Abstract

Inclusive education system is a new challenge for teachers in teaching and learning activity. Homogeneity in learning activity has always been there but inclusive education system brings a new setting where regular students and students with special needs learn in the same classroom. The issue emerges due to teachers’ lack of competencies in implementing inclusive education. For this reason, teachers need to be provided with training on inclusive education. This research aims to examine whether teachers’ competencies can be improved through inclusive education training, specifically for social and personality competencies. This research used associative method which aims to find the influence of training on teachers’ social and personality competencies. The samples selected for this research were 42 elementary school teachers in inclusive education. The technique of data analysis used was T-test. Findings showed that inclusive education training has improved teachers’ social competency, while it gives no influence on teachers’ personality competency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari permasalahan yang ditemukan dilapangan pada penyadang low vision yang kesulitan dalam membedakan warna dasar pada sebuah benda/objek. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan Blind Sensor Jannah yang bertujuan untuk membantu penyadang low vision dalam mengidentifikasi warna dasar pada sebuah benda/objek yang mana melibatkan indera yang ada seperti perabaan dan pendengarannya karena terdapat sensor suara yang keluar hasil dari tangkapan sensor lalu warna dasar yang terdeteksi juga ditampilkan pada aplikasi Blynk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada pengembangan alat ini adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall, yang mana didalam penelitian ini menciptakan suatu produk baru yang teruji dan dikembangkan dengan lima tahapan. Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua ahli, yaitu Ahli Teknik Elektro dan Ahli Disabilitas Netra, serta dilakukan uji praktikalitas bersama guru pendidik bidang keterampilan di PSBN Tuah Sakato Kalumbuk. Hasil uji coba oleh kedua ahli, mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil praktikalitas oleh guru pendidik bidang keterampilan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 96% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan uji validasi dan juga praktikalitas guru pendidik bidnag keterampilan tersebut, terdapat saran dan juga komentar baik dari ahli.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the implementation of learning and the constraints of learning implementation during the SMALB pandemic and how teachers deal with these obstacles, and evaluation. This study uses qualitative approach with case study type. The results describe the implementation of learning in SMALB during the pandemic which includes the implementation of learning, obstacles in the implementation of learning, the way teachers deal with obstacles, and evaluation. The curriculum used by classroom teachers is the 2013 curriculum. Teachers conduct learning in class while adhering to health protocols. The constraints felt by teachers during the implementation of classroom learning, less time and weak memory of children due to home visit learning in 2020. Teacher solutions in facing these obstacles so that learning objectives are achieved due to less than the maximum time teachers will adjust the learning indicators to the time. As for the memory of the child who is weak the teacher will repeat the learning until the child can. Evaluation on the implementation of teacher class learning using objective evaluation and essay after the end of learning.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of the implementation of Orientation and Mobility and Social Skills (OM-SK) learning at SLB N 2 Padang aimed at teachers and blind students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with research subjects consisting of teachers, blind students, school principals, and parents. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, and data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. To ensure the validity of the data, degrees of trust, transferability, attachment and certainty are used. The research results show that OM-SK learning always begins with a diagnostic assessment as a guide for learning design. OM-SK learning consists of introductory, core and closing activities face to face once a week for one hour of learning. Learning evaluation is carried out through summative and formative assessments. The implementation of OM-SK learning has obstacles and efforts to overcome these obstacles.

