Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 13 Kota Bengkulu Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 berjumlah 33 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika  siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 66,98; 74,79; dan 79,51 serta ketuntasan belajar klasikal siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 60,60%; 75,76%; dan 84,85%. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah.ABSTRACTThe research aims to improve the learning outcomes of learners with problem based learning model. This research was a Classroom Action Research. To collect the data, the researcher used test. The subject of this research were student of class VIII A at SMP Negeri 13 Kota Bengkulu in academic year 2017/2018 with total number of 33 students. The result of this research shows that applying problem based learning model can improve the result of students mathematic learning. The improvement of students learning result can be seen from the average score in cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III in a row are 66,98; 74,79; and 79,51. Futhermore, the completeness of classical learning in cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III in a row are 60,60%; 75,76%; and 84,85%. Key words :  Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara menerapkan pendekatan problem posing tipe post solution posing untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tahap-tahap yang digunakan dalam PTK yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIi SMP Negeri 01 Bengkulu Tengah yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Peningkatan  hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal dari siklus I hingga siklus III, yaitu 61.58; 72.98; 77.41 dan 56,67%; 73,33%; 83,33%. Hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara : siswa berlatih  membuat soal yang lebih mudah dipahami dan sesuai kemampuan siswa sendiri dengan mengubah angka, informasi yang diketahui, informasi yang ditanya, mengubah nama gambar, mengubah bentuk gambar, dan mengubah cerita soal berdasarkan soal semula.Kata Kunci: Model Problem Posing, hasil belajar siswa ABTRACKThis research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research is a mean to find out how to apply the problem posing approach of post-solution posing type in increasing the ability of students’mathematical concept understanding. The stages used in this CAR are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects in this study were students of class VIIIi SMP Negeri 1 Central Bengkulu totally 30 students. Improvement of students’ learning outcomes can bee seen from the improvement in the average value of students and the completeness percentage of classical learning from cycle I to cycle III in respectively: 61.58; 72.98; 77.41 dan 56,67%; 73,33%; 83,33%. Student learning outcomes can be improved by: students practice making problems more easily understood and according to the students’ own abilities by changing numbers, known and questioned information, image names, image form, and story problems based on the original problem. Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) with data collection technique through activity observation sheet and test result of student learning. The subjects of this study are the students of class VII A SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu Odd Semester of the School Year 2017 which amounted to 32 students. The results showed that the implementation of learning strategy through cooperative model of learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) can increase student learning activity and learning outcomes. The increase of student learning activity can be seen from the value of observation of student learning activity of mathematics cycle I that is 19,67 (criteria enough), cycle II is 23,17 (good criterion), cycle III 26,17 (good criterion). Improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes can be seen from the average score of student learning outcomes cycle I is 67.40; cycle II is 75,47; and cycle III has increase that is 82,34 and completeness of classical learning cycle I, cycle II, cycle III in sequence is 44%, 50%, and 81,25%. Keywords: Activities, Learning Outcomes, cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out how to improve activities and students’ learning outcomes by applying PBI (Problem Based Instruction) Learning Model. This study was a classroom action research that the technique of data collection was by using activity observation sheets and test of students’ learning outcomes. The research subject was class VII.7 SMPN 21 of Bengkulu City academic year of 2017/2018 with 28 students in total consisted of 14 male and 14 female students. The data collected descriptively used the mean score of the students’ activities, the average of the students’ score and the students’ mastery learning. The process done by the researcher was that the teacher gave example of story problem related to daily life. The teacher formed study groups consisted of 4-5 students. The group formation was varies based on the ability (pre-test) and gender. The teacher helped the groups facing difficulties and observed the discussion activity in solving the problems. The teacher asked one of the groups to present the result in front of class. Based on the research result, it could be concluded that the implementation of PBI (Problem Based Instruction) could improve the activities students’ learning outcomes.Key Words: Activities, PBI (Problem Based Instruction)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model MASTER (mind, acquire the facts, search out the meaning, trigger the memory, exhibit what you know, reflect) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 06 Kota Bengkulu.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 06 Kota Bengkulu tahun ajaran 2017/2018. . Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas XI IPS C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan peserta didik yang berjumlah 33 orang yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran MASTER dan XI IPS D sebagai kelas kontrol dengan peserta didik yang berjumlah 32 orang yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung yaitu 2,421 dengan taraf nyata (?) = 5% dan dk = 63 menghasilkan ttabel yaitu 1,669 jadi thitung> ttabel, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MASTER terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 06 Kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar Siswa, MASTER (mind, acquire the facts, search out the meaning, trigger the memory, exhibit what you know, reflect)

