Abstract

AC motors are becoming increasingly popular in the industry due to their reliability and ease of control. It can be used in liquid mixing machines that require regular mixing of materials. The aim of this research is to control the speed of an AC motor using the PID method to ensure that the motor rotation remains stable when a disturbance occurs. The simulation results show that applying PID parameters with Kp of 4717, Ki of 41059, and Kd of 0.136 produces an error value of 8.75%. This is different from a system without PID, which has an error value of 15.2%, and these results show a performance increase of 6.45%. Therefore, the PID method is effective in improving the performance of PLC-based liquid stirring systems

Abstract

The National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia proudly present the Indonesian Ash Robot Contest (KRAI), a yearly student robotics competition where teams tackle ash-related challenges with their robot creations. At KRAI 2021, it was shown that many robots were controlled using joysticks and resulted in a lack of effectiveness in robotic motion. The use of a joystick makes the movement of the robot take longer. This is because the robot is controlled by humans and the robot has not been able to pinpoint the robot's location. Gyrodometry is a method to map the robot's position using a inner ear and compass of the machine. In this research, Gyrodometry is used to map the position based on the readings of the gyroscope sensor and rotary encoder so that the robot can move automatically. In this research, the KRAI hitter robot can map positions and move in an accurate direction and can move automatically and effectively so that it can save more time and can increase the possibility of strategy in the match. From the results of this study, it was found that without using gyrodometry the error of X reached 11.825 cm and Y reached 35.1325 cm and also the angle error reached 13.7 degrees. and by using gyrodometry error X reaches 4.25 cm and Y reaches 5.775 cm and angle error 2.01 degrees. From these results, it was found that using gyrodometry was better than without using gyrodometry. The addition of waypoints to the robot only produces an average error of 8.2 cm X and Y error of -7.8 cm and the angle error reaches 10.2 degrees.

Abstract

Abstract

The availability of blood with unbalanced blood needs causes blood service facilities to lack blood stock. The deferral in donating blood is one of the reasons for the shortage of blood stock. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of donors who experienced deferral in donating blood due to haemoglobin levels at UDD PMI Bojonegoro Regency in 2019–2022. The research design used is descriptive-quantitative through a secondary data survey. Data was obtained from the SIMDONDAR application regarding the number and characteristics of donors who experienced deferral in donor selection due to haemoglobin levels at UDD PMI Bojonegoro Regency during the 2019–2022 period. The data were analysed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results showed that the delay in donor selection was due to haemoglobin levels at UDD PMI Bojonegoro Regency for the 2019–2022 period, with as many as 3,385 donors with low haemoglobin levels totaling 2,492 people and 893 people with high haemoglobin levels. Characteristics of donors who experience delays in donating blood due to haemoglobin levels at UDD PMI Bojonegoro Regency in 2019–2022, based on age: most occur at the age of 25–44 years with a total of 198 people (51%); the most gender is female with a total of 208 people (54%); blood type occurs in O (+) in 148 people (38%); and type of work occurs in private employees in 138 people (36%).

Abstract

Generation Z learners, born into an era of ubiquitous digital technology, require robust digital-literacy skills to participate effectively in education and society. However, many students in Islamic elementary schools (madrasah ibtidaiyah) still struggle with basic computer operation, especially when confronted with computer-based testing environments. This study aimed to upgrade the digital literacy of female students at MI Al Fatah II through a structured, hands-on Basic Computer Training (BCT) program. The training emphasized fundamental computer use, file management, text editing, and online-examination simulation. A participatory action-research design was adopted, involving 25 students over three weeks. Quantitative data were collected via pre- and post-tests, and qualitative data through observation and reflective interviews. The average literacy score increased from 48.2 to 86.7, yielding a normalized gain of 0.74 (high effectiveness). Students also exhibited enhanced self-confidence and ethical awareness in digital environments. The findings highlight that gender-responsive, context-based digital-literacy programs can effectively prepare young learners in faith-based schools to engage in online learning ecosystems and align with Indonesia’s Merdeka Belajar policy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4 & 9).

Abstract

The rapid progress of information and communication technology in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution demands that younger generations possess strong technological literacy to adapt effectively to ongoing digital transformation. This study aims to enhance students’ technological literacy at SMPN 1 Karangrejo through socialization and practical activities using appropriate technology (AT). The research adopts a participatory descriptive method involving 40 junior high school students. The activities consist of four stages: preliminary observation, interactive socialization, hands-on construction of appropriate technology tools, and evaluation. Quantitative results show an average technological literacy increase of 35.2% with a normalized gain score of 0.71, indicating high effectiveness. Qualitative findings reveal enhanced student motivation, creativity, collaboration, and environmental awareness. The study demonstrates that project-based AT learning effectively transforms students’ technological understanding and attitudes, making it replicable in other schools with local adjustments.
