Abstract

This study aims to analyze how identity politics and power relations related to sexual violence in a religious campus environment. The research approach used was qualitative with a phenomenological method that can analyze the problem of sexual violence by analyzing the theory of hegemony and power relations. The informants for this study were campus officials, namely the Chancellor and his staff, the sexual violence task force and active university students with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies, then analyzed descriptively and using source triangulation techniques. This study's results showed that identity politics and power relations influence sexual violence in the campus environment. This study concludes that the problem of sexual violence by perpetrators and victims in the campus environment can happen to anyone based on identity politics. This research implies that the higher education environment should be aware of social issues, especially sexual violence caused by identity politics and power relations.

Abstract

The problem regarding the spread of hoax news has not been thoroughly handled until now, especially on social media. The flow of information circulation is very rapid, forcing people to have a deeper understanding and ability to filter news that is widespread in cyberspace. The problem is, not all people can understand this, especially for groups of people who are just getting used to using technology such as parents. Therefore, it takes the role of digital natives to be able to control and educate parents. In a family environment, someone who has a role as a native is a child. So this research will examine more deeply the role of a child as a digital native in educating his parents about hoax news. This study uses qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach. The results of the study state that there are 2 core stages when a child carries out digital education to his parents, namely the identification and confrontation stages. As for the implementation of educational efforts, a child highly upholds manners and respects the position of parents

Abstract

Aksi terorisme yang terjadi tidak lagi hanya dilakukan oleh laki-laki, perempuan pun turut ambil bagian. Dengan dalih sebagai “makmum” yang harus mengikuti “imam”, para istri pelaku teroris ini kemudian “dipaksa” mengikuti jalan perjuangan yang dilakukan oleh suaminya. Tertutupnya jalan menuju ruang publik juga menjadi penentu yang membelenggu istri untuk terlibat dalam jalan yang telah ditentukan suaminya, menjadi radikal merupakan titik mutlak jihad fisabilillah. Untuk itu, peran perempuan juga diperlukan dalam mengantisipasi semakin maraknya radikalisme di kalangan perempuan sendiri. Kajian ini berupaya mengungkap bagaimana peran perempuan dan kelompok agama mampu bersinergi dalam pendidikan anti radikalisme dalam keluarga. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis merupakan metode penelitian yang paling tepat. Teknik Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan observasi langsung salah satu kelompok agama terbesar di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Ustadzah di Pondok Pesantren Al Mukmin Ngruki, dan Ustadzah di Pondok Pesantren Gontor Putri, membuktikan bahwa perempuan atau istri tidak hanya perlu diberikan ruang publik tetapi juga penting untuk menyatukan pemahaman dengan suaminya. Peran sosial perempuan dalam kelompok keagamaan juga mendukung peran domestik perempuan dalam pendidikan anti radikalisme keluarga. Melalui penanaman nilai-nilai anti radikalisme, terdapat pola yang kemudian menjadi upaya preventif untuk membendung gerakan yang dilakukan oleh perempuan sebagai ibu rumah tangga.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual masih sering terjadi di lingkungan akademik seperti kampus. Isu tersebut banyak diberitakan di internet ataupun pelaporan langsung kepada beberapa pihak yang berwenang. Namun dari pemberitaan dan pelaporan tersebut, tidak sedikit juga pada akhirnya masyarakat cenderung lebih menyalahkan korban. Fenomena victim-blaming terhadap korban kekerasan seksual khususnya mahasiswa yang bergender perempuan menyebabkan mereka merasa kecewa, takut, dan bahkan haknya sebagai korban tidak diperoleh sama sekali. Bentuk atribusi korban kekerasan seksual ini tak jarang memacu munculnya victim mentality bagi korban karena dualisme stigma yang disematkan, sebagai korban sekaligus turut juga andil dalam terjadinya peristiwa kekerasan seksual yang menimpanya (pelaku). Hal tersebut membuat korban lebih memilih diam daripada mengungkapkan kasus yang tengah dialami karena khawatir akan disalahkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fenomena victim-blaming terjadi pada korban kekerasan seksual berbasis gender di lingkungan kampus agar dapat memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk perlindungan terhadap korban baik dari pihak organisasi mahasiswa ataupun kampus itu sendiri. Metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber triangulasi sebagai validitas data digunakan sebagai pendekatan penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi, studi pustaka, dan pendalaman wawancara terhadap korban kekerasan seksual maupun praktisi kebijakan dari kampus dengan cara purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan bersamaan dengan proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dalam penelitian kualitatif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa organisasi dan kampus dapat berperan untuk membentuk beberapa upaya preventif terhadap fenomena victim-blaming yang dapat diimplementasikan melalui program atau kegiatan yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka ataupun menggunakan media online.

