Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga di Perumahan Karang Pilang Surabaya dalam meningkatkan potensi ekonomi keluarga melalui pengembangan usaha mikro berbasis makanan jajaan pasar. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan praktik langsung, mencakup pelatihan pembuatan produk, pengemasan, pelabelan, dan promosi digital melalui media sosial serta brosur online. Kegiatan ini melibatkan ibu rumah tangga usia produktif yang belum memiliki usaha mandiri. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memproduksi dan mengemas jajanan pasar secara mandiri, membuat brosur digital, serta mempromosikan produknya melalui WhatsApp. Produk peserta mulai dikenal di lingkungan RT/RW dan dipesan untuk berbagai kegiatan warga. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan semangat kewirausahaan peserta, tetapi juga memperkuat solidaritas sosial antarwarga. Beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan modal, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, dan kesibukan rumah tangga. Meski demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam membentuk kelompok usaha kecil dan membuka peluang usaha rumahan yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan lokal.

Abstract

Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) adalah program dari pemerintah untuk membantu warga yang terkena dampak dari penyakit COVID 19 dampak tersebut ialah kehilangannya mata pencaharian seseorang warga. Pemilihan warga yang terkena dampak tersebut terkadang berpihak kepada salah seseorang warga atau beberapa warga. Sehingga mengakibatkan terjadi kericuhan dan dibeberapa daerah terjadi aksi vandalisme. Pihak perangkat desa selaku pihak yang memilih warga penerima bantuan Langsung Tunai harus melakukan penilaian secara obyektif agar permasalahan tersebut dapat dihindari. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Weighted Product untuk melakukan proses perhitungan dan melakukan proses perangkingan sehingga pihak pengambil keputusan dapat melihat dan memutuskan siapa warga yang berhak menerima bantuan tersebut. Dan untuk uji kelayakan aplikasi yang digunakan oleh user menggunakan ISO 9126. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Ahmadi yang layak mendapatkan bantuan dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 0.204 dan dari uji ISO 9126 diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 78.25%. sehingga dapat dikatakan user puas akan adanya aplikasi tersebut

Abstract

Personal hygiene merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia, terutama bagi anak usia sekolah yang masih membutuhkan bimbingan. Pendidikan kesehatan memberikan arahan dan pengalaman sehingga anak mandiri dan berperilaku sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses pengembangan dan kelayakan media pop-up book berbahasa Osing. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development, dengan model ADDIE. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 12 responden uji coba. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 34 responden penelitian berusia 11-12 tahun di TPQ Al-Hasan Penataban Banyuwangi. Objek yang diteliti adalah kualitas dan efektivitas media Bularos. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, angket dan checklist untuk mengukur aspek kelayakan materi, teknik grafis dan keefektifan media. Hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh dari ahli materi adalah 76,25% (Layak), ahli media 91,25% (Sangat Layak), responden uji coba 1,81% (Layak), responden uji coba 2, 88,2% (Sangat Layak). Hasil Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test pada variabel pengetahuan, p = 0,000 dan untuk sikap p = 0,000 sedangkan untuk variabel keterampilan, p = 0,005. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada variabel pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Kesimpulannya, edukasi dengan media Pop-up book bahasa Osing efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan personal hygiene pada anak usia 11-12 tahun tentang kebersihan diri pada anak usia sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Domestic violence remains a major challenge in the administration of law and the fulfillment of human rights in Indonesia. This phenomenon is triggered by various factors, including the ignorance of the perpetrator, justification of old social norms, and weak legal awareness in the community. Law No. 23/2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence comes as a major milestone to strengthen victim protection, by emphasizing prohibited forms of violence and providing a number of special rights for victims. However, implementation in the field is often ineffective due to cultural barriers, weak law enforcement, and constraints in regulatory harmonization. This research highlights the importance of state commitment in strengthening legal protection, as well as the need for education and comprehensive strategies at various levels of society. Thus, efforts to eliminate domestic violence must be an ongoing agenda, involving the collaboration of all elements of society and responsive and inclusive legal reforms.

