Abstract

Empowerment of the coconut oil entrepreneur community in Gelora Village, Sikur District, East Lombok Regency through the establishment of a Joint Business Group (KUBe) called GEMARA (Gelora Maju Bersama). Gelora Village has great economic potential, but the community still faces challenges in marketing and business legality. The purpose of this activity is to improve the welfare of the community through the establishment of KUBe and the creation of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for coconut oil entrepreneurs. The methods used in this activity include surveys, interviews, and data collection of business actors. This activity aims to identify the problems faced by coconut oil entrepreneurs and provide solutions through the establishment of KUBe, NIB, and halal certification. The establishment of KUBe is expected to increase access to capital, marketing, skills, and socio-economic networks for its members. In addition, business legality and halal certification will help coconut oil entrepreneurs expand the market and improve product quality. The results of this activity show that the formation of KUBe has succeeded in answering existing issues and is expected to improve community welfare and maximize the potential of the local economy in Gelora Village. KUBe members have the right to participate in the management and earn profits, as well as the obligation to comply with the rules and be active in group activities. With the potential of abundant natural resources, KUBe is expected to empower the community and create sustainable economic opportunities.

Abstract

Global environmental issues are becoming increasingly alarming and require serious attention. Enhancing students' environmental literacy is a strategic step in fostering awareness and sustainable actions. Thermodynamics in physics has the potential to be linked to environmental issues, but no specific assessment instrument is available to evaluate students' environmental literacy. This study aims to ensure the validity and reliability of the EcoThermal Literacy Assessment as an evaluation instrument for environmental literacy in learning thermodynamics. This instrument comprises four main dimensions: knowledge (physical and ecological systems, environmental issues, problem-solving solutions, action strategies), competence (identification, analysis, evaluation, argumentation of environmental issues), attitude (sensitivity, concern, environmental motivation), and behavior (environmental actions, problem prevention, resource management). The study employs the 4-D R&D model. Content validity is tested using Aiken’s V index, while empirical validity is examined through Pearson correlation. Reliability is measured using Cronbach’s Alpha, while discrimination power and difficulty levels are analyzed using SPSS 27. Most items exhibit high validity and good reliability (α = 0.802–0.936). The majority have moderate to good discrimination power, but some in the knowledge dimension have low discrimination power and require revision. The difficulty level is predominantly moderate to easy. This study focuses on evaluating the instrument's validity and reliability, without testing its impact on student learning outcomes. The findings can serve as a reference for assessment development and further research on the practicality of the instrument in physics learning integrated with environmental issues.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the field of education, including in the use of instructional media. One increasingly utilized innovation is the flipbook, a digital interactive book that presents learning materials in a visual and engaging format. This article aims to explore the trends in the use of flipbooks in education through a literature review of previous studies. The findings show that flipbooks not only enhance students’ learning interest but also support independent learning, conceptual understanding, and active learner engagement in the learning process. Furthermore, this medium is considered effective across various educational levels and subjects, especially when combined with innovative teaching approaches. However, challenges still exist in its implementation, such as limited infrastructure and teachers’ digital literacy. Thus, flipbooks hold great potential in supporting a more interactive and enjoyable digital learning transformation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many problems faced by schools in producing quality PAI learning. The aim of the research is to describe the problems of learning Islamic religious education and solutions to solving problems in Islamic religious learning in SMPN 47 and 67 Bandung City. This research is qualitative research with a case study method. The results of this study indicate that the problems faced in teaching the field of study of Islamic religious education at SMPN 47 and 67 are that many students cannot read and write the Koran properly, so that students' ability to understand Islamic religious education is lacking, students who are not ready to support in learning Islamic religious education, the ability of PAI teachers in terms of managing learning and identifying the characteristics of students is still low. Solutions to problems carried out at SMPN 47 and 67 Bandung City are motivating students in learning activities, providing special guidance on reading the Koran with the Iqro method during lessons, peer tutoring methods, getting used to reading the Koran before starting learning. Besides that, from the educator factor, teachers intensively carry out continuous professional development in an effort to improve pedagogical abilities, especially in managing learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen wawancara dalam strategi pemeliharaan akhlak berdasarkan kitab Akhlak Lil Banin di Pondok Pesantren. Instrumen wawancara dikembangkan berdasarkan pendekatan holistik yang mencakup tiga ranah: kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, sesuai teori pembinaan akhlak dari Muhammad Zuhdi (2021). Validasi dilakukan oleh tiga pakar menggunakan metode presentase, sementara reliabilitas diuji melalui rumus alpha. Instrumen dinyatakan reliabel jika nilai Alpha ≥ 0,70. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas butir instrumen memiliki skor validitas di skor persentase antara 73,33% hingga 93,33%, yang termasuk dalam kategori valid hingga sangat valid dan reliabilitas dengan skor 0,86, sehingga layak digunakan dalam pengumpulan data kualitatif.

