Abstract

Changes to the higher education curriculum are carried out periodically. This curriculum change must involve both internal and external stakeholders and must be in accordance with the National Higher Education Standards. The problem is that the Independent Learning Curriculum policy has been implemented by universities, but the 8 independent learning programs offered by the Ministry of Education and Culture have not shown satisfactory results. The challenge of implementing an independent learning curriculum from a student's point of view has not been done much, even though students are the stakeholders who are most affected by the implementation of this curriculum. In connection with these conditions, the purpose of this study is to describe the challenges of students in the MBKM program at the University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. The stages in this research use case study research with a mixed approach. The quantitative stage was carried out by means of a survey to students at the University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa about the perception of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. This quantitative stage was analyzed descriptively quantitatively. In this qualitative stage, the students who were interviewed were conducted by purposive sampling. At the qualitative stage, it was done by analyzing the documents and the results of interviews about the independent learning of the independent curriculum. The results showed that the MBKM including its documents had been socialized to students. Although the results of the socialization did not produce a good effect because students did not understand about the number of semesters that could be equated in the form of MBKM outside their university, they had a positive perception of the usefulness of MBKM activities.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the application of process (1) niteni, (2) nirokke, and (3) nambahi on the student textbook Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IX SMP Kurikulum 2013. Niteni is give a mark and pay attention carefully using all sense with the process. Observing use vision sense, hearing sense, smelling sense, touching sence, dig the information more deeper from the result of the observation and reasoning with connecting the knowledge that already owned from the result of excavation. Nirokke is repcating what is already taught by the model/ example/from teacher/ the source study with involve, thinking, sensing, feeling/ conscience and spiritual with integral and hormontous with the process: repeating with writing, repeating with movement, repeating with experiment, repeating with demonstratiang/ practicing, repeating with rerving. Nambahi is and ing reducing what is already taught by the model/ example from the teacher/ the source sudy with developing creativity and idea with the process adding with desarning, adding with creating/ making, and adding with improvitation. The research is descriptive qualitative research the data of the research is word, phrase, sentence, paragraph and discourse that the contain is about the application of process niteni, nirokke, nambahi. Te result of the research shows that the application of the process niteni, nirokke, and nambahi already on the textbook.

Abstract

Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) di Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa telah diimplementasikan, walaupun 8 program merdeka belajar yang ditawarkan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan dan kebudayaan belum menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan. Hal ini dikarenakan kualitas pengelolaan MBKM belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi asah-asih-asuh dalam program MBKM di Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, yaitu bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengelolaan MBKM di kampus Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Sampel penelitian adalah pengelola MBKM yang meliputi 187 orang dosen dan 56 orang tenaga kependidikan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui angket kemudian dilaksanakan focus group discussion (FGD). Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang meliputi reduksi data, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa pengelolaan MBKM dilakukan dengan pendekatan sistem among yaitu pengelolaan yang didasarkan berjiwa kekeluargaan dan bersendikan kodrat alam dan kemerdekaan. Pengelola MBKM bertindak sebagai pamong yang menerapkan prinsip asah-asih-asuh (mendidik, mencintai dan membina). Implementasi prinsip asah ditunjukkan dengan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas dosen dan tendik mengetahui sebagian besar isi kebijakan MBKM. Penerapan prinsip asih ditunjukkan dengan keinginan dosen dan tenaga kependidikan untuk merekomendasikan program MBKM agar diikuti oleh mahasiswa. Prinsip asuh berhubungan dengan unsur pembinaan dan pembimbingan. Prinsip asuh ini diindikasikan dari kesediaan dosen menjadi pembimbing dalam kegiatan MBKM.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan karakter dipercaya mampu menjadi penyelesaian berbagai masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Program Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) merupakan rumusan pendidikan karakter terkini di Indonesia di mana peserta didik diharapkan mampu mengembangkan enam profil pelajar Pancasila: (1) Beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME, dan berakhlak mulia, (2) Berkebhinekaan global, (3) Bergotong royong, (4) Mandiri, (5) Bernalar kritis, dan (6) Kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan P5 adalah pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning) di mana siswa diharapkan bisa mendapatkan pengalaman belajar informal melalui struktur belajar yang fleksibel (dibanding pembelajaran formal di dalam kelas), pembelajaran yang interaktif, dan berinteraksi secara langsung dengan lingkungan di sekitarnya untuk memperoleh berbagai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kegiatan P5 yang diadakan mampu menampakkan atau menanamkan keenam profil pelajar Pancasila itu. Metode penelitian dan pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Peserta penelitian ini adalah kedua puluh dua siswa kelas dua SD Srepeng, Semanu, Gunung Kidul yang mengikuti program P5 pengurangan sampah plastik dengan cara mengolah sampah botol plastik menjadi tempat pensil sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama aktivitas para peserta menunjukkan keenam profil pelajar Pancasila yang diharapkan. Abstract

The development of the Sigil e-book media which is used in language learning for fourth grade elementary school students is expected to increase motivation and language skills. This article will explain some of the findings of a preliminary study conducted for the development of the Sigil e-book media used in students’ language learning in fourth grade elementary school. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The field studies carried out included: obtaining information about the needs for developing Indonesian language learning resources. The results of this study are expected to serve as the basis for the development of Sigil e-book media used in language learning for fourth grade of elementary school to increase students' motivation and language skills. E-books are preferred over printed books on the grounds that they are more practical and economical so that they can attract students' interest in reading and can be used as a medium used to improve language skills. Character values can be inserted in the Sigil e-book media.

