Abstract

This study aims to identify internal and external factors, specifically the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, to formulate strategies for business development. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze and interpret the data systematically. Data collection techniques include interviews with the company owner and employees, as well as direct observations at the company site. he strategy formulation process utilizes internal and external factors through a SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis results yield IFAS and EFAS scores, which are further analyzed using the Internal-External (IE) matrix. Based on the findings, the recommended strategies for the company include market penetration, market development, product and technology development.

Abstract

Bojonegoro Regency has the nickname "Food and Energy Granary", is one of the districts that participates in oil and gas exploitation projects, especially those managed by PT Exxon Mobile Cepu Limited (EMCL). The discovery of oil sources in Gayam District resulted in the conversion of agricultural land into the oil and gas industry. The majority of the people earn their living as farmers with a low average education level. The existence of the oil and gas industry causes agricultural land to experience significant decline and this has a changing impact on the social and economic life of the community around the location. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the conversion of agricultural land and analyze the socio-economic impact of carrying out land conversion activities for the people of Gayam District. This research uses multiple linear regression methods to analyze influencing factors and descriptive qualitative methods are used to analyze the impact of land conversion. The results of this research show that the factors that influence land conversion are policy factors, land coverage, land area and farming experience. Meanwhile, factors that do not influence are education, farmer's age, number of family dependents and crop harvest age. The social impact felt by society is the emergence of inequality in social strata and a shift in the workforce, where the farming profession is decreasing. Viewed from an economic perspective, it shows that the cost of living is increasing, although some people have experienced a decrease in income, but quite a few people have seen their income increase. Existing policies need to be further improved to protect the welfare of local farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of housewives to improving the economy of farming families in Bangkok Village, Gurah District, Kediri Regency. Housewives, in addition to carrying out domestic roles, also play a role in supporting the family economy through various productive activities, both in the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors. The method used in this study is a qualitative quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of several informants selected purposively. The results of the study indicate that housewives make a significant contribution to increasing family income, including by helping on agricultural land, running household businesses such as trading, sewing, or producing processed foods, and managing family finances wisely. Supporting factors include family support, access to skills training, and availability of free time, while the obstacles faced include limited capital, time, and market access. Thus, housewives have an important role in encouraging the economic welfare of farming families in the village.

Abstract

Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan Indonesia yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi, khususnya kopi lanang robusta yang memiliki keunikan rasa dan potensi pasar yang luas. Namun, pengembangan pemasaran kopi lanang robusta di CV. Kopi Citarasa Persada, sebuah UMKM di Kecamatan Tutur, Kabupaten Pasuruan, menghadapi berbagai kendala seperti produksi terbatas, rendahnya kesadaran konsumen, persaingan yang ketat, dan distribusi yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) merumuskan strategi pengembangan pemasaran kopi lanang robusta yang efektif dengan menganalisis kondisi internal dan eksternal perusahaan, (2) memberikan rekomendasi strategis guna meningkatkan daya saing produk, Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan analisis SWOT dan QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CV. Kopi Citarasa Persada berada dalam posisi mendukung strategi agresif, di mana kekuatan perusahaan seperti memiliki cita rasa unik dan kualitas produk harus dimaksimalkan untuk memanfaatkan peluang pasar kopi spesialty yang semakin berkembang. Strategi prioritas yang direkomendasikan meliputi penguatan branding, diversifikasi saluran distribusi, pengembangan kemasan yang menarik, serta peningkatan edukasi konsumen mengenai keunggulan kopi lanang robusta. Rekomendasi strategis menekankan kombinasi market penetration dan product development secara berkelanjutan, dengan perluasan jangkauan melalui kolaborasi bersama influencer dan pengembangan varian produk untuk menarik segmen baru.Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan perencanaan dan implementasi strategi pemasaran yang tepat, CV. Kopi Citarasa Persada tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan memperluas pangsa pasar, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan usaha kopi lanang di tingkat lokal, mendorong pertumbuhan UMKM, dan memperkuat posisi kopi lanang robusta di pasar nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

Cloves are one of the leading export spice products in Indonesia, however, from 2013 - 2022 they experienced fluctuations. Various problems in the clove trade occur in Indonesia, including clove productivity and the quality produced. This research aims to analyze the level of competitiveness of Indonesian cloves against the countries of Tanzania and Madagascar. This quantitative research uses secondary data as the main data in the form of a time series. The analysis tool used is Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). The results of the analysis show that the RCA of Indonesian cloves during 2013 - 2022 shows that it is good with an average value of 18.99 or RCA > 1. The RCA value of Indonesian cloves is still lower than that of Tanzania and Madagascar. However, overall these three countries have comparative advantages.

