational strategies applied in schools.
