Abstract

Social  studies Learning on the material of ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia In grade IV A SDN Cimalaka II Cimalaka Subdistrict Sumedang Regency there is a problem where students difficulty in receiving the materials. In the learning process the teacher does not design the model and learning media, So that learning is not meaningful and student learning outcomes are low. The strategy used in overcoming this problem is by applying the two stay two stray learning model with the media of cultural card. The research method used is classroom action research of spiral model and expected to improve student learning outcomes. This study was conducted in three cycles, the increase of student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 55%, 70% cycle II, and 90% 90% cycle III. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning by applying the learning model of two stay two stray with the media of cultural card can uplift student learning outcomes on the material of ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia in class IV.

Abstract

Based on the observations made on the IPS learning material heyday and the heritage of Islam Nusantara in grade V SDN Gunasari Sumedang Regency is known that the ability of students on historical material is still low. The problems that occur because of the difficulty of memorizing abstract historical material. Efforts are made to overcome the problem is with the use of Card Kingdom History through cooperative STAD type method. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in the material heyday and archaeological history of Islam Nusantara and increase student activity on aspects of cooperation. The research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. After 3 cycles, there was a significant improvement so that the use of Card Kingdom History through cooperative method of Student Team Achievement Divisions has improved the students' learning achievement of grade V of SDN Gunasari Sumedang Regency on the material of heyday and the archaeological history of Islam Nusantara

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan pemecahanmasalah siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang ditinjau dari keterbukaan dankekontekstualan masalah. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang ditinjau dari keterbukaan dankekontektstualan masalah tersebut diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dengan mengingatpentingnya pemberian berbagai jenis masalah kepada siswa dalam pembelajaranmatematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperiman dengan desainkelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen (the nonequivalent control group design). Hasil dari penelitianini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan masalahterbuka kontekstual, masalah terbuka nonkontekstual, masalah tertutup kontekstual, maupunmasalah tertutup nonkontekstual sama-sama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahanmasalah matematis siswa. Hanya saja meskipun sama-sama tergolong rendah, namunpeningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan pembelajaran berbasismasalah tertutup kontekstual berbeda dan lebih baik dari ketiga pembelajaran berbasismasalah lainnya yang mana peningkatan pada ketiga pembelajaran tersebut sama.

Abstract

 This study aims to describe the application of multimedia animation history in improving the learning achievement of IPS students of grade V SD N Cigentur. This type of research is Action Research Class (Action Research). The research design used Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The subjects of the study were the students of class V of 25 students consisting of 10 male students and 15 female students. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis technique is done descriptively, quantitative, and qualitative. The results showed that the use of multimedia can improve IPS learning achievement for students. The pre-action stage shows that the achievement of class V students in IPS subjects is low. The average grade value reached 43.68 while the learning mastery of 24%. In cycle I, students' learning mastery increased by 16% (initial condition 24% increased to 40%). In the second cycle, with the improvement and modification of multimedia learning, along with the management of group formation adapted to students 'cognitive abilities and reward, students' learning achievement increased by 48% (cycle I condition 40% increased to 88%). Learning achievement in cycle II has met the success indicator because 80% of students have reached score 70 .

