Kata Kunci: Pencegahan, Sosialisasi, Stunting  ABSTRACT Stunting is a failure to grow due to chronic malnutrition since the fetus is in the womb and will appear when the child is 2 years old. The results of the 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey show that the prevalence of stunting symptoms in Indonesia is still high or exceeds the maximum limit set by the WHO. One area with a high stunting rate is Village X, Sumedang Regency. Indirect causes of stunting include the mother's lack of knowledge about stunting.  The aim of this community service is to increase mothers' knowledge regarding stunting prevention. This community service method involves the promotion of stunting prevention in children under five through health education targeting pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and parents of children under five. There were 15 participants who attended this community service. To measure the success of socialization, an evaluation was carried out in the form of a pre-test and post-test. The data analysis used was univariate. The results of this community service show that there is an increase in participants' knowledge after socialization through education about stunting, with an average pre-test of 69.40 and post-test of 85.73, and there is an influence of socialization through education to prevent stunting on pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and mothers with children under five. with a p-value of.001. It is hoped that the results of this outreach regarding editing prevention can be carried out continuously by health cadres and health workers at the Community Health Center. Keywords: Prevention, Socialization, Stunting

Abstract

Introduction: Neonatal asphyxia—defined as failure to establish adequate breathing at birth—remains a major cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality, especially in developing countries. Prolonged labour and abnormal gestational age can impair placental oxygen transfer and heighten asphyxia risk. Objective: To examine the association between prolonged labour, gestational age, and neonatal asphyxia among newborns treated in the Perinatology Unit of Guido Valadares National Hospital. Method: A cross-sectional correlational study involved 85 mother–infant pairs selected purposively from 110 admissions in 2025. Prolonged labour and gestational age were independent variables; neonatal asphyxia was the outcome. Data were gathered via structured questionnaire and medical records, then analysed with multinomial regression (α = 0.05). Results and Discussion: Prolonged labour showed a significant independent association with asphyxia (p = 0.001), whereas gestational age alone did not (p = 0.389). Simultaneous analysis demonstrated that both variables together were significantly related to asphyxia incidence (p = 0.005). Conclusion: Prolonged labour is the principal contributor to neonatal asphyxia, and its combined effect with gestational age further elevates risk. Rigorous intrapartum monitoring and timely obstetric intervention are essential to improve neonatal outcomes

Abstract

Spiritual care is a part of end of life care, which role is to provide a sense of comfort and peace to the patient and ease the grieving process for the family. Nevertheless, COVID-19 pandemic caused many challenges experienced by ICU nurses in the implementation of spiritual care. This study aimed to identify empirical evidences of ICU nurses experience in providing spiritual care to end-of-life care patients during COVID-19 pandemic. It used a literature review method, analyzing articles from 5 reputable databases, namely Pubmed, Proquest, CINAHL, Science Direct, and Google Scholar with the range of publication years between 2020 and 2022. The keywords used were 'pandemic COVID-19', 'critical care nursing’, 'end of life care', 'dying', 'spiritual care', and 'nursing experience'. The articles were selected in stages by PRISMA flow. 2,727 articles were identified and selected based on the duplication and the inclusion criteria until 6 analysis-deserve articles were obtained. The analysis results showed that during COVID-19 pandemic spiritual care was an important domain in end of life care. Spiritual care for end-of-life patients can reduce anxiety and ease the grieving process for the family. The implementation of spiritual care during pandemic era experienced many challenges; thus, an innovative strategy was required to implement it. Health care facilities should provide supports for nurses to carry out spiritual care by increasing their competences through education and training.

Abstract

Breastfeeding self-efficacy plays a vital role in determining breastfeeding success, yet many mothers face challenges in accessing timely support after childbirth. Nurses hold a key position in providing breastfeeding counseling, and digital technology enables them to deliver care more effectively to a wider population. This scoping review aims to explore and describe the current evidence on nurse-led telecounseling, and digital interventions designed to improve breastfeeding self-efficacy. The review followed the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and PRISMA-ScR reporting guidelines. Articles were identified from PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, SAGE Journals, and Google Scholar, focusing on English-language studies published between 2015 and 2025. Eligible studies included nurse-led digital counseling programs or telecounseling interventions targeting breastfeeding mothers with infants aged 0–6 months. A total of 515 articles were screened, 12 met the inclusion criteria. Most studies used quasi-experimental and randomized controlled trial designs. The results indicated that nurse-led interventions delivered through phone calls, messaging applications, and mobile health platforms significantly improved breastfeeding self-efficacy. Proactive and continuous interventions were found to be more effective than reactive approaches, particularly when the support was interactive and structured. Overall, nurse-led digital and remote counseling interventions effectively enhanced maternal confidence in breastfeeding by providing education, emotional support, and therapeutic communication. The integration of digital health technology in nursing practice can expand access to consistent, high-quality breastfeeding support services, especially for mothers living in areas with limited healthcare access.