Abstract

Currently, the reality shows that there has been a shift in interest in working from the fisheries sector to the non-fisheries sector. This is due to the loss of knowledge and skills of fishing village youth and a decline in perceptions regarding fisheries work. The aim of this research is to determine youth perceptions about jobs in the aquaculture sector and to determine the influence of youth perceptions on interest in employment in the aquaculture sector. The data analysis methods used are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that the youth's perception of work in the aquaculture sector as a whole is quite positive. The results of the F test show that the independent variables (income, social status, business risk, work comfort and family environment) together have a significant effect on youth interest in aquaculture sector work. Meanwhile, partially the youth perception variables that have a real influence on youth interest in aquaculture sector work are the income, business risk and work comfort variables. The variables of social status and family environment do not significantly influence young people's interest in aquaculture sector work

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and marketing channels in the Etawa crossbred goat farming business in Banjaragung Village, Balongpanggang District, Gresik Regency. The population in this study was 16 Etawa crossbred goat farmers in Banjaragung Village. This study used business feasibility analysis, which included the calculation of the B/C Ratio, BEP unit, BEP price, BEP income, and the marketing margin analysis method to determine the efficiency level of the marketing channel. The result of the B/C Ratio calculation is 0,23, which means that the business is feasible to run because the result is more than 0. The result of the BEP unit calculation is 0,55 heads (1 head), the BEP price per head is Rp.2.317.214, and the BEP income is Rp.1.550.110, which means that the business is feasible to run because the average results obtained by farmers exceed the break-even point and the results of the calculation of the marketing margin analysis show that all farmers have a farmer share value above 50%, which means that all farmers have chosen an efficient marketing channel, namely marketing channel I (Farmers-Consumers) with a farmer share value of 100% and marketing channel II (Farmers-Blantik-Consumers) with a farmer share value of 90,34%.

Abstract

Penggunaan benih bersertifikat merupakan salah satu upaya penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan produktivitas kopi nasional. Namun, tingkat partisipasi petani dalam sertifikasi benih kopi masih rendah, sehingga perlu dievaluasi faktor - faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh faktor ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan, dan peraturan terhadap minat petani dalam menyertifikasikan benih kopi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Malang dengan melibatkan 194 petani kopi sebagai responden. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor sosial, lingkungan, dan peraturan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat petani, sedangkan faktor ekonomi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan. Faktor sosial menjadi variabel paling dominan, menunjukkan pentingnya dukungan kelompok tani, pengetahuan bersama, dan jaminan mutu dalam mendorong minat terhadap sertifikasi. Nilai R Square sebesar 0.804 menunjukkan bahwa keempat konstruk mampu menjelaskan 80,4% variabel minat petani. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa upaya peningkatan partisipasi petani dalam program sertifikasi benih perlu difokuskan pada pendekatan sosial dan kelembagaan, serta penyederhanaan akses terhadap regulasi dan edukasi lingkungan. Sertifikasi benih kopi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai jaminan mutu, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan agribisnis kopi rakyat

Abstract

Laying hens  farming is one of the livestock industries that has the potential to develop in Indonesia. Raising laying hens, like other agricultural and food businesses, has many potential risks in its operations. The purpose of this research is to identify production risk sources, determine the likelihood of production risk in the aying hen business, and develop a management strategy for each source of risk in the laying hen business. A case study of laying hen breeders in Ringinrejo, Kandat District, Kediri Regency, was used as the research method. This location was chosen with care because it is a viable laying hen production area. Descriptive analysis is used to identify risk sources; z-score analysis is used to determine risk probability; and risk mapping is used for analysis to identify mitigation and prevention strategies. The research results show that the sources of risk found in this study are sources of disease risk and sources of drinking water risk. Production risks of significant value are obtained from disease risk sources, which have a probability value of 83.15% and drinking water has a probability of 13.57%. Alternative strategies, recommended for managing sources of disease risk are prevention strategies including the use of antibiotics and vitamins, as well as mitigation strategies implemented to reduce the occurrence of significant impacts by separating chickens identified as having disease and carrying out treatment. In summary, a prevention strategy is proposed by paying attention to drinking water quality raw materials and making efforts to filter the water to make it sterile.

Abstract

Wilayah hutan mangrove membentang ratusan meter di pantai Pengkolan. Pohon mangrove tumbuh subur dan lebat, namun pengunjung juga tidak bisa berharap lebih karena belum adanya manajemen yang baik dalam mengelola pantai tersebut. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk pengelolaan desa wisata bahari pantai pengkolan Kabupaten Lamongan yang terdiri dari: 1) Kegiatan bakti sosial di lingkungan wisata; 2) Perbaikan dan pengadaan sarana prasarana pariwisata. Pelaksanaan program PKM ini menggunakan metode Education for Sustainable Development (EfSD). EfSD adalah pembelajaran untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan, yaitu pembelajaran yang memberi kesadaran dan kemampuan kepada semua orang terutama generasi mendatang untuk berkontribusi lebih baik bagi pengembangan berkelanjutan pada masa sekarang dan yang akan datang. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan bakti sosial bersih-bersih pantai pengkolan yaitu lingkungan pantai menjadi lebih asri dan indah. Pemberian papan penunjuk arah memberikan manfaat  pengunjung dapat dengan mudah menuju lokasi wisata. Penambahan spot foto di area pantai pengkolan memberikan manfaat dapat menarik wisatawan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengunjung yang datang. Dengan banyaknya pengunjung yang datang tentunya dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dari masyarakat setempat.
