Abstract

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) is one of the attractive natural tourist destinations in Indonesia, especially in East Java. Besides having natural wealth and beautiful scenery, TNBTS not only offers tourism, but also a fertile agricultural sector. However, the development and management of the sector has not yet been optimized so that it has not had an equitable impact on improving the economy of citizens and the welfare of the community, especially in Tosari District, Pasuruan Regency. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to empower the economy of the community in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) Tosari District, Pasuruan Regency. The findings show that there are 9 farmer groups in the Tosari sub-district that have developed superior products, namely potatoes. The problems experienced by farmer groups in the Tosari sub-district are subsidized fertilizers and the weather that often changes. Another problem faced by farmers in Tosari District is the purchase of harvested goods at low prices by middlemen. So, in this case, the government needs to play a role in supplying subsidized fertilizers and educating farmers regarding climate change. Farmers' groups can synergize with Karang Taruna groups to market and promote Tosari's specialty processed products. Farmers' groups can also synergize with academics in making Tosari's specialty products.

Abstract

This study analyses the effect of foreign tourist expenditure, government expenditure and foreign investment on wage inequality between skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labour in the Indonesian tourism sector. The study uses time series data with a period of 22 years. The method used is Error Correction Model (ECM). The results of this study indicate that foreign tourist expenditure and government expenditure increase inequality in the short term, but in the long run can reduce wage inequality. Meanwhile, foreign investment increases inequality both in the short and long term.

Abstract

According to the BPS, female part-time workers became massive during the Covid-19 pandemic as a result of the pandemic. The home industry has a good role in absorbing female workers, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The objective of this research is to identify the effect of time spent for working, wages and level of education on the performance of female part-timers in the home industry post the Covid-19 in Kediri Regency. The data of this quantitative research was harvested from questionnaires distributed to 154 respondents. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that the data is free from classical assumption problems, besides that the variables of working time, wages and level of education have a significant positive effect on female’s part-time performance. The implication of this research is that it is necessary to improve the wage system, and it is necessary to increase the ability of human resources so that performance is better.

Abstract

Education is considered a crucial factor in measuring a nation's progress and the morality of individuals and the state. Entrepreneurship education at the elementary school (SD) level is critical to shaping students' entrepreneurial character from an early age. The community engagement activities at Madrasah Diniyah Darul Ulum have successfully provided a fundamental understanding of entrepreneurship through a theory and practice approach involving active student participation. This approach creates an interactive and empowering learning environment. Students who were initially hesitant to speak became more confident and creative in expressing their ideas. These activities reinforce the foundation of entrepreneurial understanding and equip students with the practical skills needed to initiate and run small businesses. To enhance the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education, it is recommended to continue these activities by organising entrepreneurship fairs or business bazaars, providing a real platform for students to apply their knowledge and skills in the entrepreneurial world.

Abstract

Abstract The development of information technology can encourage local economic activities in the community, namely entrepreneurial activities. By utilizing information technology, MSME players can increase market share through digital technology. Therefore, the focus of this service activity is socialization regarding the use of digital marketing in Kerjen village, Blitar Regency. This service activity was carried out in two stages, namely socialization regarding the use of digital marketing and focus group discussions to find out the problems faced by MSME players. From the results of the Focus Group Discussion, it is known that the main goods/products produced by the majority of residents in this village are of course related to the agricultural sector, such as fruits, namely oranges, vegetables, rice, corn, eggs and fertilizer. Apart from the agricultural sector, Kerjen village also has a developed livestock sector such as goats and cattle. However, the MSMEs in Kerjen village are experiencing problems in marketing their products. From the results of service activities, it is known that (i) MSME actors have not fully utilized digital marketing in marketing their products (ii) Some MSME actors who use digital marketing can further increase their market share. Keywords: MSMEs, digital, economic growth, local economy Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi dapat mendorong kegiatan ekonomi lokal masyarakat yaitu kegiatan berwirausaha. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi maka pelaku UMKM dapat meningkatkan pangsa pasar melalui teknologi digital. Oleh karena itu, focus dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi terkait pemanfaatan digital marketing di desa Kerjen, Kabupaten Blitar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui dua tahap yaitu sosialisasi terkait pemanfaatan digital marketing dan focus group discussion untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM. Dari hasil dari Focus Group Discussion diketahui bahwa Barang / produk utama yang dihasilkan oleh mayoritas warga di desa ini tentunya berkaitan dengan sektor pertanian seperti buah-buahan yaitu jeruk, sayur mayur, padi, jagung, telur maupun pupuk. Selain sektor pertanian, di desa Kerjen juga tergolong maju sektor peternakannya seperti ternak kambing, sapi.Namun, pelaku UMKM desa Kerjen ini mengalami kendala dalam hal pemasaran produknya ini. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa (i) Pelaku UMKM belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan digital marketing dalam memasarkan produknya (ii) Beberapa pelaku UMKM yang menggunakan pemanfaatan digital marketing dapat lebih meningkatkan pangsa pasarnya.

