Abstract

First-time voters are a fairly large segment of voters. This shows that First-Time voters are a large resource in politics in Indonesia. Indonesia as a democratic country certainly expects every element of society to be actively involved in every democratic process, including the first-time voter segment. First-time voters as an important segment then have quite good political awareness. Through this political awareness, a pattern of political preference formation will then be formed. First-time voters as a large political resource are of course highly expected to be able to participate, at least voting in elections. So far, existing research regarding First-time voters only places as mere objects. However, this research then examines in more depth the patterns of political preference formation that will influence the political behavior of first-time voters. This research is qualitative research with primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with high school students as research informants. Based on the research conducted, it appears that First-time voters in Makassar City have quite good political awareness, which is an implication of their better political knowledge. So, when making choices in an election, First-time voters have a tendency to make their own choices based on their political preferences. The pattern of forming political preferences of first-time voters is sociology, rationality and psychology. Keywords: Firs-time voters, Political Preferences, Political Awareness

writing of this research article entitled "Analysis of Overtime Policy and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KC Palopo". This study investigates how organizational culture and overtime policy affect employee performance at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KC Palopo. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program and involves 40 respondents. In the t-test, the t-value for the overtime policy is 5.019, which is greater than the t table of 2.026. In addition, the significance value for the overtime policy variable is 0.000. The results of the study indicate that the overtime policy affects employee performance positively and significantly, and the t-value for the organizational culture variable of 3.062 is greater than the t table, and the significance value for the organizational culture variable is 0.004, which is smaller than 0.05. The results of the study indicate that organizational culture affects employee performance positively and significantly.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country surrounded by oceans. Aceh is the westernmost province of Indonesian territory. A number of districts are located on the coast of the Indian Ocean, most of the population lives in coastal areas. When viewed from the perspective of their livelihood, they are included in the category of poor people. The average livelihood of them is as a farmer and fisherman. Development of the People's Salt Business (PUGAR) as a national program was made with the aim of increasing the welfare of the Indonesian people, especially salt farmers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Empowerment Policy for the Coastal Poor through the Development of Integrated People's Salt Businesses with Geo-Membrane Technology in North Aceh District, the constraints and obstacles in implementing the policy. This study used a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, technical data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research findings were evaluated using William N. Dunn's policy evaluation theory with 3 (three) evaluation criteria, namely Effectiveness, Efficiency and Responsiveness. The results of the study show that the evaluation of the policy of developing people's salt businesses in Aceh district is the government's effort to empower poor communities in coastal areas to improve their welfare through the provision of facilities and infrastructure, land integration and salt business institutions (KUGaR). The aspect of duties and authority shows that it is dominated by the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service, while the technical team is more on the number of team personalities for fulfilling procedures only. Many technical tasks are carried out in Marine and fisheries. In addition, the technical team has not implemented its capacity according to the main duties and functions of the SKPD. Meanwhile PUGaR is comprehensive in nature covering all aspects of people's lives, including education, health and economic endeavors. Aspects of the distribution of aid for facilities and infrastructure and disbursement of the budget have been carried out optimally. While the tasks and functions of institutions (cooperatives) have not been able to motivate people to join salt business groups under the auspices of cooperatives, this shows that institutionally cooperatives have not made a significant contribution in increasing people's salt businesses. The resource aspect shows that the involvement of human resources in general in the development of the people's salt business has shown adequate results, but in terms of quality it is not optimal both at the group level and at the management institutional level. While the aspects of facilities and infrastructure and budgeting look quite convincing in accordance with the needs for developing the potential of the salt business.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas warga dalam mengelola sistem keamanan perumahan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) di kawasan padat penduduk. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Mannuruki, Kecamatan Tamalate, Kota Makassar, mencakup pengenalan perangkat IoT, penggunaan aplikasi pemantauan real-time, pemeliharaan, dan troubleshooting dasar. Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) digunakan untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif melalui praktik perakitan sensor, konfigurasi mikrokontroler, serta pengujian notifikasi otomatis. Peserta juga dibekali materi keamanan siber untuk meminimalkan risiko akses ilegal dan kerentanan sistem. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan warga dalam mengoperasikan sistem IoT secara mandiri, mendeteksi aktivitas mencurigakan, dan merespons insiden lebih cepat. Dukungan peserta dan aparat setempat menegaskan relevansi program ini sebagai langkah menuju sistem keamanan berbasis komunitas yang terintegrasi.

