Abstract

Abstract

Humanitarian intervention is often seen as an effort to protect civilians from human rights violations, but it often clashes with the principle of state sovereignty in international law. This research evaluates the alignment of humanitarian intervention with the values of Pancasila as an ethical and moral footing in international policy. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach; data is obtained from a literature study that includes academic documents, journals, reference books, and diplomatic reports, then analyzed descriptively-analytically to reveal the views of Pancasila in the practice of international law. The results show that although intervention has noble aims, its implementation often collides with the principle of non-intervention and the principle of state sovereignty. The values of Pancasila, especially fair and civilized humanity and social justice, can be used as a moral foundation to assess the legitimacy of intervention, but its application in international norms is still constrained by political interests and power imbalances between states. The conclusion of this study is that Pancasila offers a potential ethical framework for more just humanitarian interventions, but diplomacy and policy advocacy efforts are needed to strengthen the position of developing countries in formulating international norms that respect sovereignty while protecting human rights.

Abstract

Rapidly growing information and communication technology has significantly changed society, especially with the emergence of social media. In Indonesia, social media has become an important platform for connecting people and sharing information. However, as the use of social media increases, it is important to remember the moral values that govern human interaction, as taught by Pancasila. This study applies a qualitative method based on literature studies from various sources, such as books, journals, and other media. This qualitative study aims to interpret the phenomena that occur around us and explain their influence on the values of Pancasila in the use of social media. The results of the study show that Pancasila as the moral basis of the nation faces challenges from globalization and technological advances, especially in the use of social media. The noble values contained in each principle are needed and applied in the digital life of society. The implementation of the values of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and justice can be realized through a tolerant attitude, avoiding hoaxes and hate speech, maintaining social harmony, communicating wisely, and supporting equal access to information. Thus, social media can be a strategic means to strengthen national character and maintain Indonesian unity.

Abstract

Political communication based on Pancasila values serves as a crucial foundation for developing ethical and effective digital campaign strategies in Indonesia. The advancement of technology has transformed political campaigns from face-to-face interactions into digital engagements through social media, websites, and messaging applications. This study aims to analyze the application of Pancasila principles in digital political campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness in fostering ethical, people-centered political communication. Using a qualitative approach, this research employs content analysis of digital campaign materials from various political parties. The findings indicate that campaigns emphasizing values such as unity, humanity, social justice, and deliberation can enhance public participation, particularly among younger voters. Key success factors include information transparency, open dialogue, polite language use, and the provision of objective political education. Pancasila-based digital campaigns also help mitigate social polarization and strengthen public trust in the democratic process. Therefore, this model of political communication is worth adopting as a campaign approach that not only seeks electoral support but also reinforces a substantial and dignified democracy.

Abstract

This study explores the political communication strategies of Islamic parties in facing elections during the digital era in Indonesia. Using a qualitative normative approach, the research focuses on literature analysis, regulatory review, and interpretation of relevant legal documents. Findings show that Islamic parties actively utilize social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, along with official websites and digital applications to deliver political messages. Their communication strategies integrate religious messages with social, economic, and national issues, adopting a moderate and inclusive narrative to attract young, digitally active voters.Collaboration with influencers, religious leaders, and online communities also plays a significant role in expanding their outreach. However, challenges remain, including unequal technology access in rural areas, low digital literacy among certain groups, and the threat of disinformation that could damage political reputations. Additionally, digital campaign regulations in Indonesia are still inadequate. The study concludes that the success of Islamic political communication in the digital era depends on the ability to manage digital identity, engage with online communities, and respond adaptively to emerging issues. It recommends strengthening party cadres’ digital capacities, improving public digital literacy, and enhancing regulatory frameworks to support a more inclusive and democratic political participation.

Abstract

The Constitutional Court is a state institution that emerged from the amendments to the 1945 Constitution, as part of the efforts to strengthen the principles of the rule of law and constitutional democracy in Indonesia. This institution plays a crucial role in upholding legal regulations, ensuring proper checks, and balancing the power between institutions and the state. This research aims to examine the position, authority, and contributions of the Constitutional Court within Indonesia's governance system. A normative approach is generally used, along with analyses of laws, Constitutional Court decisions, and various related legal literature. The Constitutional Court participates in the protection of citizens' rights, the improvement of the electoral system, and the upholding of the principles of democracy and real justice.

Abstract

Interfaith marriage is a complex issue in Indonesia, especially when faced with the state ideology Pancasila and constitutional law. Pancasila, as the nation's ideology, prioritises the values of togetherness and harmony, while constitutional law in Law Number 1 Year 1974 on Marriage stipulates that a marriage is considered valid if it is conducted in accordance with the religious laws of each party. In practice, this raises various debates related to human rights, religious freedom, and state legal policy. The research method used is the Normative Juridical Approach method, this method focuses on the study of literature and legal regulations, such as the Anti-Terrorism Law in Indonesia. Researchers usually analyse legislative documents, legal theories, and how Pancasila values are applied in existing legal policies. The results of this study reveal that the role of Pancasila in making anti-terrorism legal policy in Indonesia shows that the philosophical idiological values of Pancasila serve as the foundation for the pol.
