Abstract

This article examines the political strategies of Prophet Yusuf as recorded in the Qur'an, focusing on leadership and conflict resolution, as well as their relevance to the phenomenon of dynastic politics in Indonesia. Although Muslims regard the Qur'an as a guide, their understanding of its political aspects remains limited. The story of Prophet Yusuf in Surah Yusuf offers valuable lessons on political strategies based on ethics and wisdom. This study employs a library research approach with a thematic tafsir method, analyzing various exegetical perspectives on the verses describing Yusuf's political strategies. The findings reveal that Yusuf implemented several political strategies relevant to the context of dynastic politics, namely: first, the politics of reciprocal obligation, where he repaid ill treatment with kindness to build long-term influence. Second, the politics of desire, by creating dependency so that others would follow his will. Third, the politics of scenario, which involved strategically setting situations so that opponents would accept the prevailing rules. Fourth, the politics of control, in which Yusuf carefully managed the narrative and actions of his adversaries. Fifth, the politics of identity declaration, where he revealed his true identity at the right moment to maximize acceptance. Sixth, the politics of accommodation, which ultimately led his brothers to submit and join him in Egypt. Yusuf's political strategies reflect a form of leadership that prioritizes wisdom, strategic planning, and conflict management. In the context of dynastic politics in Indonesia, similar strategies can be observed in how political elites build influence, maintain power, and manage both support and opposition. Contribution: This study contributes to understanding how Qur'anic values can serve as a reference for contemporary political analysis.

Abstract

The development of information technology has opened up new opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in increasing operational efficiency and business competitiveness. In the Madura region, the MSME digitalization process cannot be separated from the strong socio-religious context, where sharia economic values also influence the pattern of technology adaptation. This study aims to examine the implementation of information technology in MSMEs in Madura, with a focus on the integration of sharia economic principles in the digitalization process. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of MSMEs in various sectors. The results of the study show that the use of technology by MSMEs in Madura has helped increase operational efficiency, especially in terms of communication, promotion, and transaction recording. On the other hand, business actors continue to maintain business practices that are in line with Islamic values, such as honesty, transparency, and avoidance of usury practices. However, obstacles are still found in the form of low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and minimal ongoing assistance which cause digitalization to not run optimally. Therefore, a supporting strategy is needed in the form of contextual training, an integrated and simple technology system, and strengthening the digital ecosystem based on sharia communities. This finding shows that digitalization and sharia values are not two contradictory things, but can strengthen each other in the development of sustainable and ethical MSMEs.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the country with the largest Muslim population, has great potential in developing Islamic philanthropy, particularly through the stock waqf instrument. Stock waqf allows sharia stocks to be managed to generate dividends or capital gains, which are then distributed to social programs. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital stock waqf management through MotionTrade by PT MNC Sekuritas, as well as to identify the challenges and opportunities in its implementation. The research method used is qualitative, with a field approach for data collection using semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation at PT MNC Sekuritas Surabaya and waqf institutions such as BWI and RZI. The research results show that through the MotionTrade application, donation management is carried out based on the POAC principles (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) in accordance with sharia, with transparency and professionalism through the philanthropic features of MotionTrade. Collaboration with trusted nazhir institutions such as BWI, RZI, and BAZNAS ensures that the donations are properly targeted, covering assistance for Gaza, orphans, healthcare services, qurban (animal sacrifice), and scholarships. However, there are still challenges such as digital literacy, resource management, and continuously evolving regulations. With proper management and cross-institutional support, stock waqf and digital philanthropic donations through MotionTrade have the potential to become strategic instruments for improving the welfare of the Muslim community in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Shopee e-commerce on traditional market sales at Langkap Market, Burneh District, Bangkalan Regency, from a sharia economic perspective. The method used is descriptive qualitative through a literature review and interviews with the Head of Langkap Market as the main informant. The results show that the presence of Shopee e-commerce has caused a decline in sales, especially among clothing vendors in traditional markets, because consumers prefer the convenience and more competitive prices of digital platforms. This impact has forced vendors to switch to selling basic necessities that are still in demand in person. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift in consumer behavior to e-commerce, although traditional markets continue to play a vital role in meeting urgent needs that cannot be met quickly by e-commerce. From a sharia economic perspective, this change requires a balance between technological advancements and the sustainability of micro-enterprises to maintain the principles of justice and welfare. This research provides important insights for developing strategies for preserving traditional markets in the digital era.
