Abstract

As global awareness of sustainability increases, the concept of green business has become a major focus in the modern business world. This study discusses strategies for implementing environmentally conscious businesses and their long-term viability. By employing approaches such as the use of sustainable energy, circular economy-based waste management, and the use of green technology, companies can achieve a balance between profitability and ecological responsibility. Through a business feasibility analysis, this study evaluates various factors influencing business sustainability, including investment costs, market potential, and government policies and incentives that encourage the growth of sustainable green businesses. Case studies of companies that have successfully implemented sustainable business models demonstrate that innovation in environmentally friendly businesses not only reduces negative impacts on the environment but also provides higher economic value and competitiveness. Thus, green business is not just a trend, but a strategy that supports both business sustainability and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah kedai Al-Barokah Food di kabupaten bangkalan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan standar bisnis dari sudut pandang pasar dan pemasaran dan apakah kedai tersebut memenuhi syarat untuk beroperasi sehingga layak untuk dilanjutkan dan dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang berarti bahwa peneliti menemukan pengetahuan atau teori tentang penelitian selama periode waktu tertentu dengan jenis penelitian empiris yang dilakukan dilapangan dengan objek penelitian difokuskan pada kedai al barokah food bangkalan. Data yang terkumpul dalam penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara dan observasi pada narasumber yakni pemilik kedai dan konsumen kedai barokah food. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bisnis makanan kedai al barokah food layak ditinjau dari pasar dan pemasaran karena promosi dilakukan secara langsung yaitu dari lisan ke lisan dan melalui platform media sosial seperti whatsapp. Strategi pemasaran yang sukses untuk produk dengan standar kualitas tinggi dan dapat diakses semua golongan karena harga yang terjangkau, Serta luasnya pendistribusian diberbagai daerah pakong dan sekitarnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek lingkungan pada Awet Madura Food dalam perspektif SKB syariah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan secara kualitatif, dengan mengambil obyek penelitian pada Awet Madura Food. Pengumpulan data alam penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara, analisis dokumen, diskusi terfokus, atau observasi yang telah dituangkan dalam catatan lapangan (transkip). Bentuk lain dari data kualitatif adalah gambar yang diperoleh melalui pemotretan atau rekaman vidio dari Awet Madura Food. Hasil analisis kelayakan bisnis dari aspek lingkungan dikatakan layak yaitu produk yang telah memiliki merek, nama yang menarik, sudah tersertifikasi halal, BPOM, dan menciptakan kemasan. Harga yang terjangkau, lokasi yang strategis dan kemudian distribusi, serta promosi yang menarik.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the contribution of halal certification policy in strengthening the legal status of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary sector in Indonesia. Since the enactment of Law No. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Assurance, halal certification has not only become a legal obligation but also serves as a strategic instrument to support the formalization of MSMEs. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review by analyzing various secondary sources such as academic journals, government regulations, and documents related to halal certification and MSME legality. The findings indicate that halal certification policy acts as a key driver in the legalization process of culinary MSMEs, whereby business actors are encouraged to complete other legal documents such as the Business Identification Number (NIB), Home Industry Food Permit (PIRT), and product distribution permits when applying for halal certification. Halal certification provides positive impacts including enhanced product reputation, improved market access, and increased opportunities to obtain formal financing. The Free Halal Certification Program (SEHATI) has proven effective in reducing bureaucratic and financial barriers faced by MSMEs. In conclusion, halal certification has transformed into a strategic asset that not only ensures product compliance with halal standards but also reinforces legal legitimacy and enhances the competitiveness of MSMEs at both national and international levels.

Abstract

MSMEs make a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy, particularly in terms of job creation and income distribution. However, challenges in marketing often hinder business development. This study aims to explore marketing aspects in the business feasibility study of Cak Narto's Javanese Fried Rice MSME in Surabaya using a descriptive qualitative approach. The analysis focuses on the elements of the marketing mix, including product, price, place, and promotion. The research findings indicate that, in terms of product, the business has a high level of feasibility due to the consistency of taste and the diversity of menu options offered. From a pricing perspective, the uniform and affordable pricing policy is considered effective in attracting and retaining customers. The strategic and easily accessible location of the business also supports its sustainability from a place perspective. However, the promotion aspect still has limitations, where marketing strategies rely more on direct communication and word-of-mouth methods, while the use of social media is still minimal. Therefore, optimizing digital promotion strategies is recommended to expand market reach and enhance the business's competitiveness. This study provides insights into the importance of marketing aspects in determining the viability and sustainability of culinary SMEs, while highlighting the need for innovation in marketing strategies to support more optimal business growth.