Abstract

The study explores the urgency of eco-pedagogic as a social study teaching materials approach in Jakarta schools and relevant content lifted in developing social studies teaching materials by eco-pedagogics approach. This research used a qualitative method. The collected data were analyzed using triangulation techniques used the participant observation, FGD, and interview involving 28 social studies teachers at schools in North Jakarta and Kepulauan Seribu. Then, it was processed with device NVivo 12 software. The research results showed that (1) The teacher considered that eco-pedagogic approach became a need for developing social studies teaching materials in coastal schools, (2) Relevant content in eco-pedagogic-based teaching materials covered aspects of sustainability environment coast, utilization of environmental functions, and natural resource management. The development of teaching materials was carried out by considering the learning objectives that include evaluation of coastal and marine resource potential, designing solutions to environmental problems, and argument presentation. The proposed learning model in teaching materials was Project-based Learning. In conclusion, the development of ecopedagogy-based teaching materials is very needed as an environmental conservation effort, because in previous research there were no teaching materials that focused on coastal and marine environments. Then, the content contained in social studies teaching materials is eco-pedagogically based with a project-based learning model can be an enriching reference for students at coastal junior high schools in Jakarta focusing on relevant content and using appropriate learning models is expected that students can understand better and care about the coastal and marine environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh media sosial yang masih memberitakan sesuatu tanpa memperhatikan perspektif gender. Hal ini tentunya dapat memperparah kesetaraan gender karena media merupakan sumber informasi bagi masyarakat. Di tengah banyaknya media seperti itu, Instagram @magdaleneid hadir sebagai sarana yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi berperspektif gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan pengaruh @magdaleneid terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi berperspektif gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ditemukan bahwa Instagram ini memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi berperspektif gender. Hasil ini ditemukan berdasarkan analisis regresi linear sederhana yang menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,339. Yang artinya Instagram ini memberikan pengaruh sebanyak 33,9% terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi followers-nya.

Abstract

Phubbing or the act of ignoring people around you by using gadgets has a significant impact on social skills. Phubbing hinders the development of essential social skills and reduces the quality of communication in daily interactions. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the phubbing phenomenon on social skills in improving life skills among Social Sciences Education Students at the Indonesian Education University, so that it is hoped that students will know the impact that phubbing has on their social skills. This approach uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence of phubbing on social skills in improving life skills. Abstract

Go-Food merupakan salah satu fitur layanan yang terdapa pada aplikasi Go-Jek. Layanan Go-Food adalah jasa pesan antar makanan secara online, dan Go-Food berhasil menarik perhatian masyarakat hingga banyak yang mengunduh aplikasi digital tersebut. Penggunaan Go-Food yang berlebihan dapat mempengaruhi gaya hidup mahasiswa dan dapat berdampak pada perilaku konsumtif bahkan sifat hedonisme. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan Go-Food terhadap gaya hidup mahasiswa di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik simple random sampling dan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan peluang kesalahan 10% adapun hasil sampelnya sejumlah 100 responden. Intrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup. Masing-masing kuesioner memiliki tingkat reliabilitas 0,903 untuk penggunaan Go-Food dengan 20 item valid dan 0,950 untuk gaya hidup dengan 22 item valid. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana didapatkan nilai signifikansi (p) = 0,00 (p 0,05) artinya ada pengaruh positif signifikansi penggunaan Go-Food terhadap gaya hidup mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

The rise of radicalism in the campus environment has raised a lot of attention from various groups. The massive and structured movement, reinforced by propaganda through social media, has become the many factors that have resulted in the emergence and development of this movement on campus. Therefore, campuses need to take counter-radicalism policies through various structured patterns and involve the entire academic community. This study uses a mix method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The method used is sequential exploratory, which is a research method that begins with qualitative methods, namely collecting, studying, analyzing qualitative data, then carrying out quantitative studies and data analysis on 269 students at the Indonesian University of Education. The results of the research prove that the Indonesian University of Education chooses a policy pattern that is represented in three main areas, namely: 1) curriculum and learning, 2) student affairs and Student Organizations, and 3) Habituation of anti-radicalism values in the campus environment. This pattern is carried out simultaneously and comprehensively because it involves the entire UPI academic community.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of using Natuna games in understanding natural wealth on the national consciousness of the post-millennial generation (Gen-Z). The method used is Design-based Research, through the stages of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The results of the research are in the form of Game Natuna. Several validation tests were carried out on the product, namely in terms of material, media, and readability for representatives of the Gen-Z with a validation percentage in terms of material, media, and readability respectively of 95.22, 90.25, and 92.60%. Apart from that, a media implementation was also carried out on 80 Gen-Z people, where the results showed there was a significant difference in national awareness of Gen-Z who used Natuna games compared to Gen-Z who did not use Natuna games. Where students who use the Natuna game have an average national awareness score of 84.10, while those who don't use the Natuna game have an average score of 81.60. It can be concluded that the game Natuna Media developed is very suitable for use and is expected to increase awareness across generations in maintaining national resilience. It is recommended for further research to develop the Natuna game more widely and increase the sense of national awareness.
