Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin mengembangkan sebuah produk yang dapat mambantu serta efektif digunakan dalam bidang pendidikan, terutama untuk tunanetra agar mampu mengenal posisi huruf, angka, serta  simbol-simbol pada keyboard laptop. Tujuan utama dari alat ini adalah untuk membantu aplikasi NVDA atau JAWS agar lebih memudahkan tunanetra dalam belajar menggunakan komputer atau Laptop. Penelitian ini dilakukan  melalui metode penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Penelitian diawali dengan adanya sebuah masalah sehingga menghasilkan suatu konsep desain. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan sebuah produk yang diberi nama Keyboard Braille. Keyboard braille mampu membantu penyandang tunanetra dalam menggunakan komputer atau laptop, membantu mengoptimalkan kinerja dari aplikasi NVDA atau JAWS dan memudahkan bagi penyandang tunanetra yang baru belajar menggunakan komputer atau laptop.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a reading assessment instrument using digital technology for students with dyslexia. The development functions are to (1) develop a reading assessment instrument based on digital technology for students with dyslexia, (2) examine the appropriateness of reading assessment instrument using Articulate Storyline to screen students with dyslexia. The data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data was validated by the material expert, information technology expert, and language expert in elementary school. The responses were also collected from teachers and students in inclusive elementary school as the users. A validation test was performed to find out the appropriateness of the developed assessment instrument. During the validation test, the experts assessed three aspects (content, digital technology, and language) and the teachers and students also gave their responses as the users of the assessment instrument. The total score of the validation results in all categories was 778 with an average score of 155.6. The aspect of content scored 3.79, the aspect of technology scored 3.60, and the aspect of language scored 3.85, with an average score of 11.24. Thus, the validation results by experts were categorized as very good and the final product that has been developed can be used as reading assessment instrument to screen students with dyslexia.

Abstract

Dyslexia is a cognitive process failure in acquiring information when reading. Children normally have been able to read at the age of 6 or 7 while children with dyslexia might still struggle with reading even when they reach 12. This research was conducted by mingle model in order to improve reading skills for dyslexic students in primary grades. The subjects selected were 23 students with dyslexia in primary grades. The research used purposive sampling and the data collected by conducting the reading test to the students. Descriptive analysis was performed as the method and intervention technique employed was mingle model. The research was carried out continually in seven days. The assessment presented in pre-intervention and post-intervention (47% and 71% respectively) showed improvement in the average value in reading skills. Findings showed that mingle model had significantly improved dyslexic students’ reading skills in primary grades.

Abstract

Reforms on inclusive education began to be carried out in Tua Pejat area, North Sipora District, Mentawai Islands by conducting training on the implementation of inclusive education by Padang State University lecturers in the context of carrying out community service for special education lecturers, followed by elementary school teachers from six elementary schools and special school teachers from two special schools in the North Sipora sub-district of the Mentawai islands. The training was conducted with a question and answer lecture method, accompanied by a demonstration simulation method and assignments on developing a learning plan (RPP) in an inclusive class, namely modified lesson plans and modified lesson plans adapted to the characteristics and learning needs of children with special needs in the classroom. The results of the training show that collaboration between elementary and high school teachers is established, both by collaborating and cooperating in serving children with special needs in primary schools, where ing to assist elementary school teachers in matters related to the identification and assessment of children with special needs in inclusive schools, as well as working together in developing lesson plans and PPI for children with special needs in inclusive classes, and learning strategies in inclusive settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana strategi serta pendekatan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam upaya mewujudkan madrasah yang efektif. Metodologi dalam penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan kepala madrasah dalam upaya mewujudkan sekolah efektif yaitu menerapkan strategi: bartering, building, binding, dan bonding. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terwujudnya komitmen yang tinggi dari seluruh warga madrasah dan stakeholders terhadap pencapaian tujuan yang diharapkan, meningkatnya kemampuan guru untuk melaksanakan pengajaran yang efektif dan terstruktur, dan tercapainya mutu lulusan yang diharapkan. Selain itu dalam mewujudkan madrasah efektif kepala madrasah menggunakan pendekatan tranfromasional sehingga terwujudlah madrasah yang efektif. Dengan strategi dan pendekatan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang digunakan maka MTsN 10 Tanah Datar telah menjadi madrasah efektif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa media balok Cuisenaire dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 5 bagi anak tunagrahita ringan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen bentuk Single Subject Research desain A-B-A. Subjek penelitian yaitu satu orang anak tunagrahita ringan kelas II/C masih belum mengenal lambang bilangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes perbuatan. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan analisis visual grafik. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan meningkat setelah diberikan intervensi menggunakan media balok Cuisenaire. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media balok Cuisenaire dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai penerapan teknik aversi pada siswa autisme yang berperilaku stereotype yang suka menjilat tangannya. Metoda yang digunakan eksperimen single subject research (SSR), dengan desain A-B-A. Data dianalisis menggunakan visual grafik mulai dari melakukan analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi. Target behavior diperoleh hasil penghentian prilaku menjilat tangannya. Dari tindakan dan usaha yang dilakukan selama lima kali pertemuan terutama pada kondisi baseline (A1) ternyata prilaku tersebut dominan dilakukannya 80%. Selanjutnya setelah dilakukan intervensi (B) selama sepuluh kali pertemuan dengan menggunakan teknik aversi/ prompting terletak pada rentang 10%. Dan pada kondisi baseline (A2) lima kali pertemuan tanpa diberikan perlakuan, hasil persentase terletak pada 20%. Kecenderungan arah, kecenderungan stabilitas, kecenderungan jejak data, dan perubahan level menurun secara positif, serta persentase overlap pada analisis antar kondisi. Semakin kecil persentase overlap, semakin kuat pengaruh intervensi terhadap perubahan perilaku

Abstract

This research to describe the implementation of adaptive sports education for physical and motoric X disability students in SDN X. This Research use descriptive qualitative method. Data collecting technique used in form of observation, interview and documentation study. Research subject are physical and motoric X disability students and teacher sports education initially called Z. Result of research indicated that school there is no special treatment in making learning program design, but in its implementation there are some different activities which will be given to physical and motoric X disability students without diminishing the meaning and purpose of its learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate reading instruction training for teaching teachers to teach reading student with dyslexia. Training mothods uses multi methods I.e lectures vary, demonstrations, exercises and assignments. The increased aspects related to the implementation of identification and assesment, development of modification lesson plan and individualized educational program. Futhermore, reading instruction for dyslexia includes strategy and learning media as assesment of learning for students with dyslexia. .

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki latar belakang dari hambatan fisik dan motorik anak cerebral palsy yang mempengaruhi hambatan pada aspek intelektual, bahasa, sosial, emosi, psikologis dan kemampuan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Salah satu upaya pendidikan dalam memberikan penanganan khusus bagi anak cerebral palsy yakni melalui pembelajaran bina gerak yang terdapat pada pembelejaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif. Dalam pendidikan jasmani adaptif bagi cerebral palsy guru perlu mengakui bahwa aspek psikologis dari situasi kelas sama dan bahkan lebih penting daripada tujuan substantif pendidikan jasmani. Disamping itu guru perlu memiliki cara-cara kreatif dalam pengajaran agar dapat memotivasi anak. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Ada beberapa aspek yang akan dibahas meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran jasmani adaptif oleh guru penjas, serta sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