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPS materi ragam suku dan budaya kelas IV di SDN Pasawahan belum mencapai nilai KKM. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan berbantuan kartu soal bernomor dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu format observasi kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, wawancara guru dan siswa, catatan lapangan, dan lembar hasil belajar. Validasi data yang digunakan yaitu teknik triangulation, member check, expert opinion dan audit trail. Hasil belajar siklus I  mencapai 35%, siklus II sebanyak 80%, dan siklus III 100% mencapai nilai KKM. Aktivitas siswa siklus I mencapai 66,25%, siklus II sebanyak 80 % dan siklus III sebanyak 90 %. Kinerja guru diperoleh persentase 78,4% dan diakhir siklus III memperoleh persentase 100%. Dengan demikian penerapan TGT terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.  Kata Kunci: Kooperatif TGT, kartu soal, ragam suku dan budaya, hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study has a purpose to compare students' understanding and motivation. The research uses quasi experimental research method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The sample used is the students of grade IV Tenjolaya 1 Elementary School. After the research is known from the significant level α = 0.05, 1) Picture and Picture method is considered not better than the conventional method in improving students' understanding and motivation with P-value (Sig 1 -tailed) of 0.068, 2) Picture and Picture method better improve student's learning motivation than conventional method with P-value (Sig. 1-tailed) of 0.002, 3) ability of understanding does not have relation with learning motivation with P-value (Sig. 2-tailed) is worth 0.119. Therefore it is concluded that the Picture and Picture method is not better in improving students 'understanding, but better in improving students' learning motivation than conventional method, and understanding ability has no relation with learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan permasalahan pada KD 3.2 Menemukan gagasan utama dengan kecepatan membaca 75 kata per menit. Siswa kelas V SDN Gudangkopi II mengalami kesulitan dalam membedakan kalimat utama dengan kalimat penjelas dan kecepatan siswa dalam membaca masih menunjukkan kriteria kurang. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai siswa belum mampu mencapai KKM. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain penelitian yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Taggart. Penerapan metode untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu diterapkan metode Jigsaw dengan teknik permainan BMW (Bingo Multicolored Word). Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, angket, catatan lapangan, dan tes hasil belajar. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, dimana setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan pada kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan metode Jigsaw dengan teknik permainan BMW dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi menemukan gagasan utama.Kata Kunci: Metode Jigsaw, Teknik Permainan BMW (Bingo Multicolored Word), Menemukan Gagasan Utama.

Abstract

Based on the unsatisfactory result of the study of students of class V SDN Sindang I on the material division of time region in Indonesia is arranged by using the snake laddergame mediaso that the learning more interesting through classroom action research (PTK) with Kemmis and Taggart design consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Instruments used, the observation patterns of teacher performance and student activieties, student learning outcomes, field notes, and vision of teacher and students. Complete study result of 29 students at initial data only 10 students (34,5%), then cycle I to 23 students (79,3%), cycle II increased to 25 students (86,2%), in the third cycle reached the target with 27 students (93,1%) complete the achievement of KKM. So, learn by using the snake ladder game media results of learning improvement class V SDN Sindang I on the material division of time region in Indonesia.

Abstract

The ability of students of Padasukaelementary school 1 grade IV in the material of natural resources and economic activity has not reached the maximum result. This is due to the use of learning models that are less varied so it looks at the results of student learning is still low. To overcome the problems faced by students, the effort that can be done is to choose the media and learning model that is expected to help the students in understanding the material of natural resources and economic activity by using TGT learning model. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning process so that IPS learning outcomes can be improved through cooperative learning type TGT in grade IVA students Padasukaelementary school 1. This type of research is a classroom action research with the design used is a spiral model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The instrument used is by observation techniques, interviews, field notes, and test results learning. While for data validation, used member check, triangulation, and expert opinion. The subjects of this study are the students of grade IVA Padasukaelementary school 1 Lesson Year 2016/2017 consisting of 28 students. This study was conducted three cycles, each cycle covering the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of research actions that have been done, overall has shown an increase both in process and learning outcomes. For the learning cycle I completed 42%, the second cycle reached 75%, and the third cycle reached 96.5%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model type TGT can improve student learning outcomes on natural resource materials and economic activities in class IVAPadasuka elementary school 1 North Sumedang, Sumedang District.

Abstract

The Effect of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Teaching Techniques on the Learning Outcome of Natural Science Subject to the students of fifth grade at V SDN Cijujung 03 Kecamatan Bogor. The research employs quasi experimental method and it shows that the average score of the class using TGT gets 7.4% with the N-gain of 1.26 and the class using Student Teams Achievement Divisions gets 5.7% with N-gain of 1.02. The T-tailed score < significance or 0.00<0.05 or Ha is accepted. It can be inferred that there is a significant effect of using  TGT and STAD on natural science subject of class 5 at SDN Cijujung 03 in the district of Bogor, the academic year of 2014-2015.