Abstract

Children are entrusted as well as gifts from God who are obliged to receive affection in their proper growth and development, regardless of their parents' backgrounds. However, in real life, there are some children who are born out of a legal marriage (registered by the state), this is often the target of discriminatory treatment, both from a social and legal perspective. This research aims to explore in depth the form of protection and legal status of children outside marriage based on the perspective of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. This research is a normative research with a legal approach and theories that are relevant to the research problem, and the results of the study show that according to the laws and regulations regarding the guarantee of every child to obtain legal protection and recognition, at the practical level there are still legal vacancies, especially related to the recognition of the civil status of children outside of marriage, such as inheritance rights and legal relations with biological fathers. For this reason, collaboration between the legal apparatus, state institutions, and the collective consciousness of the community is needed to ensure the fulfillment of children's rights in a fair and free manner from discrimination.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to overcome the challenges of limited incidental social assistance for 25 children at the Pondok Rajeg Orphanage, Bogor Regency. This program seeks to integrate the orphanage system with pesantren education. With a participatory approach, it not only provides material assistance such as money, clothing, prayer tools, stationery, and fans, but also includes educational assistance and religious activities in activities carried out in the month of Ramadan. This activity has proven the effectiveness of a holistic mentoring model that combines material assistance with character building, especially in boarding school institutions. An important implication of this program is the need to develop a sustainable donation system based on real needs data, as well as the importance of collaboration from various parties in addressing the problems of orphans and the poor.

Abstract

Minimum Wage is the lowest monthly wage consisting of wages without allowances or basic wages and fixed allowances. The Central Government has established a wage policy as one of the efforts to realize the right of Workers/Laborers to a decent livelihood for humanity. Adjustments to the value of the Minimum Wage, both the Provincial and Regency/City Minimum Wage, are carried out every year using a calculation formula by considering and ensuring that purchasing power is not reduced. However, the comparison of the Provincial Minimum Wage and the Regency/City Minimum Wage creates a significant minimum wage disparity and creates unfair competition. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting research on "Minimum Wage Problems Regarding Decent Living, Purchasing Power, and Wage Disparity" with the aim of analyzing the problem of determining the minimum wage based on the provisions of the applicable Laws and Regulations on Minimum Wages and to solve the problem of the Minimum Wage regarding Decent Living, Purchasing Power, and Wage Disparity based on Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation that has been amending several provisions in Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and the Constitutional Court Decision Number 168/PUU-XXI/2023 in the case of Material Testing of Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation. The research method used in this study is normative juridical. The results of the study show that the Determination of the Minimum Wage based on the Need for a Decent Life by taking into account productivity and economic growth in accordance with Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, only determines the Components, Types, and Quality of Decent Living Needs, but does not establish the Specification of Decent Living Needs which causes differences in each region, does not provide instructions and explanations of productivity and economic growth, causes a minimum wage disparity. The Formula for Determining the Minimum Wage based on Inflation, Economic Growth, and Certain Indices in accordance with the Constitutional Court Decision Number 168/PUU-XXI/2023 in the case of Testing Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation can solve the problem of the Minimum Wage regarding Decent Living, Purchasing Power, and Wage Disparity by considering the Variables of Inflation and Economic Growth in the formula for determining the Minimum Wage will ensure that the Purchasing Power of the minimum wage will not be decreased, the Certain Index is a variable of Decent Living Needs which includes food and beverages, clothing, housing, education, health, recreation, and old-age guarantees to realize Decent Living, and Standardization of Guidelines for Components, Types, Specifications, and Quality of Decent Living Needs to ensure that the calculation method of each region is the same that can solve the Wage Disparity.

Abstract

The community service program through the implementation of Fish Farming in Buckets (Budikdamber) was carried out in Situpete Village, Sukadamai, Tanah Sareal, Bogor City, aiming to enhance food security and empower family-based economies. The participatory method involved several stages, including field surveys, socialization, hands-on training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results showed that the community successfully mastered the basic techniques of Budikdamber, producing catfish and water spinach harvests within a relatively short period. This program not only contributed to household food security but also opened opportunities for micro-home businesses. Key success factors included strong community participation, support from neighborhood leaders, and the active role of Karang Taruna as youth mobilizers. Challenges faced were limited initial capital, water quality maintenance, and restricted space in densely populated areas. With continuous mentoring and support from local government and universities, Budikdamber has the potential to become a sustainable community empowerment model.

Abstract

Dental handyman practices in Indonesia are a popular healthcare alternative, especially for low-income people. However, violations of authority by dental handyman, such as dental installation that hasn't comply the standard, create significant health risks for consumers. This study analyzes the juridical aspects related to these violations based on Law Number 8 Year 1999 on Consumer Protection and Minister of Health Regulation Number 39 Year 2014. This research uses a normative juridical approach with data from legal literature, laws and regulations, and official documents. The results show that the illegal practice of dental handyman is influenced by weak supervision, lack of understanding of regulations, and low consumer awareness. The government needs to strengthen regulations, improve supervision, and provide education to the communities to reduce the risks of the practice. Recommendations include developing training for dental handyman, more strict law enforcement, and consumer awareness socialization.