Abstract

Penerapan UU No 33 Tahun 2014 mengenai sertifikasi halal, untuk usaha kuliner, pengurusan Sertifikat Halal berlaku hanya sampai tahun 2024. Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) telah menerbitkan UU UU 33 Tahun 2022 tentang Juknis Pendamping Proses Produk Halal. Oleh karena, pengurusan sertifikasi halal diberikan jangka waktu hingga tahun 2023, maka Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pendampingan sertifikasi halal produk pada UMKM sektor makanan-minuman di Kecamatan Grati, Pasuruan untuk mendukung akselerasi Jaminan Produk Halal pada UMKM.Pengabdian ini berfokus pada usaha sektor makanan minuman binaan LAZISNU (Lembaga Amil Zakat dan Shodaqoh) di Kecamatan Grati, yang terpusat di Sentra UMKM Pujasera di Desa Gratitunon, sebagai bagian dari upaya edukasi dan advokasi bagi pelaku UMKM untuk menyiapkan diri merespon aturan mengenai legalitas Halal Produk, dan memberikan pendampingan untuk self declare. Metode pengumpulan data dengan pembagian kuesioner sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion dan Sosialisasi Prosedur Pengajuan Sertifikasi Halal oleh Tim Pengabdian.  Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa (i) pelaku UMKM tidak banyak yang memahami proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal (ii)kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap konsep halal (iii) berdasarkan hasil FGD diketahui pula tidak sedikit UMKM yang sudah mendapatkan sertifikat halal. iv) terdapat beberapa produk potensial sebagai produk khas Kecamatan Grati tetapi masih belum mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Implementation of Law No. 33 of 2014 regarding halal certification, for culinary businesses, the processing of Halal Certificates is valid only until 2024. The Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) has issued Law No. 33 of 2022 concerning Technical Assistance for Halal Product Processing. Because the processing of halal certification is given a period of up to 2023, the purpose of this activity is to provide assistance with halal product certification to MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Grati District, Pasuruan to support the acceleration of Halal Product Assurance for MSMEs. This service focuses on sector businesses. food and beverage assisted by LAZISNU (Amil Zakat and Shodaqoh Institute) in Grati District, which is centered at the UMKM Pujasera Center in Gratitunon Village, as part of an education and advocacy effort for MSME actors to prepare themselves to respond to regulations regarding the legality of Halal Products, and provide assistance for self-declaration. The data collection method is by distributing questionnaires while the method used is Focus Group Discussion and Socialization of Halal Certification Submission Procedures by the Service Team. The results of community service activities show that (i) not many MSME actors understand the process of applying for halal certification (ii) there is a lack of public understanding of the halal concept (iii) based on the results of the FGD it is also known that not a few MSMEs have received halal certificates. iv) there are several potential products as typical products of Grati District but they have not yet received halal certification.