Abstract

Abstract. This study explores the implementation of Islamic business ethics among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Surabaya. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this research identifies how MSME actors apply Islamic ethical principles such as unity (tawhid), justice ('adl), honesty (ṣidq), responsibility (amanah), and free will in daily business activities. The findings show that several MSMEs have adopted sharia-based business practices, including lawful contracts, fair pricing, transparency, and consumer protection. The integration of e-commerce and digital entrepreneurship is also aligned with Islamic values, supporting both business growth and ethical compliance. However, challenges remain, particularly in the consistent application of honesty and ethical awareness among traders. This study concludes that fostering an Islamic ethical business environment among MSMEs requires collaborative efforts from entrepreneurs, educational institutions, and government support to build a sustainable, fair, and value-based economic ecosystem.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to depict the moral values of Susan Caraway that turns into the name of Stargirl in Jerry Spinelli’s Stargirl. Susan Caraway is a school student who wants to get popularity by the name of Stargirl. Though she gets her dream of being popular, yet, she shows her moral values to her friends. Using a qualitative descriptive method and descriptive and dramatic method as well as Robert Audi’s theory of moral values, and by explaining the main character’s moral values, quoting the related quotation in the novel about the moral values, and analyzing the quotation related to the theory, then the researcher herself as the instrument of the study finds that Susan Caraway shows her moral values such as beneficence, honesty, and gratitude. Beneficence, then, is separated into having positive thinking, being responsible, and having self-control. Honesty is performed in the form of not being a lier, whilst, gratitude is performed in the form of appreciation other’s goodness.

Abstract

The use of formalin as a food preservative is still common today. One type of food that is mixed with formaldehyde preservatives is cilok. There is a simple way without using chemicals to detect the formaldehyde content in cilok, namely using red dragon fruit skin. Red dragon fruit skin is waste that is not utilized and has the potential to provide natural coloring to food. Anthocyanin is a type of compound that reacts easily when mixed with acid or base compounds. The anthocyanin content in dragon fruit skin can identify the presence of formalin compounds in food. Anthocyanin has the same strong acid properties as formalin so when anthocyanin meets formalin, the formalin content can be easily observed organoleptically. This study aims to determine the formalin content in cilok taken in Rogojampi District in as many as 19 samples using a cross-sectional study method. The test results showed that the samples tested were negative or did not contain formalin.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has made social media one of the most influential platforms in the purchasing decision process. TikTok is one of the social media platforms currently popular in Indonesia. The presence of TikTok has attracted many companies to start utilizing it as a marketing tool. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Content Marketing and Celebrity Endorsement on purchasing decisions for Hafez Restorer products on TikTok, with Brand Trust as an intervening variable. The research method used is quantitative, with data analysis techniques involving path analysis. The sampling method employed purposive sampling with 106 respondents. Data processing was carried out using SPSS software version 22. The results of the study indicate that the variables of Content Marketing and Celebrity Endorser have a positive and significant effect on Brand Trust. Additionally, Content Marketing and Celebrity Endorser have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, and Brand Trust positively and significantly affects Purchasing Decisions. Furthermore, Content Marketing and Celebrity Endorser indirectly influence purchasing decisions through Brand Trust as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Industri kerupuk ikan tenggiri UD. Kiki Makmur merupakan UMKM yang fokus pada pengolahan ikan menjadi kerupuk, dengan pemanfaatan mesin modern untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi. Usaha ini didirikan pada tahun 2017 oleh Bapak Sampir dan Ibu Suparmi di Desa Sawo, Kecamatan Kutorejo, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Sumber pendanaan penelitian berasal dari beberapa pinjaman anggota keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan saran bagi usaha dalam menilai keberlangsungan bisnisnya. Evaluasi aspek keuangan dan pemasaran akan membantu mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, serta pengembangan strategi yang tepat. Dengan demikian, usaha dapat mengambil keputusan yang lebih terarah untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya. strategi bagi perusahaan. Tiga kriteria utama yang digunakan untuk analisis keuangan adalah Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), dan Payback Period (PP). Data penelitian menunjukkan usaha ini memiliki prospek yang layak dikembangkan. Perhitungan keuangan mencatat NPV sebesar Rp. 215.478.399, PI sebesar 1,83, dan PP selama 2,05 tahun. Sementara itu, analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi berbagai strategi pemasaran yang dapat diterapkan, seperti peningkatan kualitas dan volume produksi untuk memperluas pasar, standarisasi produk, modernisasi alat, optimalisasi persaingan, peningkatan layanan pelanggan, serta inovasi produk guna memperkuat daya saing di industri makanan olahan.
