Abstract

Anak-anak pada fase sekolah dasar berada pada periode penting dalam tahap perkembangan mereka. Aspek-aspek perkembangan yang perlu diperhatikan pada tahap ini adalah perkembangan bahasa, emosi dan sosial. Aspek emosi bagi anak sekolah dasar menjadi penting untuk diperhatikan, karena pada fase ini anak mulai berinteraksi secara intens dengan teman sebaya dan orang dewasa. Emosi yang sulit dikelola dapat menjadi salah satu gangguan mental yang serius, sehingga penting bagi anak untuk memiliki kemampuan pengelolaan emosi yang baik. Penyuluhan ini dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum, Semarang. Dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan Service Learning (SL), melibatkan 30 orang peserta penyuluhan. Penyuluhan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan sebagai salah satu upaya preventif untuk mencegah agresivitas pada anak sekolah dasar. Hasil yang diperoleh penyuluhan ini memberikan pengaruh positif bagi siswa. Abstrak Children in the elementary school phase are important period in their developmental stage. Aspects of development need to be considered at this stage, such as language, emotional and social development. Emotional aspects for elementary school children are important to note, because in this phase children begin to interact intensely with peers and adults. Emotions that are difficult to manage can become one of the serious mental disorders, so it is important for children to have good emotional management skills. This counseling was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Ulum, Semarang. By using the Service Learning (SL) approach method, involving 30 counseling participants. This counseling was conducted with the aim of being one of the preventive measures to prevent aggressiveness in elementary school children. The results obtained by this counseling have a positive influence on students.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how UIN Walisongo Semarang students who identify as indigo adjust to their situations. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research involved three individuals living in Semarang. Interview questions were designed based on Schneiders’ self-adjustment characteristics. Data were collected through observations and interviews, with source triangulation to ensure data validity.Findings reveal that some indigo students adjust well, while others face difficulties. The first factor affecting self-adjustment is the strength of their indigo abilities; those with stronger abilities tend to have more trouble adjusting. The second factor is parenting.This study highlights the need for further research on the indigo phenomenon in Indonesia, where little scholarly attention has been given. Understanding these factors can help support indigo individuals in coping with their unique challenges.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period when individuals undergo numerous changes, including physical, psychological, and emotional shifts. Many issues arise during this stage due to adolescents' inability to regulate their emotions. Therefore, this project was conducted with the goal of enhancing adolescents' emotion regulation abilities. The study involved 36 participants ranging in age from 13 to 15 years old. The participants were students from Junior High School Hasanuddin 06 Semarang, Indonesia. The activities were performed using a conventional approach that focused on interaction between the presenter and the audience. It incorporated active learning methods, specifically interactive question-and-answer sessions and discussions. Data during study was analysed by using Paired T-test. The research results show that there is an increase in knowledge about emotion regulations among the junior high school student population (p<0.05). This finding demonstrates that the psychoeducation increased the students' knowledge and understanding of emotion and how to regulate emotions. Therefore, the results of this program can serve as a foundation for psychologists to use psychoeducation as an innovation or approach to address emotional regulation issues, particularly among adolescents. Abstract

Literacy culture is an important aspect in developing quality human resources. However, in Indonesia, the literacy rate is still low, especially among adults. To overcome this problem, Community Learning Center (CLC) plays a key role in promoting literacy culture in society. This study aims to analyze Community Learning Center (CLC) in improving literacy culture among adults in the Central Java Provincial Library. This study is a type of qualitative research using a survey method. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. Data obtained through interviews and observations were then analyzed through data reduction, then after that data presentation was carried out until the last was drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that Community Learning Center (CLC) plays a role in improving literacy culture among adults in the Central Java Provincial Library. The Central Java Provincial Library provides various programs and services so that it can provide wider access in supporting the development of literacy among adults in the Central Java Provincial Library

Abstract

Most students have faced academic demands, adaptation and socialization, especially those who have migrated far from home, which often makes them emotionally unstable. To overcome these emotions, you need an attitude of compassion towards yourself (self-compassion), namely accepting suffering, shortcomings and failures as part of life with full compassion for yourself. The purpose of this research is to analyze self-compassion in overseas students. This research uses an online qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were 5 overseas students from the Walisongo State Islamic University, Semarang. Data collection was carried out using semistructured interviews. The research results show that overall self-compassion among overseas students can be said to be quite good. However, each informant has their own differences in giving affection to themselves.