Abstract

The existence of gadgets for students can have a positive or negative impact. To minimize the negative impact of using gadgets, the service team carries out community service activities aimed at supporting economic development in elementary school students through entrepreneurial learning. Method of Implementation This service is carried out by delivering material related to entrepreneurship. To ensure that elementary school children understand entrepreneurship, groups were formed and asked to express their opinions and be active in discussions. Then, these elementary school students will be given rewards or gifts for those who are active in the discussion process. The results of the community service activities regarding entrepreneurial learning for elementary students were positively responded by teachers and students. With this service activity, elementary school students can increase their insight regarding entrepreneurship and can foster an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. Moreover, the use of smartphones can be used as a means for entrepreneurship. Keberadaan gadget bagi para siswa dapat memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif. Untuk meminimalisir dampak negative dari penggunaan gadget, tim pengabdian melakukan kegitan pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan ekonomi pada siswa Madrasah melalui pembelajaran wirausaha.  Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara penyampaian materi terkait kewirausahaan. Untuk memastikan anak-anak MADRASAH ini memahami terkait kewirausahaan maka dibentuk kelompok dan diminta untuk mengemukakan pendapatnya dan aktif dalam diskusi. Kemudian, siswa Madrasah ini akan diberikan reward atau hadiah bagi yang aktif dalam proses diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian mengenai pembelajaran wirausaha pada siswa Madrasah direspon positif oleh para guru dan siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran wirausaha ini. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini, siswa Madrasah dapat bertambah wawasannya terkait kewirausahaan dan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha di usia muda. Terlebih, penggunaan smartphone dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai srana untuk berwirausaha.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah dalam ekonomi merupakan masalah penting yang perlu dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan terus menerus. Karena peran UMKM sangat penting, maka dilihat dari jumlah tenaga kerja yang terserap dapat mengurangi tingkat pengangguran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 200 dan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah SEM menggunakan alat Smart-PLS versi 3.0. berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa karakteristik wirausaha dan modal usaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha terdapat pengaruh positif secara signifikan. Strategi pemasaran terhadap keberhasilan usaha berpengaruh postif dan signifikan, dan kemampuan usaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha terdapat pengaruh negatif secara signifikan. Dari uji mediasi menunjukkan karakteristik wirausaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha dimediasi perkembangan usaha dikatakan Non Mediation. Modal usaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha dimediasi perkembangan usaha dikatakan Partial Mediation.kemampuan usaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha dimediasi perkembangan usaha dikatakan Full Mediation. Strategi pemasaran terhadap keberhasilan usaha dimediasi perkembangan usaha dikatakan Partial Mediation. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan KKN, penerapan sistem pelaporan KKN dan sanksi pelanggaran terhadap kepatuhan mahasiswa dalam melakukan laporan KKN yang dimoderasi pemahaman peraturan KKN Unisla dan kualitas dosen pembimbing lapangan dengan studi kasus mahasiswa KKN Unisla tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan kuantitatif research dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner. Metode penentuan sampel menggunakan metode perhitungan menggunakan rumus slovin. Sampel yang diproses adalah 298 kuesioner dengan menggunakan program Smart PLS versi 3.2.9. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan sanksi pelanggaran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan mahasiswa dalam pelaporan. Pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan KKN dan penerapan sistem pelaporan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepatuahn mahasiswa dalam pelaporan. Pemahaman peraturan dan kualitas DPL berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepatuhan mahasiswa dalam pelaporan. Pemahaman peraturan dan kualitas DPL mampu memediasi antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen. Abstract

Realizing food security in Indonesia is facing multidimensional problems and challenges in terms of economic aspects. Meanwhile, the challenges to achieve food security at the macro level are becoming increasingly difficult as the trend of food supply and demand is moving towards the opposite direction. In terms of supply, food supply is predicted to be increasingly difficult due to the physical, economical and environmental constraints on its growth. On the other hand, in terms of demand, it is predicted that food demand will continue to grow in line with the population growth, economic development, and the dynamics of the strategic environment.East Java has a great potential for supporting national food security due to its relative extent of agricultural land. In addition, the overflow of production factors in the form of land is the capital for East Java to develop the agricultural sector for improving food security. This study aims to describe the potential of food security and its relation to the efforts for reducing poverty in Lamongan. The results showed that rice, corn, and soybean commodities are the main commodities of agricultural food crop sector in Lamongan. These three commodities contribute and generate high productivity, in fact, does not affect the rate of poverty. Despite the various efforts performed, however, the increase in productivity has not been encouraging. Further, the Poverty Depth Index in Lamongan is precisely increasing. Therefore, Adult Equivalent (AE) method was used as a method to equalize child consumption needs with adult population by calculating the economic scale for calculating poverty rate. The results of the AE method revealed that the economic scale in adult categories needs to be prioritized on corn and soybean farmers.
