Abstract

The low achievement of students' science literacy in Indonesia, as shown by the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), indicates a gap between students' mastery of concepts and their ability to apply them in real-life situations. One relevant approach to addressing this challenge is the provision of learning media based on socio-scientific issues in the form of interactive, multimodal, and hypercontent e-modules. This research aims to explore the needs of students and teachers as the basis for developing the e-module. The research subjects involved 71 students and two science teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Bayung Lencir. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The observation results show that learning remains teacher-centered, lecture-dominant, and relies on a limited package of books, and is less related to daily life. Student interviews revealed that science learning tends to be monotonous; however, they show a strong tendency towards visual-based and group discussion-based learning. Direct practice, as well as digital media that are integrated with environmental, health, and technological issues. The teacher emphasized the need for innovative media that is contextual and digital-based. The questionnaire data reinforces this finding, where 74.6% of students are looking for additional materials outside of the package book, 54.9% need additional learning media, but only 9.8% have used e-modules. In addition, almost half of the students (49.2%) stated that they prefer digital-based learning and are interested in science materials related to socio-scientific issues. This finding confirms the urgency of developing hypercontent e-modules with socio-scientific issue-content as a pedagogical as well as technological solution to support the defense of science that is more meaningful, collaborative, and contributory to improving the science literacy of junior high school students.

Abstract

Peredaran skincare tanpa izin edar kini semakin mudah ditemukan, terutama di media sosial. Banyak konsumen yang tergiur oleh klaim hasil cepat dan harga murah tanpa menyadari risiko dibaliknya. Padahal hak konsumen untuk mendapatkan informasi yang jelas dan keamanan dari produk yang telah digunakan telah diatur dalam hukum indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sejauh mana hak tersebut benarbenar terpenuhi dalam kasus penggunaan skincare ilegal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kurangnya literasi konsumen, lemahnya pengawasan digital, dan serta maraknya pelaku usaha yang mengabaikan apa saja hak dan kewajiban pelaku usaha serta hak dan kewajiban konsumen.Kata kunci: Hak konsumen, Izin Edar, Keamanan Produk

Abstract

Warisan budaya Melayu Riau merupakan komponen penting identitas nasional Indonesia yang harus diperkenalkan dan dilestarikan lintas generasi. Proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini mengatasi keterbatasan paparan siswa sekolah dasar terhadap warisan budaya lokal dengan memanfaatkan Museum Sang Nila Utama sebagai platform pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang nilai-nilai budaya Melayu Riau melalui studi banding terstruktur yang memungkinkan pembelajaran eksperiensial di luar kelas. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan, memanfaatkan tinjauan pustaka dan observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas siswa selama kunjungan. Data dikaji secara deskriptif untuk menangkap pola-pola yang berkaitan dengan literasi budaya siswa dan interaksi mereka dengan koleksi museum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Museum Sang Nila Utama tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai gudang artefak sejarah, tetapi juga sebagai ruang pendidikan yang efektif untuk memperkenalkan sejarah lokal, nilai-nilai tradisional, dan identitas daerah. Selama kunjungan, siswa menunjukkan kemampuan untuk mengenali dan membedakan berbagai kategori benda cagar budaya—seperti geologika, biologika, etnografika, arkeologika, historika, humismatika, ludologi, keramologika, serta alat musik tradisional dan seni rupa—yang secara kolektif mencerminkan kekayaan warisan Melayu Riau. Observasi lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa kunjungan studi mendorong keterlibatan aktif, meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif siswa, dan mengasah keterampilan psikomotorik mereka melalui interaksi langsung dengan artefak budaya. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan keterlibatan masyarakat ini menggarisbawahi peran strategis museum dalam pendidikan budaya dan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman melalui kunjungan studi merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya dan melestarikan warisan Melayu Riau bagi generasi mendatang.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period between childhood and adulthood, during which time they are looking for their identity and therefore need the right assistance. One thing that is done is to develop the character profile of Pancasila students with teenage wirid. This teenage wirid is not only for reciting the Koran but also for carrying out religious activities, both obligatory and sunnah. The method used is community education, namely counseling to educate teenagers and provide understanding to develop the character profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membentuk wirausaha desa berbasis kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris) dan bajei (Salvinia molesta) di Desa Tewang Karangan, Kecamatan Pulau Malan, Kabupaten Katingan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah proses produksi yang belum memenuhi standar PIRT dan Halal, kemasan yang belum layak pasar, serta sistem pemasaran yang masih tradisional. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, dan pendampingan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dokumentasi, serta kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan produksi, pengemasan, dan pemasaran digital masyarakat. Produk olahan kelakai dan bajei kini memiliki label, nomor PIRT, dan telah dipasarkan melalui ritel modern serta platform online. Selain itu, terbentuk satu unit UMKM desa sebagai bentuk kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat. Program ini mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), program nasional Makanan Bergizi Gratis (MBG), dan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) perguruan tinggi. Pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat potensi ekonomi desa berbasis pangan lokal.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) khususnya dalam konteks pengelolaan keuangan, melalui pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif dan kontekstual yang mengadopsi analogi metodologi agen rahasia. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMKS Merah Putih Bekasi dengan metode partisipatif yang menggabungkan sosialisasi konsep, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi berbasis permainan edukatif bertema "Agen Rahasia". Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep keuangan sederhana, kemampuan analisis masalah, serta keterampilan merumuskan solusi yang rasional dan sistematis. Selain itu, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keaktifan, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa dalam diskusi kelompok. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis simulasi dengan elemen gamifikasi dan role-playing terbukti efektif sebagai metode alternatif yang menarik dan kontekstual dalam penguatan kompetensi berpikir tingkat tinggi pada pendidikan vokasi, khususnya untuk materi yang memerlukan analisis situasional dan pengambilan keputusan strategis dalam bidang keuangan.

Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a global development framework that is human-centered and inclusive. SDG 3—Good Health and Well-Being—targets the prevention of endemic diseases caused by waste accumulation (Target 3.3) and the reduction of mortality and illness resulting from pollution and contamination of air, water, and soil (Target 3.9). Kendal Hamlet, Samirono Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency, faces challenges in realizing healthy and prosperous community living, particularly due to low public awareness of clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors and limited household waste management capacity. To localize and “ground” SDGs at the grassroots level, the community service team implemented a 3-day Live In program using a participatory approach. Students lived with local host families, acting as foster families, to conduct joint observation, discussion, and collaborative, two-way solution implementation, aligned with Whole Person Education principles and the SDGs commitment to no one left behind. The program improved environmental health literacy, promoted safer pesticide application through the use of personal protective equipment, and introduced housefly mitigation strategies based on sanitation and local wisdom. The activities ran successfully and received highly positive responses from residents and hamlet authorities, demonstrating that immersive community engagement strengthens local capacity and encourages sustainable, collective action in support of SDG 3 achievement.

Abstract

The student empowerment program through computer network cabling training at SMA Usdatara was implemented to enhance technological competence while strengthening social solidarity within the school environment. From the perspective of sociology of education, this activity not only focused on developing students’ technical skills but also emphasized collaboration, interaction, and the formation of positive social relationships throughout the learning process. The program was carried out by a team of university students through stages of observation, socialization, training, and evaluation, engaging participants actively in hands-on cable assembly, device introduction, and group-based practice. The results indicate that the training generated dual impacts. In terms of technological competence, students gained a better understanding of basic computer network concepts and were able to practice proper cabling techniques. Socially, the activity enhanced solidarity through teamwork, peer assistance, and cooperative communication during practical sessions. The interactions between university students and high school participants also demonstrated a dialogical and participatory learning process, in which social experiences played an essential role. Overall, this program shows that technology-based empowerment can simultaneously serve as a means of fostering constructive social bonds within the school community

Abstract

Program pemberdayaan ibu untuk mencegah malnutrisi anak melalui pemanfaatan pangan lokal dan praktik responsive feeding dilaksanakan di Desa Rasau Jaya II, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku ibu dalam pemberian makan balita yang tepat serta mendorong pemanfaatan pangan lokal sebagai sumber gizi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi bahan pangan lokal, uji coba resep, edukasi gizi, praktik langsung responsive feeding, dan evaluasi menggunakan observasi perilaku ibu serta metode Comstock untuk mengukur sisa makanan. Sasaran pada kegiatan ini adalah ibu dengan balita berjumlah 36.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada perilaku pemberian makan ibu, di mana ibu yang sangat responsif meningkat dari 11% menjadi 75%. Sebagian besar balita (62%) mampu menghabiskan porsi makanannya, menunjukkan penerimaan baik terhadap pangan lokal. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kapasitas kader posyandu dalam edukasi dan pendampingan ibu balita. Program ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan praktik pemberian makan yang positif dan dapat direplikasi sebagai model intervensi gizi berbasis masyarakat di tingkat desa

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a public health priority in Indonesia, including in West Kalimantan Province and the city of Pontianak, where prevalence rates are still above the national average. This condition is influenced by various prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal factors, necessitating a comprehensive analysis of its determinants at the local level. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between birth history (birth weight and birth length), exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding (PMT), and maternal height with the incidence of stunting among toddlers in South Pontianak in 2024. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach, involving 1.000 toddlers selected through stratified random sampling, and data were analyzed using Chi-Square and logistic regression tests. The results showed that birth weight (p=0.002), birth length (p=0.002), PMT (p=0.003), and maternal height (p=0.016) were significantly associated with stunting, where low birth weight increased the risk by 1.8 times, short birth length by 1.55 times, and maternal height <150 cm by 1.4 times, while PMT acted as a protective factor (OR=0.62) despite a higher prevalence of stunting among recipients; exclusive breastfeeding was not significantly associated (p=0.471). In conclusion, stunting is influenced by prenatal and maternal factors, highlighting the importance of strengthening maternal nutrition, early growth monitoring, and optimizing targeted supplementary feeding programs (PMT) as key strategies for prevention.