Abstract

Peran pola asuh orang tua sangat penting dalam kehidupan dan perkembangan anak, dan peran orang tua sangat penting dalam membesarkan anak. Pendekatan pola asuh yang bersifat tegas dapat dijelaskan sebagai orang tua yang memiliki kedisiplinan yang kuat. Bentuk-bentuk pendekatan orang tua dalam mengasuh anak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan kepribadian anak ketika dewasa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara terstruktur. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling non-random. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa UIN Walisongo Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa dengan pola asuh strict parents, peneliti menemukan keterlibatan antara pola asuh strict parents dengan tingkat kemandirian mahasiswa. Orang tua dalam pengasuhannya menerapkan batasan-batasan yang harus diikuti dan terdapat konsekuensi jika hal itu dilanggar.

Abstract

This research aims to find out a general picture of time management and study strategies used by students who are working and to find out how students manage their time well between work and study. This research is a type of qualitative research using the interview method. The informants in this research were students at UIN Walisongo Semarang who were working. The interview results are strengthened by very relevant research literature. This research shows that the results of students who study while working have different learning strategies and time management skills for each individual. The time management skills used are (1) making daily and weekly schedules, (2) trying to ignore things that bother them. focus, (3) commitment to goals. And the learning strategies used are (1) making a task schedule, (2) repeating the material again, (3) overnight speed system.

Abstract

Learning motivation becomes a driving force that exists from within and outside students, thus causing desire and enthusiasm in learning to achieve a goal. However, not all students have high motivation in their studies to produce academic achievements. To overcome the problem of low student learning motivation, researchers are trying to find the right solution. And the NHT type cooperative learning model is a solution as a learning model that can motivate students to learn actively, creatively, and critically in teaching and learning activities. This research is a type of meta-analysis research that summarizes similar research relevant to the topic and then draws a general conclusion. The software used in data analysis is JASP. The results of the analysis of the summary effect using a random effect model showed that there was a positive influence of the NHT learning model on student learning motivation with an estimate score of 0.841. It can be concluded that the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model has an effect on increasing student learning motivation because it can be seen from the results of 14 studies analyzed using meta-analysis to get a mean effect size of 0.841 or an effect of 84%. In analyzing the moderation effect of educational levels, elementary schools (SD) rank first with an effect size of 1.513 and a Q value of 24.85. Senior high schools (SMA) rank second with an effect size of 0.841 and a Q value of 125.384. Lastly, junior high schools (SMP) rank third with an effect size of 0.557 and a Q value of 45.209. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of the NHT model depends on the educational level.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the description of self-regulated learning that has completed its thesis. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a narrative biography research type. The subjects in this research are the subjects in this research who are participants based on predetermined criteria. The data collection technique used in this research was a semi-structured interview technique. Based on the research results, the picture of self-regulated learning for those who have completed their thesis is reflected in several factors (1) the ability to manage time (2) managing stress and maintaining motivation are important factors in completing the thesis. (3) social support from parents, supervisors and the surrounding environment also plays an important role in motivating students to complete their thesis.

Abstract

Independent learning readiness is needed for students due to student-focused learning. However, some students need higher self-learning readiness. This is certainly an obstacle for students when participating in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effect of self-efficacy on the readiness of students in central java to learn independently. This research is quantitative with an inferential approach. This study used a quantitative approach involving 101 students from central java. The research scale used is independent learning readiness and self-efficacy scales. The data obtained were then analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The statistical results analyzed using spss showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. From these results, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on students' readiness for independent learning in central java.
