Abstract

Abstract

In the era of globalization and the complexity of global challenges, education faces pressure to produce graduates who are able to think critically, adaptively, and provide solutions to global problems such as climate change, social inequality, and the technological crisis. At the national level, educational curricula are often sectoral and partial, thus failing to prepare students to face the dynamics of global problems holistically. The urgency of this study arises from the need for innovative pedagogical strategies that can bridge the learning of disciplinary concepts with the real application of complex problems, while being relevant for the development of 21st-century education. This study aims to analyze the transdisciplinary approach as a framework for developing a learning model based on complex global problems, emphasizing its contribution to the integration of knowledge, values, and critical thinking skills of students. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources in the form of educational theory books, international journal articles, curriculum policies, and research reports related to transdisciplinary learning. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically using conceptual and comparative synthesis techniques, and data validity strategies through source triangulation and expert validation. The results show that the transdisciplinary approach enables the integration of cross-disciplinary perspectives, improves complex problem-solving abilities, and encourages contextual learning that is relevant globally and locally. The developed model of complex global problem-based learning emphasizes collaboration, critical reflection, and real-world applicability. The implications of this study confirm its theoretical contribution in expanding the holistic education paradigm and its practical implications for educators in designing innovative learning strategies responsive to global challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the performance of SOEs in the infrastructure and non-infrastructure sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019–2021 period. The method used is quantitative descriptive with secondary data in the form of annual performance values and corporate health predicates based on the assessment set. The results show that the performance of infrastructure SOEs fluctuated with a significant decrease in 2020 (50.68) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, then recovered in 2021 (55.05) in line with government stimulus and the acceleration of strategic projects. Meanwhile, non-infrastructure SOEs also recorded a sharp decline in 2020 (43.75) and experienced a slower recovery in 2021 (49.82), not yet reaching pre-pandemic levels. Comparatively, infrastructure SOEs consistently have higher performance values than non-infrastructure throughout the observation period. Based on a three-year average, both sectors are in the "Less Healthy" category, with the predicate BBB for infrastructure and BB for non-infrastructure. The study's conclusions confirm that although both sectors faced pressures during the crisis, infrastructure SOEs showed better resilience and recovery, so different policy interventions are needed to strengthen the performance of each sector going forward.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the society 5.0 era presents opportunities and challenges, particularly in shaping ethical behavior and social responsibility. This study explores how integrating the philosophy of science with character education can strengthen moral formation amid these changes. Using a qualitative literature review, it analyzes scholarly sources on philosophy of science, character education, and digital-era morality. The findings show that the philosophy of science offers a framework for ethical and critical thinking, while character education provides practical pathways to internalize and apply these values. Unlike previous studies that address them separately, this research highlights their integration as a strategy to align technological competence with ethical responsibility. Embedding philosophical principles into character education encourages students to develop cognitive, technical, and moral capacities simultaneously. This synergy can inform curriculum design, teacher training, and digital literacy programs, ultimately fostering ethically grounded digital citizens who are prepared to navigate the complexities of society 5.0.

Abstract

The development of technology and social media has driven changes in consumer behaviour, particularly among the younger generation, shifting from conventional to online shopping. the ease of access to online shopping and the emergence of digital payment methods such as e-wallets and pay-later options can trigger impulsive buying behaviour and fear of missing out (FOMO), which in turn impacts individuals' financial behaviour. This study aims to analyze the influence of impulsive buying and FOMO on financial behaviour and explore the role of financial literacy as a moderating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 117 Palu City respondents with an income. the data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), with the help of SmartPLS software. the results indicate that impulsive buying has a positive and significant effect on financial behaviour, while FOMO does not have a significant effect. Additionally, financial literacy does not moderate the relationship between impulsive buying, FOMO, and financial behaviour. these findings suggest that even though individuals may have good financial literacy, self-control remains a crucial factor in financial decision-making. This study contributes to the development of financial literacy by emphasizing cognitive aspects and the importance of strengthening affective aspects such as emotional control and resistance to social pressure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial performance on the value of companies in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Financial performance is an important indicator for investors and management in assessing a company's ability to generate profits, maintain liquidity, and manage its funding structure efficiently. A company's value reflects the market's perception of its outlook and sustainability, making it an important factor in investment decision-making. This study uses a quantitative, explanatory approach. The data used is secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of manufacturing companies published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and from the companies' official sources. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria. Data analysis was carried out using panel data regression to test the influence of financial performance variables on the company's value. Financial performance variables are proxied by profitability, liquidity, and leverage ratios, while company value is proxied by Price-to-Book Value (PBV). The results of the research are expected to make theoretical contributions to the development of financial management studies, as well as practical contributions for investors, company management, and other stakeholders in understanding the factors that affect company value in the Indonesian capital market.
