Abstract

Purpose of the study: Motivation to learn to read the Qur'an is a driving force that arises both from outside and from within a person or student who encourages them to carry out noble worship activities whose rewards are multiplied by Allah if they read them seriously and play an important role in giving enthusiasm, enthusiasm and pleasure in learning to read Al-Qur'an. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation to learn to read the Qur'an of students at Madrasah Nurul Jihad, indicators of learning motivation. Methodology: This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The population in this study were 13 grade IV students and 28 grade V students at Madrasah Nurul Jihad. Data in this study were collected using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed using the percentage formula. Main Findings: The research shows that: students of grades IV and V at Madrasah Nurul Jihad are very good at learning to read Al-Qur'an. All learning activities to read the Qur'an are carried out, but not optimal or perfect. The indicator of learning motivation is taken from the operational concept. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research presents findings that illustrate how the madrasah environment, family support, and students' internal factors influence their motivation to master the skill of reading the Al-Qur'an. By understanding these motivations, this research provides valuable insights into the development of more effective and in-depth learning approaches in the madrasa context, which can increase interest and quality of Al-Qur'an learning for students.

Abstract

Background: Pregnant women were one of the prone groups to nutritional problems, where during pregnancy the need for iron increased so that they were at high risk of anemia. This happened because the nutritional needs of the mother and fetus increase so that they were at high risk of it. Objective: This research is to find out the effect of provision of mandiri pocket book (kusadari) consumption knowledge and compliance tablet for adding blood for pregnant mothers. Method: This research type was a Quasy Experimental Design with a pretest-posttest design used. The subjects of this study were pregnant women in the first and second trimesters and the number of samples was 35respondents. Data were taken using a questionnaire and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: There was a difference in the knowledge score at the end of the study before and after education with pocket book media (p = 0.000), while the compliance score at the end of the study showed a difference in compliance before and after education with pocket book media (p = 0.000). Conclusion: There was an effect of providing an independent monitoring pocket book on the knowledge and compliance of the consumption of Blood-Added Tablets (TTD) in pregnant women. Abstract

Tourism is a crucial economic sector in regional development, including Watubangga Beach, Southeast Sulawesi. Despite its significant potential, efforts to market and promote this destination have yet to be optimal in attracting tourists. This project aims to leverage digital technology to enhance the appeal of Watubangga Beach, aiming to provide substantial benefits to both the local community and visitors. Methods employed include field observations, interviews with tourism managers, establishment of social media accounts, mapping the location on Google Maps, providing entrance tickets and tourism brochures, coastal area cleanup, and installation of directional signage. This article discusses digital-based tourism promotion strategies to increase visitor numbers to Watubangga Beach. By maintaining cleanliness, utilizing social media, and actively involving tourists, it is hoped to create satisfying tourist experiences. The digital marketing strategies are expected to directly benefit tourism managers by boosting visitor numbers and advancing tourism at Watubangga Beach.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that commonly affects adolescents. One of the psychological impacts experienced by victims of cyberbullying includes depression, anxiety, and stress. This study aimed to examine the relationship between cyberbullying and levels of depression, anxiety, and stress (DAS) among adolescents in Salatiga City. A quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach was used. Data were collected using two stages of questionnaires: the first was the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire-Revised Version (OBVQ-R) to assess exposure to cyberbullying, and the second was the Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale 42 (DASS-42) to measure psychological symptoms. A total of 151 adolescents participated in the study, conducted from January 17–29, 2024. Statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test showed significant relationships between cyberbullying and depression (p = 0.000), anxiety (p = 0.001), and stress (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Cyberbullying is associated with varying levels of depression, anxiety, and stress in victims. Due to its persistent and hard-to-avoid nature, it causes significant emotional distress among affected adolescents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kualitas audit eksternal dan karakteristik komite audit terhadap praktik manajemen laba pada perusahaan subsektor rokok yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2016-2023. Metode menggunakan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling, di mana populasi terdiri dari lima perusahaan rokok yang terdaftar di BEI, dan sampelnya melibatkan data informasi keuangan dari empat perusahaan tersebut.Tehknik analisis yang diterapkan yaitu regresi linier berganda, serta uji asumsi klasik seperti uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolinearitas, dan uji autokorelasi menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kualitas audit eksternal tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan atas praktik manajemen keuntungan perusahaan rokok. Tetapi, karakteristik komite audit menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap praktik manajemen keuntungan. Secara simultan, baik kualitas audit eksternal maupun karakteristik komite audit berpengaruh terhadap praktik manajemen laba. Abstract

Depression is a mental disorder that is common in the world. Depression can cause difficulty concentrating, affecting once social functioning, and adjusting difficulty, and can even lead to suicidal behavior for individuals who have severe depression. Adolescence is a period of development, and during this period, adolescents often experience a period of identity and ambiguous crisis. This crisis identity causes adolescents to become unstable, aggressive, the conflict between attitudes and behavior, emotional and sensitive shakiness, too fast, and rash to take extreme actions. The purpose of this study was to identify depressive symptoms in adolescents in high school. Quantitative research with this survey approach involves students from SMA NEGRI 1 SALATIGA who were chosen randomly (random sampling). Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance of 0.05. A total of 175 participants consisted of grades 10 and 11, consisting of 75 male students and 100 female students. The results of the study showed that 24% of male students were identified with symptoms of depression while females, there were as many as 40% identified as depressive symptoms. The limitation of this study is that it only uses one variable, showing the percentage of depressive symptoms in early adolescents.