Abstract

The use of media is very important for teachers in learning. However, the lessons given so far seem textual and boring. This is due to the lack of knowledge and ability of teachers in making interesting variations of learning media. For this reason, Powtoon animation media is needed, so that learning becomes more meaningful and students feel enthusiastic in participating in learning. The purpose of this school action research is to describe the improvement of teacher competence in developing Powtoon animation-based learning media through workshop activities. This research uses a school action research method with two cycles. The subjects are teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Yogyakarta with 33 teachers. Collecting data with questionnaires, assignments, and observations. Based on the analysis results, this workshop includes two cycles with four stages each (Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Reflection). Based on the results of the first cycle, the teacher's competence in making Powtoon animation is 70.24% including the Enough category so that in developing new learning media products 41.67% are collected and in the Less category. Next, Cycle II was carried out with mentoring strategies by researchers in collaboration with colleagues. From cycle II data, the competence of teachers in making Powtoon animation is 98.02%, including the Very Good category, and the product results have reached 100% and the Very Good category. This shows an increase in teacher competence in developing Powtoon animation-based learning media.

Abstract

The context of this study is the Society 5.0 period in the field of education. Children’s education begins in elementary school. All human potential must be developed via education if people are to develop into people who can uphold moral principles. As a result, the Indonesian government is creating primary school textbooks that may include moral principles in the teaching and learning process. This research looked at character education from Lickona's perspective in English textbooks at the 4th grAde Indonesian Elementary school. Descriptive qualitative research of this kind includes steps of data gathering, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-making. The result shows that English Textbooks for Fourth Grade Elementary School Students Curriculum Merdeka apply characters based on Lickona's perspective from all aspects, although not every chapter has each character aspect based on Lickona's perspective.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program based on one of Tamansiswa's teachings, namely Tri N (Niteni, Nirokke, and Nambahi) at Panggang Tanjungsari State Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach. Informants or resource persons for this research consisted of school principals, teachers, student guardians, and students of Panggang Kapanewon Tanjungsari Elementary School, Gunungkidul Regency. Methods of data collection in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research conducted show that the School Literacy Movement has been carried out regularly at this school since 2018. At Panggang Tanjungsari State Elementary School, researchers implemented the Tri-N-based school literacy movement from the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara, namely Niteni, Nirokke, and Nambahi. The parties involved in supporting the policy of the School Literacy Movement at Panggang Negeri Elementary School are all members of the school community including principals, teachers, staff, students, and parents. The implementation of the Literacy Movement at SD Negeri Panggang based on the teachings of Tri N Ki Hajar Dewantara is carried out through the Reading Corner Program, mandatory library visits, reading time programs, making wall magazines, and writing competitions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation and learning of TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school IPS subjects. This research method uses qualitative disripive research methods. TPACK stands for Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge. In Indonesian can be interpreted as knowledge of technology, pedagogy, and content. TPACK is a framework for education researchers and practitioners, in an effort to package and develop learning models to achieve learning goals through a better process. TPACK learning is one of the strategies that can be implemented with IPS learning in elementary school to improve learning outcomes. With TPACK-based IPS learning will provide meaningful IPS learning that has an impact on learning outcomes and a conducive learning climate. The hope is that through the Implementation of TPACK Learning (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) can improve the learning outcomes of IPS Class IV elementary school subjects

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran Teknologi Layanan Jaringan dengan menggunakan model Project Base Learning. Project Base Learning merupakan model yang sangat menarik dan mulai banyak diterapkan beberapa tahun terakhir ini karena menekankan pada efektivitas pembelajaran. Melalui Project Base Learning pembelajaran berlangsung dengan mencari solusi atas permasalahan keseharian yang ditemui. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas XI TKJ A. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan dokumentasi penilaian hasil belajar dan observasi. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif komparatif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan model Project Base Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran Teknologi Layanan Jaringan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan siswa secara praktikal dari pra siklus yang hanya sebesar 65,71% meningkat menjadi 77,14% pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 85,71% pada siklus ke II, dan terus meningkat pada siklus ke III mencapai 88,57%. Sedangkan presentase hasil pengamatan keaktifan siswa pada siklus I mencapai 75%, meningkat menjadi 83% pada siklus II, dan terus meningkat pada siklus ke III mencapai 88%.
