Various forms of societal violence often target women, causing significant impacts on well-being and requiring substantial recovery efforts. This research aims to comprehensively explain the different forms of violence against women in Sentra Paramita Mataram. The study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, enabling an in-depth exploration of experiences and perceptions of victims and a better understanding of the context of the violence. Primary subjects are women who have been victims of violence in Sentra Paramita Mataram, with social workers, psychologists, and nurses as informants. This approach allows for a thorough examination of the experiences and perceptions of victims, providing a nuanced understanding of the dynamics of violence against women in this specific setting. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process involves presenting data, reducing data, verifying information, and drawing conclusions. Study findings reveal that the most prevalent form of violence against women in Sentra Paramita Mataram is physical violence, including actions such as causing injuries, physical assaults, torture, and rape. Non-physical incidents of violence against women, such as verbal abuse, harassment, involvement in commercial sex work, and neglect, also receive attention. Both physically and non-physically experienced violence compels victims to seek immediate assistance at Sentra Paramita Mataram, underscoring the urgent role of the center as a support and protection hub for victims. Abstract

Research with the topic of deconstructing industrial revolution 4.0 discourse is become important to provide awareness that except spiritual concepts, absolute truth cannot exist. In the discourse of Industrial Revolution 4.0, we must see the truth as separated fragments. The discourse of the industrial revolution 4.0, is born and forced to become a new regime of truth in society. Knowledge and enthusiasm regarding the discourse of the industrial revolution 4.0 which is disseminated systematically and then manifested into regulations actually curbs people's way of thinking. Therefore, this research aims to examining overlooked meanings, or even presenting a different perspective with critical analysis regarding industrial revolution discourse in education. And also revise the facts behind the belief and enthusiasm for the industrial revolution 4.0 discourse. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a literature study method, so that data is obtained through reviewing various scientific journals related to the research theme. Research findings show 1) industrial revolution 4.0 discourse was formed because the state positioned education as an opportunity for economic activity, which then had to be adapted and lead to children's investment in the future through education, 2) The delegation of quality education to the private sector and the reduced role of the state are caused by neoliberal discourse. Problems then arise when the discourse on industrial revolution 4.0 actually ignores the right to an equitable and prosperous life and further sharpens inequality in society, 3) Each social class has different habits (habitus) to respond to readiness for the industrial revolution 4.0. Starting from media ownership and access to learning, to family cultural factors and the absence of the state in important areas of learning.

Abstract

Think Globally, Act Locally: The Contextualization of Gentle-Parenting through the Sundanese Values of Asih, Asah, and Asuh. Objective: In response to the global shift towards more empathetic parenting practices as a counter-narrative to traditional parenting, which often employs a directive approach, this study addresses the need for culturally relevant child-parenting models. It aims to explore the lived parenting experiences of contemporary Sundanese families and, subsequently, to identify how the local philosophical values of asih (nurturing affection), asah (honing potential), and asuh (protective guidance) serve as an indigenous framework to contextualize and reinterpret the principles of gentle-parenting in their daily lives. Methods: This study employed a qualitative, exploratory approach using a phenomenological method. The data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews with a small, purposively selected sample of three Sundanese families who practice an emphatic parenting approach in the Greater Bandung area. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns and convergences between lived experiences and theoretical concepts. Findings: The findings reveal a significant convergence between the two paradigms. The parenting practices of the participating families, although not explicitly labeled as such, inherently embody core principles of gentle parenting. The value of asih is manifested as the foundational practice of building secure emotional connections and validating children's feelings. The value of asah was realized through dialogical practices that stimulate a child's critical reasoning and skills. Finally, asuh was implemented as a framework of protective nurturing, characterized by consistent role-modeling and the setting of rational, rather than punitive, limits. Conclusion: The Sundanese local wisdom of asih, asah, and asuh is not merely compatible with gentle parenting but functions as a robust, pre-existing cultural framework to "ground" and legitimize its principles. This contextualization yields a hybrid parenting model that provides a culturally resonant alternative to overly permissive or traditionally directive styles, emphasizing relationships, mutual understanding, and profound respect for the child as a whole individual. Keywords: gentle-parenting, parenting, sundanese local wisdom, early childhood.

Abstract

The college environment no longer solely concentrates on reviving efforts to treat and prevent sexual violence, but also promotes prevention as a preventive strategy through sexual education, which teaches students to maximize bystanders and cultivate prosocial attitudes. The research aims to examine the effectiveness of the sexual education (X) model at the Indonesian Educational University, the Bandung Institute of Technology, and Padjajaran University in enhancing the role of the behavior bystander (Y1) and encouraging the prosocial (Y2) attitude of students when faced with sexual violence. The research employed a quantitative approach, distributing the lift among 108 active students from the three universities. To ensure proportional representation, stratified random sampling divides students by university origin and then selects random samples from each layer of students who have received sexual education on campus. Additionally, we conducted interviews with the Prevention and Treatment Unit of Sexual Violence to gather information about the implemented model of sexual education. The research findings demonstrated the effectiveness of the university-implemented sexual education model, which enhanced bystander roles by 52.5% and prosocial attitudes by 51.9%. We regard the role of bystanders and prosocial attitudes in an incident of sexual violence as a holistic solution to sexual violence prevention, as they protect victims and prevent further sexual violence.