Abstract

The increasing number of older people in Indonesia impacts the care process. Culturally, the eldest in Indonesia are cared for by other family members. On the other hand, several older people live in nursing homes during their old age. While in the nursing home, the eldest are cared for by health workers or nursing home administrators physically, psychologically, and spiritually to maintain or improve their quality of life. However, the elderly living in three retirement homes in Salatiga City are at risk of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension (70%) and high cholesterol (23%), loneliness, and sleeplessness (41%). The purpose of the community service is to provide group activities therapy to older people living in nursing homes. The activities included cognitive exercises (drawing, writing) and psychomotor (brain gymnastics and song movements). The service results showed that the eldest expression was happy and eager to follow the activities. The involvement of students also reduces the loneliness of the eldest, who have not received visits from their families for a long time. Group therapy activities can train cognitive and psychomotor skills and reduce feelings of loneliness in the elderly.

Abstract

Kaldu merupakan produk olahan sebagai penyedap rasa, produk kaldu yang beredar dipasaran banyak terbuat dari olahan daging ayam atau daging sapi dalam bentuk kaldu bubuk dan kaldu blok. Adapun bahan lain yaitu ikan gabus dijadikan sebagai bahan utama pembuatan kaldu blok alami makanan. Kelebihan 100 gr ikan gabus mengandung 6,2% albumin dan 0,001741% Zn. Kaldu dapat juga dapat ditambahkan dengan bahan pangan lokal seperti jamur. Bubuk kaldu jamur merupakan salah satu produk olahan jamur. Pembuatan bubuk kaldu jamur umumnya dilakukan dengan metode spray drying. Salah satu jamur yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bubuk kaldu adalah jamur grigit. Zat – zat yang terkandung dalam jamur grigit adalah lemak, karbohidrat, enzim, vitamin, dan mineral, dengan adanya produk kaldu ini diharapkan dapat menambah lama daya simpan. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui daya terima kaldu blok ikan gabus dengan penambahan tepung jamur grigit (ikabusja) sebagai alternatif penyedap rasa. Metode penelitian: Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian eksperimen yang berupa uji coba untuk mengetahui daya terima kaldu blok ikan gabus dengan penambahan tepung jamur grigit dengan menggunakan 4 perlakuan yaitu 10%, 20%, 30% dan 40%. Dilakukan di Dusun Asong, Desa Aur Sampuk, Kecamatan Sengah Temila Kabupaten Landak. Hasil penelitian : Berdasarkan uji tingkat kesukaan masyarakat yang dilakukan pada panelis hasil tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan 1 dengan konsentrasi 10% untuk kategori warna 48%, aroma 36%, rasa 48% dan tekstur 36%. Hasil analisis proksimat terhadap kaldu blok ikan gabus dengan penambahan tepung jamur grigit menunjukkan bahwa kadar abu pada kaldu blok yaitu sebesar 11,20%, energi dari lemak 33,39 kcal/100 g, lemak total 3,71%, kadar air 22,42%, energi total 284,07 kcal/100 g, karbohidrat 29,61% dan protein 33,06%. Kesimpulan: Daya terima panelis terhadap warna, aroma, tekstur rasa kaldu blok ikan gabus dengan penambahan tepung jamur grigit terdapat pada perlakuan P1 dengan konsentrasi 10%.

Abstract

Abstract    The study investigates the use of non-digital gamification in junior high school English learning, involving seven graders in Jambi Province. The research used Classroom Action Research and two cycles of gamification. Results showed that students found the learning process more interesting and stimulating, with engagement levels significantly increasing. The implementation of each cycle resulted in a 22.5% overall increase in engagement.

Abstract

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease in sufferers of the joints of the hands and feet which experience joint inflammation, which causes swelling. Pain can cause damage to the joints. It is estimated that around 1.7 billion people experience problems with the musculoskeletal system and it is estimated that this will increase in the next 10 years. Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferers are 35% in Purwakarta Regency. This research uses Pre-Experimental quantitative research with a One-Group Pretest Posttest design. The results of research using warm red ginger compresses which were carried out for 5 days and within 15 minutes each day for one respondent, there was a decrease, initially on a scale of 5 and on the last day to a scale of 3. From the results of the research conducted by researchers, it was in line with the journals taken and there was a decrease by applying a warm red ginger compress. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis, the mean pain before the warm compress was applied was 5.57 ± 1.73, while the average pain after the warm compress was applied was 3.80 ± 1.42. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Paired Samples Test, it was found that ρ value = 0.000, with a value of α = 0.05 (ρ < α), meaning that there was an effect of warm compresses with ginger on the intensity of pain in elderly people with rheumatoid arthritis at the 23 Ilir Palembang Health Center. 2022 with an average score difference of 1.77
