Abstract

As threats and risks increase in the digital world, auditing in the cyber security era faces significant new challenges. Rapid digital change has increased the complexity of information systems, which makes the audit environment more complicated and requires new approaches to assessing the effectiveness of security controls. The increase in cyber threats that can threaten the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data is one of the main challenges facing auditors. Increasingly varied and sophisticated cyberattacks require proactive and adaptive audit techniques. Auditors must have the ability to evaluate cyber threats and evaluate how they impact a company's information systems and internal controls. Additionally, rapid technological advances such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT) make auditing more difficult. To overcome this problem, risk and technology-based audits must be implemented. Lastly, training and development of auditors' skills is essential to address this issue. Auditors must keep their skills updated on cybersecurity and the latest technologies. Lastly, training and development of auditors' skills is essential to address this issue. Auditors must keep their skills updated on cybersecurity and the latest technologies. Investment in ongoing training and certification of cybersecurity specialists will help them discover and address risks more effectively, and ensure more comprehensive and useful audits in an increasingly complex environment.

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder caused by acetylcholine hydrolysis that impairs cognitive brain function. This research aims to determine the interaction and dynamic of ligands from Moringa oleifera on AChE through Lipinski's Rule, ADMET properties, molecular docking calculations, and molecular dynamic simulations. Lipinski's Rule calculation provided ligand limits that adhere to druglikeness properties. ADMET results also showed that several ligands satisfy ADMET properties. Pterygospermine has lower binding energy than the ligand control (-10.28 kcal mol-1) with amino acid residues of TYR133 and GLU202. It indicates a favorable interaction between the AChE receptor and ligand in the inhibition process. Based on molecular docking calculations, pterygospermine inhibits the AChE receptor at the Long, narrow aromatic gorge active site. According to molecular dynamic simulations, the MMPBSA energy for pterygospermine is 37.377 kJ mol-1. The samples showed a total average RMSD of 2 Å, suggesting no significant conformational changes throughout the simulation. The sample's average RMSF value is around 2 Å, suggesting favorable interactions with the receptor during simulation. However, this data is different from the ligand control interaction mode. Molecular dynamic investigations of the pterygospermine ligand in the complex revealed the stability and unfolded effect on the protein. The results of this study propose a candidate anti-Alzheimer's ligand from Moringa oleifera against the AChE receptor. In practice, these results can contribute to research studies exploring natural ingredients from plants with medicinal potential in drug discovery. These results can be validated using further research in vitro and in vivo.

Abstract

Background. The rise of 5G technology offers the potential to revolutionize e-learning, particularly in rural areas where access to high-quality educational resources has historically been limited. Despite the promise of improved connectivity, the scalability and impact of 5G-enabled e-learning platforms in these regions remain underexplored. Purpose. This study aims to assess the feasibility and scalability of implementing 5G-enabled e-learning platforms in rural areas and to evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing educational access and outcomes.   Method. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative analysis of internet connectivity, user engagement, and learning outcomes with qualitative interviews from educators and students. Data was collected from five rural regions across three countries where 5G infrastructure was recently introduced. The study measured improvements in e-learning adoption rates, student engagement, and academic performance over a 12-month period. Results. Results indicate that 5G-enabled e-learning platforms significantly improved both access to education and student engagement, with a 30% increase in platform adoption and a 25% improvement in student performance. Educators also reported more dynamic and interactive learning experiences. However, challenges related to infrastructure costs and digital literacy were noted, which could limit scalability in certain regions. Conclusion. In conclusion, the study demonstrates the potential of 5G technology to scale e-learning platforms in rural areas, improving educational access and outcomes. Nonetheless, addressing challenges such as infrastructure costs and digital literacy is critical for ensuring long-term scalability and success.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of recommendation algorithms and the provision of digital facilities on purchasing patterns and consumer loyalty in e-commerce platforms in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from 180 respondents through a structured questionnaire utilizing a Likert scale (1-5). The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that recommendation algorithms have a significant positive impact on both consumer loyalty and purchasing patterns, with path coefficients of 0.454 and 0.419, respectively. Additionally, the provision of digital facilities also influences consumer loyalty (0.360) and purchasing patterns (0.405). The study found that enhancing both personalized recommendations and digital infrastructure can significantly improve customer retention and sales, emphasizing the importance of these factors for e-commerce platforms in Jakarta. The model’s R² values suggest that it explains a substantial portion of the variance in consumer loyalty (0.567) and purchasing patterns (0.580), with high predictive relevance. The findings provide practical insights for e-commerce businesses to optimize user experience and strengthen consumer relationships, contributing to improved competitive advantage in the digital market.
