Abstract

ABSTRACT Hospitalization is a process for planned or emergency reasons that requires a child to be treated or stay in hospital to receive treatment which can cause several changes in the child's psychology, such as unknown doctors and nurses and disruption to their lifestyle. For a child, illness and hospitalization cause stress in his life. Abstract

Abstract

In developing MSMEs, the government, community, and educational institutions can provide support, especially in terms of providing branding training. Research shows that branding can increase the competitiveness of MSMEs, and factors such as product quality, price, and promotion influence it. Therefore, this activity aims to provide 'branding' assistance for Micro Food and Beverage Business Actors (MSMEs) in Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. This is done to support the increase in women's empowerment in managing MSMEs in the area by involving Fatayat NU Grati District as a partner. This community service activity began with identifying partner problems (Fatayat NU Grati District) by dividing them into groups accompanied by the FEB UB Community Service team. The community service results revealed that partners' primary issue was a lack of understanding about product branding procedures, which led to less attractive product labeling, limited word-of-mouth marketing, and limited funding.

Abstract

Female labor absorption is an important indicator of inclusive economic development; however, in West Java Province, a gap remains between the large number of women of working age and the level of their absorption in the labor market. This study aims to analyze the effects of the female working-age population, education as measured by average years of schooling, and the minimum wage on female labor absorption in West Java Province during the 2019–2023 period. This research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression methods across 27 regencies and municipalities. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and regulations on district and municipal minimum wage determination. The results indicate that the female working-age population has a positive and significant effect on female labor absorption, while education, the minimum wage, and the Covid-19 pandemic conditions do not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that the increase in the female population is a key factor driving female labor absorption. This study contributes to the literature on female employment and provides policy implications for local governments in formulating strategies for job creation and the sustainable improvement of female human resource quality.

Abstract

The achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), relies heavily on the performance of civil servants in delivering public services. This study examines the effects of work culture and work motivation on ASN performance and their contribution to sustainable development in Malang City. A quantitative approach was employed, using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) 4.0, with a stratified random sample of 100 ASN from sub-district offices and community health centers. Results indicate that work culture positively influences civil servants' performance (? = 0.449; p < 0.001) and SDG achievement (? = 0.433; p < 0.001). Work motivation also exerts a positive effect on performance (? = 0.339; p < 0.001) and SDGs (? = 0.363; p < 0.001). ASN performance significantly contributes to sustainable development (? = 0.290; p = 0.002) and mediates the relationship between work culture and SDGs (indirect effect = 13%) and between motivation and SDGs (indirect effect = 9.8%). These findings demonstrate that fostering a strong work culture and high motivation among civil servants directly and indirectly enhances sustainable development outcomes, providing empirical evidence linking civil servant performance to local SDG implementation.   Keywords: Work Culture, Work Motivation, Performance, ASN, SDGs

In ASEAN, the growth of financial inclusion is sorapid that it reaches every element of society. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examineforecasts of financial inclusion, poverty, and inequality in ASEAN. In addition, the study alsoanalyzes the correlation between financial inclusion, poverty, and inequality in ASEAN. Thestudy uses the ARIMA and GMM models for the study period from 2000 to 2022. Projectionsshow that most ASEAN countries have experienced an increase in the long-term financialinclusion index, with Thailand leading the ranking, followed by Malaysia. However, the role offinancial inclusion in poverty does not seem to be so significant in the short term, most likely dueto the still-difficult access for low-income groups.