Abstract

Digital marketing training and the use of digital technologies have become essential in today’s business environment. Increasing competition requires MSMEs to adapt by improving digital literacy and skills, particularly among groups with limited prior knowledge. In this context, stakeholders play a strategic role in providing knowledge, facilities, and sustained support to enable MSMEs to leverage digital channels and expand market access. This article examines a digital marketing and digital technology utilization training program for MSME practitioners in Lhokseumawe City, covering training materials, implementation methods, benefits, impacts, participant feedback, and follow-up recommendations. The program aimed to strengthen basic digital competencies, especially digital marketing strategies and the use of digital media to promote processed food products, which are predominantly produced by women-led MSMEs. The training was implemented through cross-sector collaboration involving government, academia, and MSME communities. The results indicate a meaningful impact, reflected in increased participants’ understanding of digital marketing, stronger motivation to promote their businesses through digital media, and initial actions such as creating accounts on online platforms. These findings suggest that digital marketing and digital media training can serve as a driving force for strengthening MSME capacity. Therefore, similar programs should be continuously promoted to generate long-term benefits for the economic sustainability of MSMEs in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan usahatani kakao di Desa Tapua, Kecamatan Matakali, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis SWOT. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan petani kakao, tokoh masyarakat, serta aparat pemerintah desa, yang didukung oleh studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani kakao di Desa Tapua memiliki potensi yang cukup besar dalam mendukung peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat. Faktor kekuatan meliputi tingkat kesuburan tanah yang baik, pengalaman petani dalam budidaya kakao, serta tingginya permintaan pasar. Adapun faktor kelemahan meliputi keterbatasan modal usaha, rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi pertanian, dan terbatasnya ketersediaan sarana produksi. Peluang pengembangan usaha ditunjukkan oleh adanya dukungan dari pemerintah daerah serta kecenderungan peningkatan harga kakao di pasar global. Sementara itu, ancaman yang dihadapi antara lain perubahan iklim, serangan hama dan penyakit tanaman, serta persaingan dengan komoditas pertanian lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT, usahatani kakao di Desa Tapua berada pada kuadran II, sehingga strategi yang direkomendasikan adalah diversifikasi produk serta peningkatan daya saing melalui inovasi dan penguatan kelembagaan petani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekspor produk pertanian, ekspor produk industri manufaktur, dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap cadangan devisa di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan merupakan data time series tahunan dari tahun 1990 hingga 2024 yang diperoleh dari World Bank, Bank Indonesia, dan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah model Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) yang mampu menguji pengaruh dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekspor produk pertanian berpengaruh signifikan terhadap cadangan devisa dalam jangka panjang, namun tidak signifikan dalam jangka pendek. Ekspor produk industri manufaktur berpengaruh signifikan dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Sementara itu, nilai tukar rupiah berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan dalam jangka pendek, tetapi tidak signifikan dalam jangka panjang. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan sektor ekspor industri dan stabilitas nilai tukar untuk menjaga ketahanan cadangan devisa Indonesia.

management can lead to environmental pollution. This condition results in a decline in environmental quality and harms human health. One of the negative impacts of waste can arise from the source, where waste producers fail to properly handle waste. Research findings, including the limited number of human resources for landfill management, limited institutional frameworks for budget management, and the limited number of regional regulations established to support waste management policies in Aceh Province, indicate that waste management policies in Aceh Province still do not meet the criteria for adequacy as a public policy. The coverage of waste management services has only reached 66.73%, indicating that the Waste Management Policy at landfills in Aceh Province still does not meet the criteria for "equity" as a public policy in providing services to the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) desain sistem informasi nilai akademik di SMK Negeri 5 Makassar, (2) desain aplikasi sistem informasi akademik pada nilai ponsel dan (3) menerapkan nilai akademik aplikasi sistem informasi menggunakan ponsel di SMK Negeri 5 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan dari System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model dengan pendekatan prototyping yang terdiri dari sistem tahap analisis, desain dan perencanaan tahap pengembangan sistem, tahap pengembangan sistem, tahap pengujian sistem, dan tahap implementasi sistem . File dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi dengan subjek penelitian yang siswa kelas XI TKJ 2 (Jaringan Teknik Komputer) semester II tahun akademik 2012/2013 di SMK Negeri 5 Makassar. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: (1) produk dari aplikasi sistem informasi akademik di desktop menggunakan pemrograman delphi, (2) nilai sistem informasi aplikasi produk pada penggunaan telepon selular pemrograman java2 mikro edisi (J2ME) dan (3) hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi pada nilai akademik SMK Negeri 5 Makassar telah memenuhi kriteria validitas meliputi aspek perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk merancang nilai-nilai aplikasi, aspek aplikasi nilai tampilan, fitur aplikasi, database, sistem dan jaringan keamanan. Berdasarkan hasil dari aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan di lingkungan SMK Negeri 5 Makassar.