Abstract

Riset ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kasus yang dialami peserta didik dalam daya melisankan bunyi vokal, serta peserta didik tuli kerap salah melafalkan ataupun melafalkan bunyi. Tipe riset terapan merupakan riset sikap kategori. Informasi digabungkan lewat pemantauan, uji, pemilihan, serta diolah dengan cara kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Survey dicoba berkolaborasi dengan orang tua kategori serta aktivitas dicoba dalam 2 daur. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat sesi 60 menit. 3%, 46,6%, 50%, 56,6%; Skor AM adalah 40%, 43,3%, 46,6%, 50%. Meskipun keterampilan siswa meningkat secara signifikan pada siklus II, hasil yang dicapai IA dari pertemuan I sampai dengan 4 adalah 66,6%, 80%, 90%, dan 96,6%. Di sisi lain, AM adalah 63,3%, 76,6%, 86,6%, 93,3%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode multisensori dapat meningkatkan kemampuan melafalkan huruf vokal pada anak tunarungu kelas II SLB N 097707 Perumnas Batu VI.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan apakah model pembelajaran scramble dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal aksara Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (BISINDO) pada siswa tunarungu kelas III/C di SLB Perwari Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan format ABA. Analisis menghasilkan 10 observasi dengan menggunakan data grafik visual. Hasil pada setiap kondisi adalah sebagai berikut: baseline (A1) sebesar 28%, 28%, dan 28%; fase intervensi (B) sebesar 52%, 89%, 89%, dan 89%; dan baseline akhir (A2) sebesar 91%, 91%, dan 91%. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa model pembelajaran scramble secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal aksara BISINDO pada siswa tunarungu.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems experienced by children with hearing loss. Where children have problems in driving mobility, children have feelings of anxiety and fear when they want to drive because of the obstacles the child has. Here, researchers develop a tool that can detect horn sounds that can help children when they are driving. In this study, researchers used research and development of a horn detector helmet (HEPEKSON). The purpose of this development is for children to feel safe and not anxious in driving mobility. This Hepekson development research uses the R&D method, Bord and Gall's development theory which has 10 steps of development research, but the researchers limit these steps to five steps, namely reassess and information, planning, develop primary from a product, preliminary field testing and main. product revisions. The results of this development research for the practical aspect an average score of 28.5 the usability aspect an average score of 3 and the feasibility aspect an average score of 3. So from the validation results, the tool is suitable for use by children with hearing loss in detecting horn sounds. while driving

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang meningkatkan pemahaman anak dalam mengenal bentuk hidup rukun melalui metode sosiodrama untuk siswa tunagrahita kelas IV yang didasari dari permasalahan siswa tunagrahita ringan yang belum mampu mengenal bentuk hidup rukun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dimana keterampilan berguna bagi anak tunarungu ketika selesai menempuh pendidikan. Dimana hidup rukun sangat penting untuk diketahui siswa tunagrahita ringan karena akan behadapan dengan lingkungan masyarakat ketika selesai menempuh pendidikan. Adanya observasi, tes dan dokumentasi menjadi cara/teknik peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan dalam menganalisis meningkatnya kemampuan mengenal bentuk hidup rukun siswa tunagrahita ringan. Tindakan dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dimana setiap siklus memiliki tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi serta refleksi. Dilaksanakannya tindakan siklus I siswa tunagrahita ringan mendapat hasil MR 46%, F 54%, A 62% dan AH 54%, dan siklus II mendapat hasil MR 83%, F 87%, A 92% dan AH 83%. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan disimpulkan bahwa metode sosiodrama dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran mengenal bentuk hidup rukun untuk siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas IV di SLB Negeri Muara Bulian

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by children with total visual disabilities in memorizing Braille alphabet letters in the form of dots. To overcome this problem, researchers developed Braille Alphabet Sounds which aims to introduce blind children to the concept of alphabet letters by utilizing the senses of hearing and touch. This tool is designed to help blind children learn alphabet letters through a combination of learning from Braille letters and sounds. The research method used is the Borg and Gall development method which consists of ten steps and then modified into five research steps. The developed product was validated by several experts including electronics experts, blind disability experts, and media experts as well as practicality conducted by blind disability teachers at SLB Wacana Asih Padang and SLBN 2 Padang. The results of trials by several related experts, as a whole, obtained a score with a percentage of 82% which was categorized as very valid. While the results of the practicality test by the teacher obtained were 94% with a very practical category. Thus, the results of the validation test and practicality test carried out, there are inputs and suggestions from experts so that the Braille Alphabet Sounds tool can be used in recognizing alphabet letters in children with visual disabilities

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemampuan berhitung peserta didik penyandang disabilitas grahita ringan melalui media jumping katak di SLB Negeri Kuala Tungkal. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan penjumlahan pada peserta didik penyandang disabilitas grahita kelas II di SLB Negeri Kuala Tungkal menggunakan media Jumping Frog . Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan berkolaborasi dengan guru kelas II. Seluruh kegiatan penelitian tergabung ke dalam beberapa proses yaitu perencanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik disabilitas grahita ringan untuk tingkat kelas II SLB Negeri Kuala Tungkal sebanyak 3 orang siswa dengan inisial A, B, dan C, yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan penjumlahan rendah. Penelitian terbagi ke dalam 2 siklus yang pada tiap siklus terdapat empat tahapan dan 3 kali pertemuan pada setiap siklusnya.