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to implement cooperative learning think pair share (TPS) to be able to enhance the activity and results of students' mathematics learning class VII.2 SMPN 21 Bengkulu City. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). Subjects in this study were students of class VII.2 SMPN 21 Bengkulu City totaling 30 students. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student activity and achievement test. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning type of think pair share (TPS) can increase the activity and student learning outcomes.Increased activity of students can be seen from the average score on the student activity observation sheet first cycle to the third cycle in a row: 15,5 (less criteria inactive); 19,95 (active enough criteria); 24,5 (active criteria).Improving student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average value of students and the percentage of completeness classical study of the first cycle to cycle III respectively: 49.26; 63.46; 76 and 3.3%; 46.6% ; 83.3%.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol yang menerapkan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrumen tes. Untuk analisis data instrumen tes menggunakan uji-t dengan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 80,91 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol adalah 59,41. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil uji hipotesis nilai  thitung = 6,463 > nilai ttabel = 2,000 dengan = 5%. Maka H0 ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, penemuan terbimbing, strategi ekspositori AbstractThe aim of the research is to know how to the effect of guided discovery learning model to study’s result student class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. Population of this research is students class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu. Sample of this research is student class VIII D for the experiment class apply to guided discovery learning model and class VIII E for control class apply to expository learning strategy. The technique data collection is instrument test. To analyze the instrument test data using the formula t-test with normal distribution data and homogen. Based on the research value the average study’s result experiment class higher than the average study’s result control class. The average of experimental class is 80,91 and the average of control class is 59,41. This is consistent with the value hypothesis test result valuet = 6,463 < value table = 2,000 with   = 5%. Then H0 is rejected so that it can be concluded that there is the effect of guided discovery learning model to study’s result student class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu.Keyword: study’s result, guided discovery, expository strategy

Abstract

This research was done to produce student worksheet (LKPD) based on inquiry on tangent line to a cirle for grade 8 that is effective. This research was a Research and Development by modifying 4-D thiagarajan method into 3 phases of it, which are define, design, and develop. The effectiveness of LKPD was done to 32 students of Class VIII A in SMP Negeri 11, Bengkulu city as an effective class and was observed by two observers. Instrument of this research was effective sheet consist of teacher activity observation sheet, sudent activity observation sheet and student’s response sheet. The result of this research showed that LKPD was in effective category based on : 1) teacher activity observation that consisted of 8 statements was in very good category with an average score 34,5;  2) student activity observation that consisted of 7 statements was in very good category with an average score 30,17;  3) student’s response that consist of 10 statements was in very good category with an average score 43,76; and 4) learning outcome of students based on score of LKPD and Final Test (THB) was in good category with classical mastery persentage up to 93,75%.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifitas dari Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Guided Discovery Learning pada Pokok Bahasan Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengadopsi prosedur 4-D yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), dan tahap pengembangan (develop). Pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan uji efektifitas. Uji efektifitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dilakukan pada kelas VIII.8 SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 berjumlah 31 orang peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar efektifitas LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKPD berbasis guided discovery learning pada pokok bahasan bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah termasuk dalam kategori sangat efektif dengan skor rata-rata 4,55 dengan pencapaian efektifitas: (a) Aktivitas peserta didik dalam kegiatan balajar sangat efektif dengan skor rata-rata 4,31; (b) Respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran sangat efektif dengan skor rata-rata 4,4; (c) Hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII.8 SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah sangat efektif dengan skor rata-rata 4,84 dan rata-rata jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan minimal 75 yaitu 90,32%. Kata kunci : Efektifitas, Penelitian Pengembangan, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), Guided Discovery Learning AbstractThis research was aimed to know the level of effectiveness from Student’s Worksheet (LKPD) based on Guided Discovery Learning of Three Dimention at the Second Grade of SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah. This research was the development research by adopting 4-D procedures that consisted of defining, designing, and developing. The development of initial product was conducted by effectiveness test. The effectiveness of student’s worksheet (LKPD) was tried out to thirty one students of second grade SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah in second semester of academic year of 2017/2018. The instrumen of this research was effectiveness sheet of student’s worksheet (LKPD). The result of student’s worksheet developing showed Student’s Worksheet (LKPD) based on Guided Discovery Learning of Three Dimention at the Second Grade of SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah was in very effective with mean score 4,55 that the effectiveness consisted of: (a) The student’s activity in learning was very effective with mean score 4,31; (b) The student’s response in learning was very effective with mean score 4,4; (c) The learning outcomes of second grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah was very effective with mean score 4,84 and the mean of students that passed the minimum score 75 was 90,32%.Keyword : Efectiveness, Research Development, Student’s Worksheet (LKPD), Guided Discovery Learning

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis realistic mathematics education dan pendidikan karakter pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar yang memenuhi kriteria efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengadopsi prosedur ADDIE yaitu analisis (analysis), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation) dan evaluasi (evaluation). Efektifitas LKPD diujicobakan kepada 28 orang peserta didik kelas VIII E SMP N 15 Kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori sangat efektif dengan skor rata-rata 4,25 dengan pencapaian efektifitas : (1) aktivitas peserta didik dengan skor rata-rata 4,48; (2) aktivitas pendidik dengan skor rata-rata 4,71; (3) respon peserta didik dengan skor rata-rata 4,23; (4) hasil belajar peserta didik dengan skor rata-rata 4,18 dan presentase ketuntasan minimal 85,71%.Kata kunci : Efektifitas, Lembar Kerja Peserta didik (LKPD), Realistic Mathematics Education, Pendidikan Karakter AbstractThis research aims to produce student worksheet based on realistic mathematics education and character education on polyhedron material that is effective. This research was a developmental research (Research and Development) by adopting ADDIE procedure which are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The effectiveness of LKPD was tested on twenty eight students of class VIII E.  The result showed that Student Worksheet based on Realistic Mathematics Education and Character Education on polyhedron material for junior high school grade VIII was very effective with an average score 4,25 with achievement of effectiveness : (1) activity of students with an average score 4,48; (2) activity of teacher with an average score 4,71; (3) the response of students with an average score 4,23; (4) the learning outcomes of students effective with an average score 4,18 and a minimum percentage of 85,71% mastery.Keywords : Effectiveness, Student Worksheet (LKPD), Realistic Mathematics Education, Character Education