Abstract

The deep learning approach, as initiated by Abdul Mu'ti, puts forward a mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning experience, allowing students to not only memorize but understand and internalize the material deeply. Based on the analysis of various recent literatures, it was found that this model contributes positively to the improvement of critical thinking skills, active participation, and student engagement in the learning process. This research aims to understand the notion of deep learning in education through the literature analysis method sourced from journals and other sources. This research arises from the increasing need to explore the concept of deep learning in the context of education, especially in an effort to improve the quality of learning that involves critical thinking, creative, and problem-solving skills among students. educators and the provision of adequate infrastructure. With the right support, this model has great potential to optimize the quality of education in Indonesia in preparing a highly competitive generation.

Abstract

This study explores how the Merdeka Curriculum builds character in Indonesian students by integrating moral, ethical, and national values within classroom practices and extracurricular activities. Through library research, various academic sources, books, and policy documents were reviewed to synthesize existing evidence on holistic character education. The findings indicate that the curriculum not only emphasizes academic achievement but also promotes active learning methods—such as project-based learning and student-centered discussions—that enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility. In particular, the incorporation of civic education and tolerance helps students internalize values like honesty, responsibility, and patriotism. Challenges identified include variations in teacher readiness and infrastructural limitations, highlighting the need for ongoing professional training and better resource allocation. Overall, the Merdeka Curriculum offers a promising framework for developing well-rounded, morally upright individuals who can meet modern educational and societal demands.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of gadgets in enhancing learning motivation and improving academic outcomes among junior high school students. Employing a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data from surveys and qualitative insights from interviews were analyzed to explore students’ experiences when incorporating digital devices into their learning processes. The findings indicate that effective integration of gadgets in classroom settings significantly bolsters students’ learning motivation, which in turn mediates higher academic achievement. Furthermore, mobile learning readiness, especially in science subjects, facilitates access to interactive digital content that increases student engagement and positively impacts learning outcome. The study underscores the critical role of educators in guiding technology use to maximize its benefits, and it advocates for a strategic implementation of digital tools to enhance contemporary educational practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara penggunaan gadget dan motivasi belajar siswa di SMP 3 Atap Hanau. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 15 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket skala Likert yang mencakup dua variabel utama: intensitas penggunaan gadget dan tingkat motivasi belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara penggunaan gadget dan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,956 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Artinya, semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan gadget, semakin rendah motivasi belajar siswa. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya peran guru dan orang tua dalam membimbing penggunaan gadget agar lebih terarah pada aktivitas edukatif. Dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, gadget tetap memiliki potensi sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan interaktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh praktik sholat dhuha terhadap pembentukan karakter anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 22 anak di Taman Kanak-Kanak Aqidah, Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga tahap: pretest untuk menilai karakter awal, intervensi melalui praktik sholat dhuha, dan posttest untuk mengukur perubahan karakter setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif praktik sholat dhuha dalam meningkatkan nilai-nilai karakter seperti religiusitas, disiplin, dan kemandirian pada anak usia dini. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter di institusi pendidikan anak usia dini.
